The session Management method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, may be applied to a PNI-NPN, a PLMN, an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) in the PNI-NPN, an AMF in the PLMN, and an OAM (Operation Administration and Ma) in the PLMN, and may be applied to a PNI-NPN, a PLMN, and an OAM (Access and Mobility Management Function) in the PNI-NPNThe session management system includes an enterprise, an operation management and maintenance functional entity, a UE (User Equipment), and the like, where a PLMN carries PNI-NPN, and the PNI-NPN is an NPN network constructed based on network fragmentation on the PLMN. The solid oval represents the core network range, the dashed oval represents the radio network coverage, AMF1(i.e., the first AMF), AMF3(i.e., the third AMF) represents AMF in PNI-NPN, AMF2(i.e., the second AMF) represents the AMF in the PLMN, OAM is responsible for completing parameter management and configuration for the PLMN, and UE (i.e., user equipment) may be in the wireless network coverage of PNI-NPN and/or PLMN.
As shown in fig. 2, an embodiment of the present invention provides a session management method, which when applied to OAM, may include the following steps:
in step S11, in response to the session management request sent by the first AMF, network resource configuration is performed for the user equipment according to the session slice information carried in the session management request.
The session management request is sent by the first AMF when the connected user equipment is detected to be switched to the second AMF and the user equipment has an unfinished session, and the PLMN where the first AMF is located carries the PNI-NPN where the second AMF is located.
In step S12, the second AMF is instructed to send the context parameters of the user equipment to the third AMF, and the third AMF is instructed to maintain the session of the user equipment for the third AMF to maintain the session of the user equipment according to the network resource configuration and the context parameters.
The third AMF may be an existing AMF in the PLMN, or may be an AMF temporarily created in the PLMN by OAM.
Initially, the UE is connected to the PNI-NPN, in the PNI-NPN wireless network coverage, and AMF1And (4) connecting. When AMF1Detecting a handover of a UE to an AMF2And when the UE has an unfinished session, the UE leaves the wireless network coverage of the PNI-NPN and enters the wireless network coverage of the PLMN to be connected to the AMF along with the change of the user position2At this point, the session that the UE has not finished is about to be interrupted. Thus, AMF1Sending a session management request carrying session slice information to the OAM, theThe session slice information is associated with the session which is not finished by the UE, the OAM performs network resource configuration for the user equipment according to the session slice information and selects the AMF3Taking over the session of UE which is not finished, after the configuration is finished, OAM indicates AMF2Will be derived from AMF1Transfer of obtained context parameters of UE to AMF3While OAM indicates AMF3Maintaining sessions, AMF, of UEs3Network resource allocation and AMF according to OAM2The context parameters of the handed-over UE keep the not yet ended session of the UE.
As can be seen from the foregoing steps S11-S12, in the session management method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, when it is detected that the connected ue is switched to the second AMF and the ue has an unfinished session, the first AMF sends a session management request to the OAM, the OAM performs network resource configuration for the ue according to the session slice information carried in the session management request, instructs the second AMF to send the context parameter of the ue to the third AMF, and instructs the third AMF to maintain the session of the ue, so that the third AMF maintains the session of the ue according to the network resource configuration and the context parameter. When the user equipment leaves the PNI-NPN wireless network coverage range and enters the wireless network coverage range of the PNI-NPN bearing PLMN, the third AMF can keep the session which is not ended yet according to the network resource configuration made by the OAM and the context parameters of the user equipment forwarded by the second AMF, so that the session which is in progress by the user equipment cannot be interrupted forcibly, and the user experience is improved.
It should be noted that the third AMF may be an AMF in a PLMN, and in the embodiment of the present invention, the third AMF is not specifically limited, and the third AMF and the second AMF may also be the same AMF, at this time, the OAM may only indicate that the second AMF (and the third AMF) maintains the session of the UE, because the second AMF has already obtained the context parameter of the UE from the first AMF in the process of switching the UE from the first AMF to the second AMF, the second AMF may directly maintain the session of the UE according to the network resource configuration and the context parameter that the OAM does.
In some embodiments, the network resource configuration includes dividing wireless network resources and allocating core network resources, and after instructing the second AMF to send context parameters of the user equipment to the third AMF and instructing the third AMF to maintain the session of the user equipment, the method may further include the steps of: responsive to the session ending, wireless network resources are de-partitioned and core network resources are allocated.
The radio network resource may be a time slice, a frequency point, a frequency band, a radio signal (including a code, a frequency, etc.), a microwave, etc., and the core network resource may be a network element such as a User Plane Function (UPF), a Session Management Function (SMF), etc., which manages a Session of the User equipment, and the allocating the core network resource may also be creating a network slice. AMF3Mainly based on wireless network resources and AMF divided by OAM2The context parameters of the handed-over UE keep the not yet ended session of the UE.
When the session of the UE is over, the OAM needs to restore the network configuration for keeping the UE session uninterrupted, specifically, canceling the division of the wireless network resources for the UE, that is, restoring the configuration performed when the wireless network resources are divided for the UE; and canceling the allocation of the core network resources for the UE, namely recovering the configuration performed when the core network resources are allocated for the UE.
In some embodiments, the session Slice Information at least includes an S-NSSAI (Single Network Slice Selection Assistance Information) parameter corresponding to a session, and performing Network resource configuration for the user equipment according to the session Slice Information carried in the session management request may include the following steps: determining the wireless network resource requirement and the core network resource of the session according to the S-NSSAI parameter corresponding to the session; and allocating core network resources for the user equipment, and marking the wireless network resources meeting the wireless network resource requirements in the PLMN as the wireless network resources available for PNI-NPN.
Wherein, the S-NSSAI parameter is an S-NSSAI value used by the session, and the S-NSSAI values have a one-to-one correspondence relationship with the session, that is, if the UE has a plurality of sessions that are not ended, the S-NSSAI parameter includes a plurality of S-NSSAI values, which respectively correspond to the plurality of sessions that are not ended by the UE one-to-one。AMF3OAM may be created in the PLMN according to the core network resources allocated for the UE. According to the S-NSSAI value used by the session, the types of network elements such as UPF and SMF required by the session, the service quality parameters and other information can be determined, OAM can allocate core network resources for UE and determine the wireless network resource requirements of the UE on the current routing tracking area of the UE according to the S-NSSAI parameter in the session slice information, and the wireless network resources meeting the wireless network resource requirements of the UE in PLMN are marked as PNI-NPN available wireless network resources so as to facilitate the follow-up AMF3Marking that can be done according to OAM and AMF2The context parameters of the handed-over UE keep the session that the UE has not ended.
It should be noted that the session slice information may include an S-NSSAI value used by a session that is not ended by the ue, and may also include an identifier of a handover target AMF of the ue, that is, an identifier of a second AMF, and a route tracking area where the ue is currently located, that is, a coverage area of a wireless network.
As shown in fig. 3, an embodiment of the present invention provides a session management method, which when applied to a third AMF, may include the following steps:
in step S21, in response to the context parameter of the user equipment sent by the second AMF and the indication of maintaining the session of the user equipment sent by the OAM, the session of the user equipment is maintained according to the network resource configuration and the context parameter made by the OAM.
The indication for maintaining the session of the user equipment is sent by the OAM after receiving the session management request sent by the first AMF, and the PLMN where the first AMF is located carries the PNI-NPN where the second AMF is located.
When AMF3Receiving AMF2When the UE context parameter and the indication of keeping the session of the user equipment are sent by the OAM, the UE leaves the wireless network coverage of the PNI-NPN and enters the wireless network coverage of the PLMN to be connected to the AMF2At this point, the session that the UE has not finished is about to be interrupted. Thus, AMF3Network resource allocation and AMF according to OAM2The transmitted context parameters maintain the session of the terminal so that it will notDue to the change of the position, the ongoing conversation of the user equipment is forced to be interrupted, and the user experience is improved.
In some embodiments, the network resource configuration includes partitioning wireless network resources, and the maintaining a session of the user equipment according to the network resource configuration and the context parameters made by the OAM may include the following steps: allocating wireless network resources to the user equipment according to the wireless network resources divided by the OAM and the context parameters so that the user equipment can perform conversation through the allocated wireless network resources; forwarding NAS (Non-access Stratum) signaling sent by the user equipment to the first AMF, and forwarding NAS signaling sent by the first AMF to the user equipment.
The OAM marks the wireless network resources meeting the wireless network resource requirements of the UE in the PLMN as PNI-NPN available wireless network resources, AMF3Receiving AMF2The sent context parameters and the OAM sent indication of keeping the session of the user equipment, the PNI-NPN available wireless network resources and AMF can be marked according to the OAM2The sent context parameters allocate wireless network resources for the UE so that the UE can pass through the AMF3The allocated wireless network resources are used for carrying out conversation; AMF3It can also be used as relay AMF in UE and AMF1Forwarding NAS signaling of the UE to maintain session connectivity of the UE. Corresponding to the UE being in the wireless network coverage of the PLMN at this time, but still accessing the PNI-NPN.
It should be noted that AMF3It can also be through other AMFs at UE and AMF1Between NAS signaling of the UE, i.e. UE and AMF1The NAS signaling is transmitted between the two devices not only through the AMF3Other AMFs are needed to pass through, but only have forwarding function at the moment, and the AMFs still pass through3And allocating wireless network resources for the UE and indicating other AMFs for forwarding according to the network resource configuration and the context parameters made by the OAM.
In some embodiments, after maintaining the session of the user equipment according to the network resource configuration and the context parameter made by OAM, the method may further include the steps of: in response to the session ending, the connection between the user equipment and the PNI-NPN is disconnected.
AMF when the session of UE is over3The connection between the user equipment and the PNI-NPN can be forcibly disconnected.
It is emphasized that the CAG (Closed Access Group) is used for connection Access control of the PNI-NPN connected UEs, and if one UE is marked as "CAG cell only connected", the UE can only Access the PNI-NPN by connecting the cells marked as CAG in the PNI-NPN and cannot connect the cells not marked as CAG. Therefore, in the embodiment of the present invention, the UE must not be marked as "connected to only the CAG cell" to enable the UE to access the PNI-NPN by connecting to the cell not marked as CAG.
As shown in fig. 4, an embodiment of the present invention provides a session management method, which when applied to a first AMF, may include the following steps:
in step S31, in response to detecting that the ue connected to the current AMF is switched to the second AMF and the ue has an unfinished session, send a session management request to the OAM, so that the OAM configures network resources for the ue according to the session slice information carried in the session management request, instructs the second AMF to send context parameters of the ue to the third AMF, and instructs the third AMF to maintain the session of the ue.
And the PLMN where the first AMF is located carries the PNI-NPN where the second AMF is located.
Thus, AMF1Sending a session management request carrying session slice information of a session which is not finished by the UE to the OAM, so that the OAM can carry out network resource configuration for the user equipment according to the session slice information and select the AMF3Taking over the session of UE which is not finished, and indicating AMF after configuration is finished2Will be derived from AMF1Obtained UE's upper partContext parameters are handed over to AMF3While indicating AMF3Maintaining an as yet unfinished session, AMF, of a UE3Network resource allocation and AMF according to OAM2The context parameters of the handed-over UE keep the not yet ended session of the UE. Therefore, ongoing conversation of the user equipment is not forced to be interrupted due to the change of the position, and the user experience is improved.
The following briefly describes the session management method provided by the present invention with reference to fig. 1 and a specific embodiment:
step 1, AMF1Detecting a handover of a UE to an AMF2And the UE has an unfinished session, and sends a session management request to the OAM, wherein the session management request carries the following information: S-NSSAI value, AMF, used by UE-not-ended sessions2And the route tracking area where the UE is currently located.
And 2, OAM allocates core network resources for the UE in a current routing tracking area of the UE according to the S-NSSAI value used by the session which is not ended by the UE, and marks the wireless network resources which meet the wireless network resource requirements of the UE in the PLMN as PNI-NPN available wireless network resources.
It should be noted that, as the user location changes, the routing tracking area where the UE is located in step 2 may be different from the routing tracking area where the UE is located in step 1.
Step 3, OAM indication AMF2To AMF3Sending context parameters of the UE, and indicating AMF3The session of the UE is maintained.
Step 4, AMF3Receiving an indication of maintaining a session of a UE and an AMF sent by OAM2Context parameters of the transmitted UE.
Step 5, AMF3And allocating wireless network resources for the UE according to the PNI-NPN available wireless network resources marked by the OAM and the context parameters.
Step 6, AMF3At UE and AMF1Forwarding NAS signaling of the UE.
And 7, ending the session of the UE.
Step 8, AMF3Disconnecting the UE from the PNI in response to the end of the session for the UE-a connection between NPN.
And 9, responding to the session end of the UE, the OAM cancels the mark in the step 2, and cancels the core network resource distributed for the UE.
The process ends.
Based on the same technical concept, as shown in fig. 5, an embodiment of the present invention further provides an OAM, which may include:
a receiving module 101, configured to receive a session management request sent by a first access and mobility management function entity AMF.
