Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for positioning private access small routing equipment, wherein the method comprises the following steps: closing a port on a switch of the direct connection server; a server address is ping-tested through a certain client host, and an MAC address table is reconstructed; configuring IP addresses on all two-layer network switches to construct an auxiliary MAC address table, and if the original switch is provided with a management address, the original switch is used for the sake of convenience; and performing statistical sorting on the table entries containing the MAC addresses of the client hosts, wherein the switch with the largest number is the switch to be positioned. In the operation and maintenance process of some small and medium-sized enterprises or hospital networks, due to the fact that individuals are connected with small routers in a private mode to share the Internet in a wireless mode, the addresses of the devices conflict with the addresses of servers or important hosts in a local area network, and therefore the servers or the important hosts cannot work normally. There are generally two cases: firstly, a client and a server are divided into different vlans, so that the influence of a private access router is an important host part; secondly, the client and the server are divided into the same vlan, so that the influence of the private access router is an important host or server part. Since the mechanisms affecting the host and affecting the server are the same, only the partitioning of the client and server into the same vlan, a discussion of the impact of the private small router on the server portion, is presented here.

The method for positioning the private access small routing equipment provided by the invention comprises the following steps:

It should be noted that although several modules of the apparatus to locate a privately small routing device are mentioned in the above detailed description, such partitioning is merely exemplary and not mandatory.
