Description

Rotatable television, display management method and device thereof, and storage medium
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of televisions, in particular to a rotatable television, a display management method and device thereof, and a storage medium.
Background
In combination with the ecology of large and small screen mutual projection, the concept of rotating television starts to rise, and different implementation schemes appear. One implementation scheme is to simulate the rotation of a mobile phone, and a gravity sensor is arranged in the television, and a rotating support is arranged outside the television, so that a user can manually control the rotation of the television to realize the switching between a horizontal screen and a vertical screen.
However, this implementation presents certain problems in applications that require either a forced landscape or forced portrait. Specifically, for a mobile phone user, when the mobile phone user faces the application of a forced transverse screen or a forced vertical screen, the mobile phone can be flatly placed on a desktop for use by fully utilizing the Z-axis direction; however, for television users, there is no scenario for use flat on a desktop. This means that, on the television system, the user's look and feel is very poor when the forced portrait software is displayed in the landscape state of the television or when the forced landscape software is displayed in the portrait state.
On the other hand, most of the current third-party television software is only adapted to a horizontal screen but is not yet available or is not intended to be adapted to a vertical screen, and if a user unwittingly rotates the television without corresponding rotation of the picture, the user is also provided with very poor use experience, and even the illusion that the television or the software goes wrong is generated.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, a first embodiment of the present invention provides a display management method for a rotatable tv, which can be executed by the rotatable tv, and in particular, executed by one or more processors in the rotatable tv, to implement the following steps:
s101, monitoring the placing state of the television through a built-in gravity sensor.
In this embodiment, the rotatable television set includes a television body and a rotatable bracket for placing the television body, and the rotatable bracket can be rotated according to a manual operation of a user or a remote control operation, so as to drive the selection of the television body, thereby realizing the change of the placement state of the television set.
Particularly, in this embodiment, a gravity sensor may be disposed in the rotatable television, and when the television body is selected, the gravity sensor may sense the rotation, and determine the current placement state according to the rotation angle, such as the horizontal screen state or the vertical screen state.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the horizontal screen state is not a state in which the television is completely horizontally arranged, and the vertical screen state is not a state in which the television is completely vertically arranged, and the television can realize switching between the two states after sensing that the rotation of the television exceeds a certain angle, and the specific angle is set according to actual needs, which is not limited in the present invention.
S102, when the placement state of the television is judged to be changed, acquiring an application home page corresponding to the changed current placement state; and the applications in the application home page are all provided with a display mode adaptive to the current placement state.
In this embodiment, the placement state includes a landscape screen state and a portrait screen state, and the application home page includes a first application home page corresponding to the landscape screen state and a second application home page corresponding to the portrait screen state; the applications in the first application home page all have a horizontal screen display function; and the applications in the second application home page have the vertical screen display function.
In this embodiment, first, the package name of the first application home page and the package name of the second application home page need to be set, and then the two package names are set in the custom system property persistence. Meanwhile, a custom code is added in the choposeBestActivity function of PackageManagerService. The custom code, when executed, performs the following decisions: when the ChooseBestActivity finds the best candidate for the home page, if the value of persistence.XXX.launcher is not null, then the candidate in the candidate list that contains the value of persistence.XXX.launcher is the best candidate.
Therefore, when the change of the placement state is detected, the television can acquire the corresponding package name according to the placement state and read the corresponding application home page according to the package name.
In this embodiment, the applications in the first application home page and the applications in the second application home page may be manually set by the user, that is, the user may place the application with the landscape screen display function into the first application home page and place the application with the portrait screen display function into the second application home page. Of course, when the application is installed by the television, the display mode of the application can be obtained by reading the specified parameters in the application and placing the application into the corresponding application home page, and these schemes are all within the protection scope of the present invention.
It will be appreciated that for some applications having both landscape and portrait displays, it may exist within both application home pages.
S103, setting the corresponding home page application as a default home page application so as to display the home page application when receiving an instruction of returning to the home page.
In this embodiment, the instruction for returning to the home page may be generated in various forms, for example, the instruction may be generated by a user pressing a remote controller or a designated key (such as a key for returning to the home page) on the television, or may be generated automatically after the television detects that the placement state has changed, and the present invention is not limited in particular.
In summary, in this embodiment, when the placement state of the television changes, different application home pages can be formed, and the application in the application home page has a display mode adapted to the current placement state, so that the problem of poor viewing experience and the like caused by the fact that the display mode of the application opened by the user is not matched with the current placement state is avoided.

if not, closing the application and generating an instruction for returning to the home page.
In this embodiment, a user may first set a white list in a user-defined manner, and add applications to the white list, which are not closed when a television is changed. Then, based on PhoneWindowManager.java, WindowOrientationListener class, PackageManagerService.java of the android source code, custom modification is carried out, so that when the placement state of the television is changed, applications except the white list can be closed.
Therefore, when the television detects that the placement state of the television is changed, the television firstly judges whether the application is in a white list, and if so, the running state of the application is kept; if not, closing the application and generating an instruction for returning to the home page.
In another preferred embodiment, after setting the corresponding top page application as a default top page application, the method further includes:
detecting an application currently running by the television;
judging whether the application has a display mode corresponding to the current placement state;
if yes, switching the display mode of the application to be matched with the current placement state;
if not, closing the application and generating an instruction for returning to the home page.
Similarly, in this embodiment, if it is detected that the currently running application has the display mode corresponding to the current placement state, the viewing experience of the user is not affected, and therefore, only the display mode of the currently running application needs to be switched without closing the application.
Referring to fig. 2, a second embodiment of the present invention further provides a display management apparatus for a rotatable tv, which includes:
a monitoring unit 210 for monitoring the placement state of the television itself through a built-in gravity sensor;
an application home page acquiring unit 220, configured to acquire an application home page corresponding to a changed current placement state when it is determined that the placement state of the television is changed; the applications in the application home page are all provided with a display mode adaptive to the current placement state;
a setting unit 230, configured to set the corresponding home application as a default home application, so as to display the home application when an instruction to return to a home page is received.
