The present application is described in detail below with reference to the figures and alternative embodiments.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view of a display device according to an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 1, the present application discloses a display device 10, which includes a backlight module 200, the display device 10 further includes a curved display panel 100, and the backlight module 200 is disposed on one side of a light incident surface of the curved display panel 100. The backlight module 200 provides a light source for the curved display panel 100 to ensure the normal display of the curved display panel 100.
The curved display panel 100 employed in the display device 10 of the present application may be a liquid crystal display panel or an organic light emitting diode display panel, and is not particularly limited herein; when the curved display panel 100 is manufactured, two substrates of the planar display panel are bent at a certain angle to form a curved surface, and in the process of bending the two substrates, the two substrates are the curved display panel 100 formed by bending the two sides of the display panel towards the central line direction of the display panel, when the curved display panel is bent, the two substrates are easily subjected to horizontal direction due to different bending curvatures, namely, dislocation in the X-axis direction, the display panel is bent in a proper range, the influence on the overall performance of the display panel is small, but the bending angle is increased at any time, excessive dislocation easily occurs in the two substrates of the display panel, and thus, the dislocation occurs in the shading part originally arranged between the two substrates, and the problem of light leakage is caused.
The display device 10 of the present application is improved for the curved surface display panel 100, and under the condition that the display panel is not hindered from being bent, the light leakage between the two substrates caused by excessive dislocation of the two substrates is prevented, and the specific improvement of the present application for the curved surface display panel 100 is as follows:
fig. 2 is a partial schematic view of a curved display panel according to a first embodiment of the present application before bending, fig. 3 is a partial schematic view of a curved display panel according to a first embodiment of the present application after bending, as shown in fig. 2 and fig. 3, the present application further discloses a curved display panel 100, which includes a first substrate 110, a second substrate 120, and a spacer 300, wherein the first substrate 110 and the second substrate 120 are arranged in a box-to-box manner, one end of the spacer 300 is fixedly connected to the first substrate 110, and the other end of the spacer abuts against the second substrate 120, the curved display panel 100 further includes a limiting module 150, and the limiting module 150 is arranged between the first substrate 110 and the second substrate 120; the limiting module 150 includes a fixing member 160 and a limiting member 170, the fixing member 160 is disposed on one side of the second substrate 120 close to the first substrate 110, the limiting member 170 is disposed on the first substrate 110 corresponding to the position of the fixing member 160, and the height of the limiting member 170 is smaller than the height of the spacer 300; the position-limiting part 170 partially falls into the fixing part 160, and has a gap with both sides of the fixing part 160; after the curved display panel 100 is bent, two sides of the fixing member 160 are respectively abutted against the limiting members 170.
In the present application, the position of the first substrate 110 is provided with the position-limiting member 170, the position of the second substrate 120 corresponding to the position-limiting member 170 is provided with the fixing member 160, when the first substrate 110 and the second substrate 120 are aligned, the position-limiting member 170 on the first substrate 110 partially falls into the fixing member 160 of the second substrate 120, and in the planar state of the display panel, the position-limiting member 170 and the fixing member 160 have a gap therebetween, which is not in contact with each other, because the second substrate 120 is bent towards the first substrate 110 during the bending process of the display panel, the two sides of the fixing member 160 approach towards the two sides of the position-limiting member 170 along the bending direction of the second substrate 120, and the two sides of the fixing member 160 do not contact with the position-limiting member 170 during the initial state, a bending space of the curved display panel 100 is reserved, and the two sides of the fixing member 170 do not hinder the bending of the display panel during the process of approaching the position-limiting member 170, the curved-surface display panel 100 can start to bend normally, after the curved-surface display panel 100 bends to a preset angle, two sides of the fixing member 160 abut against the limiting member 170, limiting of the limiting member 170 is formed from two sides of the limiting member 170, the limiting member 170 is prevented from moving, and light leakage between two substrates caused by excessive dislocation of the two substrates can be prevented without hindering the bending of the curved-surface display panel 100.
Simultaneously, different with the sheltering from area that directly increases the shielding layer, this application adopts to set up spacing module 150 between two base plates of curved surface display panel 100 to the position that spacing module 150 set up is located the not luminous region of curved surface display panel 100, and this makes spacing module 150 can not shelter from the light that is sent by backlight unit 200, can prevent the dislocation light leak between two base plates under the condition of not sacrificing the aperture opening ratio.
In addition, in the present application, the height of the limiting member 170 is smaller than the height of the spacer 300, so that when the flat display panel is designed in a state, the spacer 300 firstly abuts between the first substrate 110 and the second substrate 120 to play a certain supporting role, and at this time, the limiting member 170 does not contact with the second substrate 120, and when the flat display panel is bent to form the curved display panel 100, the limiting member 170 does not block the bending between the first substrate 110 and the second substrate 120, and the formation of the curved display panel 100 is not affected. When the curved-surface display panel 100 is subjected to an external force or a pressure test, the first substrate 110 is subjected to the external force to enable the limiting member 170 on the first substrate 110 to gradually approach the second substrate 120, and under the continuous external force, the limiting member 170 abuts against the second substrate 120 to serve as an auxiliary support for the first substrate 110 and the second substrate 120, so that the curved-surface display panel 100 is prevented from being damaged or uneven in box thickness, and the structural strength of the curved-surface display panel 100 is enhanced.
In this application, the distance of mounting 160 both sides can be according to the angle setting that curved surface display panel 100 actually is crooked, require curved surface display panel 100's bending angle great in production promptly, the distance of mounting 160 both sides is more far away, when curved surface display panel 100's bending angle is less, the distance of mounting 160 both sides can set up closely to satisfy curved surface display panel 100 and crooked to predetermine the angle after, the both sides of mounting 160 can just form the butt with locating part 170.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, the fixing member 160 includes a first fixing portion 161 and a second fixing portion 162, the first fixing portion 161 and the second fixing portion 162 are oppositely disposed on the second substrate 120 and have a gap, one end of the limiting member 170 is disposed on the first substrate 110, and the other end thereof falls into the gap, and the width of the gap is greater than that of the limiting member 170; after the curved display panel 100 is bent, the first fixing portion 161 and the second fixing portion 162 are respectively abutted against the limiting member 170.
In this embodiment, the fixing member 160 is composed of two parts, namely, a first fixing portion 161 and a second fixing portion 162, the first fixing portion 161 and the second fixing portion 162 are correspondingly disposed on the second substrate 120, one end of the limiting member 170 is fixed on the first substrate 110, and the other end falls into a gap between the first fixing portion 161 and the second fixing portion 162, that is, when the curved display panel 100 is in a planar state, the first fixing portion 161, the second fixing portion 162 and the limiting member 170 are not in contact with each other, when the curved display panel 100 is bent, the second substrate 120 is bent toward the first substrate 110, the first fixing portion 161 and the second fixing portion 162 on the second substrate 120 are respectively inclined toward two sides of the limiting member 170, but the first fixing portion 161 and the second fixing portion 162 do not hinder the bending of the curved display panel 100, and the curved display panel 100 can be smoothly bent to a predetermined angle, when the curved display panel 100 starts to bend, although the curved display panel 100 has different bending curvatures, the small-angle bending does not cause an obvious dislocation light leakage problem, when the curved display panel 100 is bent, the curved display panel 100 is at a large-angle bending, the first fixing portion 161 and the second fixing portion 162 are respectively abutted against the limiting portion 170 from two sides of the limiting portion 170, so that the limiting portion 170 can be limited, and the light leakage between the two substrates caused by excessive dislocation of the first substrate 110 and the second substrate 120 is prevented under the condition that the curved display panel 100 is not hindered from bending.
Further, the first fixing portion 161 and the second fixing portion 162 are disposed in a triangular shape after abutting against the limiting member 170, and the inclination angles of the first fixing portion 161, the second fixing portion 162 and the second substrate 120 are acute angles, and the angle range of the inclination angle is 30 ° to 60 °.
