The first support portion 301 and the second support portion 302 are both flat. The first supporting portion 301 and the second supporting portion 302 are respectively disposed corresponding to the two first non-bending regions 100b and respectively support portions of the flexible display panel 50 corresponding to the two first non-bending regions 100 b. The middle support portion 303 is disposed corresponding to the first bending region 100a and supports a portion of the flexible display panel 50 corresponding to the first bending region 100a, the middle support portion 303 has a first edge 303a and a second edge 303b disposed opposite to each other, the first edge 303a and the second edge 303b extend in a direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100b, the plurality of notches 30a are distributed on at least one of the first edge 303a and the second edge 303b of the middle support portion 303, and a depth of the plurality of notches 30a in a thickness direction of the support member 30 is less than or equal to a thickness of the support member 30.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 5, in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the first bending region 100a points toward the first non-bending region 100b, i.e., in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the intermediate support 303 points toward the first support 301 or the second support 302, the size of the notch 30a is equal to the size of the intermediate support 303, that is, the notch 30a extends from the first edge 303a to the second edge 303b of the intermediate support 303; the depth of the plurality of notches 30a in the thickness direction of the support 30 is equal to the thickness of the support 30. The middle support portion 303 includes a plurality of support bars 3031, the support bars 3031 are disconnected from each other, the support bars 3031 and the gaps 30a are alternately disposed in a direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100b, and the support bars 3031 of the middle support portion 303 are all adhered to the first adhesive layer 801.
As shown in fig. 5, when the flexible display device 100 is in the flattened state, a dimension w2 of the notch 30a in a direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100b is smaller than a dimension w1 of the supporting bar 3031, so that the middle supporting portion 303 has good flexibility, and at the same time, functions to support a portion of the flexible display panel 50 corresponding to the first bending region 100 a. The plurality of supporting bars 3031 have the same size in the direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100b, and the plurality of notches 30a have the same size in the direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100 b. It is understood that the plurality of supporting bars 3031 may have different sizes in the direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100b, and the plurality of notches 30a may have different sizes in the direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100 b.
Specifically, the support strip 3031 has a dimension in the direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100b of 0.1 mm to 2 mm, such as 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.8 mm, 2 mm. When the flexible display device 100 is in the flattened state, the size of the notch 30a in the direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100b is 0.1 mm to 0.7 mm, such as 0.15 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm, and 0.5 mm.
As shown in fig. 4, when the flexible display device 100 is in the folded state, the distance d between two adjacent support bars 3031 is greater than 0 mm to avoid interference between the plurality of support bars 3031 of the middle support 303 in the folded state. When the flexible display device 100 is in a folded state, a distance between two adjacent support bars 3031 is less than or equal to 0.5 mm, so as to ensure that the plurality of support bars 3031 support a portion of the flexible display panel 50 corresponding to the first bending region 100 a. The folding angle of the flexible display device 100 in the folded state is greater than 0 degree, and may be 10 degrees, 20 degrees, 30 degrees, 40 degrees, 50 degrees, 60 degrees, 70 degrees, 80 degrees, 90 degrees, or 90 degrees or more. Specifically, the flexible display device 100 in the folded state is in a fully folded state. In addition, the flexible display device 100 in the folded state may be U-folded, wedge-folded, or water drop-folded.
It should be noted that, under the condition that the bending radius of the flexible display device 100 is constant, when the flexible display device 100 is in the flat state, the dimension of the notch 30a in the direction in which the first bending region 100a points to the first non-bending region 100b needs to be designed in consideration of the etching precision of the notch 30a, the attaching precision of the supporting member 30, the displacement of the first adhesive layer 801, and the distance between two adjacent supporting bars 3031 when the flexible display device 100 is in the bending state.
The middle support portion 303 of the supporting member 30 in this embodiment is composed of a plurality of support bars 3031 that are disconnected from each other, gaps 30a are formed between two adjacent support bars 3031, between the support bar 3031 near the first support portion 301 and the first support portion 301, and between the support bar 3031 near the second support portion 302 and the second support portion 302, when the supporting member 30 is adhered to the back surface of the flexible display panel 50 through the first adhesive layer 801 under a vacuum condition, air in the gaps 30a is exhausted, no bulge occurs between the first adhesive layer 801 and the supporting member 30, and the flexible display panel 50 can be smoothly adhered to the supporting member 30.
It should be noted that, after the supporting member 30 is attached to the buffer layer 40 through the first adhesive layer 801, the buffer layer 40 is attached to the back surface of the flexible display panel 50 through the second adhesive layer 802 under a vacuum condition, so as to attach the supporting member 30 to the back side of the flexible display panel 50.
Fig. 6 is a schematic plan view of a support member of a flexible display device according to another embodiment of the present application. The middle support 303 has a comb shape, and the middle support 303 includes a middle connection portion 3032 and a plurality of bar members 3033 connected to opposite sides of the middle connection portion 3032. The plurality of notches include a plurality of first notches 30a1 and a plurality of second notches 30a2, the first notch 30a1 is disposed on the first edge 303a, the second notch 30a2 is disposed on the second edge 303b, the second notches 30a2 and the first notches 30a1 are symmetrically disposed, the bar members 3033 and the first notches 30a1 close to the first edge 303a are alternately disposed, and the bar members 3033 and the second notches 30a2 close to the second edge 303b are alternately disposed. No groove or opening is provided between the first notch 30a1 and the second notch 30a2 symmetrically disposed with respect to the first notch 30a1, that is, no groove or opening is provided on the intermediate connecting portion 3032, thereby preventing air from being unable to be discharged during vacuum bonding due to a closed space formed on the intermediate support portion 303. The first notch 30a1 and the second notch 30a2 are the same, the depth of the first notch 30a1 and the depth of the second notch 30a2 in the thickness direction of the supporting member 30 are equal to the thickness of the supporting member 30, and the first notch 30a1 and the second notch 30a2 are both U-shaped notches. It is understood that the first notch 30a1 and the second notch 30a2 can be rectangular notches.
When the supporting member 30 shown in fig. 6 is attached to the back surface of the flexible display panel 50 through the first adhesive layer 801 under a vacuum condition, since the first notch 30a1 and the second notch 30a2 are both open-type openings, air in the first notch 30a1 and the second notch 30a2 can be exhausted, so that a bulge is prevented from being formed between the supporting member 30 and the first adhesive layer 801.
In the present embodiment, the protection layer 20 is disposed at least on the surface of the middle support 303 away from the flexible display panel 50 to prevent dust from entering the notch 30a of the middle support 303. Specifically, the protection layer 20 covers the surface of the support 30 away from the flexible display panel 50. The protective layer 20 is an adhesive tape, and the surface of the protective layer 20 in contact with the intermediate support 303 has adhesiveness.

When the support 30 is attached to the flexible display panel 50, the second protection film 902 is removed, the support 30 is attached to the back side of the flexible display panel 50 through the first adhesive layer 801 under a vacuum condition, and the first protection film 901 is removed after the support 30 is adhered to the back side of the flexible display panel 50 through the first adhesive layer 801.

a support member located at a back side of a light emitting side of the flexible display panel, the support member comprising:
the middle supporting part is arranged corresponding to the first bending area, the middle supporting part is provided with a first edge and a second edge which are oppositely arranged, and the first edge and the second edge extend in the direction of the first bending area pointing to the first non-bending area; and
a plurality of notches distributed on at least one of the first edge and the second edge of the intermediate support portion.
2. The flexible display device according to claim 1, wherein a dimension of the gap is equal to a dimension of the intermediate support in a direction perpendicular to the first bending region pointing to the first non-bending region;
the middle support part comprises a plurality of support bars;
