The using method comprises the following steps: the vortex engine is arranged in water flow, impurities and aquatic weeds in the water flow can flow along the water flow, when the impurities and the aquatic weeds flow to the conical cover 3, the impurities and the aquatic weeds can flow to the positions on two sides of the conical cover 3 along the inclined plane of the conical cover 3, although the accumulation of the impurities and the aquatic weeds in a short period cannot influence the water inlet hole 4 on the generator, the accumulation in a long period can influence the water inlet of the water inlet hole 4, and therefore the power generation of the generator is influenced. Because the second fixed claw 62 floats on the water surface, the first fixed claw 61 sinks on the water bottom, and the impurities and the aquatic weeds on the two sides of the conical cover 3 float along with the water flow, and the impurities and the aquatic weeds are driven to flow between the first fixed claw 61 and the second fixed claw 62 by the power of the water flow. When needing to salvage pasture and impurity, pull up slide bar 64 and make its first stationary dog 61 drag for impurity and pasture and water, when first stationary dog 61 comes off the surface of water, second stationary dog 62 is because the gravity of self slides down along slide bar 64, thereby with first stationary dog 61 interlock, realize fixed when dragging for impurity and pasture and water, impurity and basin are unloading from the stationary dog to the manual work at last, thereby realize the clearance of salvaging impurity and pasture and water, and easy operation is practical, avoided the pasture and water to enter into inside vortex generator and caused the winding problem of vortex impeller 7 simultaneously.
