Abstract
A golf club head comprises a metal piece, a complex body connected with the metal piece and matched with the metal piece to define an opening, an accessory fixed by the complex body in a shooting and wrapping mode, and a top cover made of a carbon fiber plate and used for closing the opening. The composite body is made by coating the carbon fiber plate with plastic in an injection coating mode, so that the carbon fiber plate and the accessories are integrally formed, the carbon fiber plate can provide a high-strength structure, the plastic has good flowability, and the limit of the formed shape is lower than that of metal, so that the composite body can extend the carbon fiber plate to the bottom of the whole ball head, the metal consumption is greatly reduced, and the design elasticity is improved.

Technical Field
The present invention relates to a golf club, and more particularly to a golf club head.
Background
Referring to fig. 1, a conventional golf club head 1 usually uses metal as a main material, but the metal has a disadvantage of heavy weight due to high density, so that the metal is gradually replaced by a composite material with high strength and low density to improve functionality, for example, a top cover 11 of the golf club head 1 made of a carbon fiber plate is a current mainstream design, but the carbon fiber plate has a limitation in appearance, so that the metal is still used as a main body for a bottom of a golf club head, but the metal is also limited in molding, for example, the limitation of casting shrinkage or casting shrinkage can cause the finished product to be different from the design drawing, and when an accessory 12 such as a weight needs to be added, the accessory 12 needs to be bonded on the metal 13 in a gluing or locking manner, so that the installation of the accessory 12 is still limited by the metal 13, which all can cause a problem of high usage of the metal 13 and high cost.

The golf club head of the present invention; the method is characterized in that: the golf club head comprises a metal piece, a complex body, at least one accessory and at least one top cover, wherein the complex body is connected with the metal piece and is matched with the metal piece to define at least one opening, the accessory is fixed by the complex body in a shooting and wrapping mode, and the top cover is made of a carbon fiber plate and is used for closing the at least one opening. The composite body is made by coating at least one carbon fiber plate with plastic in a shooting and wrapping mode.
The object of the present invention and the technical problems solved thereby can be further achieved by the following technical measures.
Preferably, in the golf club head, the metal member includes a body portion and at least one protruding rib portion protruding from the body portion toward the complex, and the complex includes a body portion and at least one clamping portion covering the at least one protruding rib portion.
Preferably, the at least one clamping portion has an extension section connected to the main body portion, a receiving section connected to the extension section and abutting against the rib portion, and two clamping sections connected to the receiving section and spaced apart from each other on opposite sides of the rib portion and clamping the rib portion.
Preferably, the golf club head further comprises a plurality of clamping portions, and the extension portions of the clamping portions are connected to each other.
Preferably, the cross-sectional area of the receiving section along the length direction is rectangular or triangular.
Preferably, the length and the thickness of the clamping section are asymmetric.
Preferably, the golf club head of the above, wherein the at least one accessory is completely covered or partially exposed by the composite.
Preferably, in the golf club head, the at least one accessory is partially exposed from the composite body, and the top cover forms at least one slot corresponding to the at least one accessory, wherein the slot exposes the at least one accessory.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the at least one carbon fiber plate and the at least one accessory are integrally formed in a shooting and wrapping mode, the at least one carbon fiber plate can provide a high-strength structure, the plastic has good flowability, the limit of the shape which can be formed is lower than that of metal, the limit of casting wax shrinkage and casting shrinkage is avoided, the matching degree of a finished product and a design drawing file is high, and therefore the composite body can extend the at least one carbon fiber plate to the bottom of the whole ball head (a plurality of carbon fiber plates can be used to increase the area if necessary), the metal consumption is greatly reduced, and the design elasticity is improved.

Detailed Description
The invention is described in detail below with reference to the following figures and examples:
referring to fig. 2, 3 and 4, a first embodiment of the golf club head of the present invention comprises a metal member 2, a composite body 4 connecting the metal member 2 and defining an opening 3 in cooperation with the metal member 2, a fitting 5 fixed to the composite body 4, and a cover 6 connecting the metal member 2 and the composite body 4 and closing the opening 3. In the first embodiment, the metal member 2 may be a striking plate (CUP FACE) of a golf club head according to actual requirements; the composite 4 is formed by injection-coating one or more carbon fiber sheets and the fittings 5 with plastic, and plastic with high fluidity can be molded into a state with an arc-shaped and complex shape, and by coating the carbon fiber sheets with high molding limitation, the structural strength of the composite 4 can be maintained, and a shape which cannot be formed by the carbon fiber sheets alone can be obtained. It should be noted that the injection molding herein refers to a process of injection molding plastic onto a target object to fully or partially cover other objects, and the composite 4 may be a sole of a golf club head according to actual requirements. The fitting 5 is wholly or partially covered by the composite 4, the fitting 5 can be a weight, a decoration or other elements of the golf club head according to actual requirements, when the fitting 5 is a weight, the composite 4 can embed all or part of the fitting 5, and a reinforcing rib (not shown) is additionally designed to position the fitting 5 to reinforce the overall structural strength. When the accessory 5 is a decorative member, the complex 4 may cover only a portion of the accessory 5 and expose the other portion to achieve a decorative effect. The top cover 6 is made of carbon fiber plate and is fixed on the metal piece 2 and the complex 4 by gluing or other means.
The carbon fiber plate of the first embodiment is embedded in the carbon fiber plate which is not easy to be formed by injection, the plastic with strong fluidity has lower forming limit than metal, and has no limit of casting wax shrinkage and casting shrinkage, the finished product is more matched with the design drawing, and the carbon fiber material which can improve the structural strength is matched, so that the traditional golf club head bottom made of titanium alloy can be replaced, the using amount of metal is greatly reduced, the weight of the golf club head is lightened, and the application elasticity of the counterweight is improved.
Referring to fig. 5 and 6, a second embodiment of the golf club head of the present invention is substantially the same as the first embodiment except that: the metal member 2 includes a body portion 21, and a rib portion 22 projecting from the body portion 21 toward the complex 4. The composite 4 includes a main body portion 41 and a clamping portion 42 that covers the rib portion 22. The clamping portion 42 has an extension 421 connected to the main body portion 41, a receiving portion 422 connected to the extension 421, and two clamping portions 423 connected to the receiving portion 422 and spaced apart from each other on opposite sides of the rib 22 for clamping the rib 22. The rib 22 is clamped by the clamping segments 423, thereby improving the bonding strength between the metal fitting 2 and the composite 4.
Referring to fig. 5, 7, and 8, the cross-sectional area of the receiving section 422 along the length direction may be rectangular as shown in fig. 5, or may be triangular as shown in fig. 7 and 8, so as to reinforce the structural strength of the clamping portion 42, and the length and thickness of the clamping section 423 may be asymmetrically arranged as shown in fig. 8, so as to achieve the desired combination effect. Referring to fig. 9 and 10, the metal member 2 may also include a plurality of ribs 22, the composite body 4 may include a plurality of spaced-apart clamping portions 42, and the extending sections 421 of the clamping portions 42 may also be connected to each other as shown in fig. 10 to strengthen the overall structural strength, or the connecting sections may also be receiving sections 422 (or both), but not limited thereto.
Referring to fig. 11 and 12, a third embodiment of a golf club head of the present invention is substantially the same as the first embodiment, except that: the metal piece 2 (not shown) and the composite 4 cooperate to define a plurality of openings 3, and the golf club head includes a plurality of caps 6 that respectively close the openings 3. The opening 3 and the top cover 6 can be designed in different shapes, sizes, and positions as required as shown in fig. 11 and 12. The third embodiment can greatly increase the design flexibility and make the golf club head more featured.
Referring to fig. 13 and 14, a fourth embodiment of a golf club head of the present invention is substantially the same as the first embodiment except that: the golf club head comprises a plurality of accessories 5, each accessory 5 can be completely covered by the compound 4 or only partially covered to expose other parts of the accessory 5, when the accessory 5 is positioned between the top cover 6 and the compound 4 and needs to be exposed, a slot 61 aligned with the accessory 5 can be formed on the top cover 6, so that the accessory 5 can be exposed outwards through the slot 61 to generate special visual effects. Of course, a plurality of slots 61 may be disposed on the same top cover 6, and when a plurality of top covers 6 are shown in fig. 14 in the fourth embodiment, the slots 61 may be disposed on only one of the top covers 6, but not limited thereto.
In summary, the present invention has lower molding restrictions, and the high structural strength of the carbon fiber sheet can significantly reduce the amount of metal used to reduce the weight, and the design flexibility can be significantly increased by the various arrangements of the top cover 6, the composite body 4, and the fittings 5, thereby achieving the object of the present invention.
Claims (7)
1. A golf club head; the method is characterized in that: the golf club head comprises a metal piece, a complex body, at least one accessory and at least one top cover, wherein the complex body is connected with the metal piece and is matched with the metal piece to define at least one opening; the composite body is made by coating at least one carbon fiber plate by plastic in a shooting and wrapping mode; the metal piece comprises a body part and at least one convex rib part protruding from the body part to the complex, and the complex comprises a main body part and at least one clamping part covering the at least one convex rib part.
2. The golf club head of claim 1, wherein: the at least one clamping part is provided with an extension section connected with the main body part, a bearing section connected with the extension section and abutted against the convex rib part, and two clamping sections connected with the bearing section, positioned on two opposite sides of the convex rib part at intervals and clamping the convex rib part.
3. The golf club head of claim 2, wherein: the composite body comprises a plurality of clamping parts, the extension sections of which are connected to one another.
4. The golf club head of claim 2, wherein: the cross section area of the bearing section along the length direction is rectangular or triangular.
5. The golf club head of claim 2, wherein: the length and the thickness of the clamping section are asymmetrically arranged.
6. The golf club head of claim 1, wherein: the at least one fitting may be completely encased by the composite or partially exposed.
7. The golf club head of claim 1, wherein: the at least one fitting is partially exposed out of the composite body, and the top cover forms at least one groove corresponding to the at least one fitting, and the groove enables the at least one fitting to be exposed.
