The connecting assembly of claim 1, wherein the vertical displacement member further comprises a second elastic member, the second elastic member is sleeved outside the upper bracket and inside the lower bracket, a top end of the second elastic member abuts against an inner wall of the lower bracket, and a bottom end of the second elastic member abuts against a bottom end of the upper bracket.

The connecting assembly according to claim 2, wherein the upper bracket comprises an upper support rod and a lower support rod which are connected with each other, the outer diameter of the upper support rod is larger than that of the lower support rod, a first step is formed at the joint of the upper support rod and the lower support rod, the top end of the lower bracket abuts against the first step, and the lower support rod is accommodated in the lower bracket.
4. A connecting assembly according to claim 3, characterised in that the bottom end of the lower strut is provided with a stop which abuts against the bottom end of the second resilient member.
5. The connecting assembly according to claim 1, wherein the inner wall of the floating cover is provided with a third elastic member, and the top end of the upper bracket is provided with a ball head which is arranged in the third elastic member.
6. The connection assembly of claim 1, wherein the bumper is a cylinder having sidewalls that are pleated.
7. The connecting assembly according to claim 1, wherein the outer wall of the mounting seat is provided with a first recess, and the bottom end of the buffer member is engaged with the first recess.
8. The connecting assembly according to claim 1, wherein the top outer wall of the lower bracket is provided with a second recess, and the top end of the buffer member is engaged with the second recess.

The connecting assembly according to claim 1, wherein a second step is arranged on the inner wall of the mounting seat, a baffle is arranged at the bottom end of the lower support, the top end of the first elastic member abuts against the second step, and the bottom end of the first elastic member abuts against the baffle.

A lawnmower comprising a floating cover and a machine body, and further comprising a first connecting mechanism disposed between the floating cover and the machine body, wherein the first connecting mechanism comprises two connecting assemblies according to any one of claims 1 to 9 and two supporting assemblies, the two connecting assemblies are located on the front side of the machine body, the two supporting assemblies are located on the rear side of the machine body, and the supporting assemblies can be deformed by a horizontal force applied to the floating cover.
11. A lawnmower comprising a floating cover and a machine body, and further comprising a second connecting mechanism disposed between the floating cover and the machine body, the second connecting mechanism comprising four connecting assemblies according to any one of claims 1 to 9, the four connecting assemblies each being located around the machine body.
