Therefore, the material can be prevented from losing efficacy due to overhigh temperature.
In particular, in embodiments where the household appliance 100 is a dishwasher, the material may be a dishwashing block. It will be appreciated that the dishwashing block has active enzymes therein for cleaning. Since active enzymes have a temperature requirement limit, in the case of storing the dishwashing blocks in the storage chamber 13, it is necessary to ensure that the temperature in the storage chamber 13 is not too high to inactivate the active enzymes.
When the temperature in the material storage chamber 13 is higher than the temperature threshold value, the storage environment difference in the material storage chamber 13 can be determined, and the material is likely to fail, so that the controller 19 can control the adjusting device 15 to adjust the temperature. In one embodiment, the temperature threshold is 60 degrees. Under the condition that the temperature in the material storage cavity 13 is higher than 60 ℃, the high-temperature state in the material storage cavity 13 can be determined, so that the adjusting device 15 can be controlled to adjust the temperature until the temperature in the material storage cavity 13 is lower than 60 ℃. The temperature threshold can be selected according to specific conditions, and can also be calibrated through testing.
