Description

Method for calculating true value and background value of well gas logging
Technical Field
The invention relates to a method for calculating a true value and a background value of a drilling gas survey, belonging to the technical field of petroleum and natural gas exploration and development.
Background
In the process of petroleum drilling, when an oil-gas layer is opened, oil gas enters drilling fluid through permeation and diffusion effects, then the drilling fluid is carried to the ground for detection, the content of all hydrocarbon and each component gas is detected by using gas analysis equipment, the oil-gas-containing information of a stratum can be reflected, the oil-gas-containing information is used for discovering and evaluating underground oil gas display, the detected component gas generally comprises methane C1Ethane C2Propane C3Butane C4Pentane C5. However, the relationship between the total hydrocarbon number and the components has not been agreed upon. From the isocarbon response, the total hydrocarbon value TG is approximately in accordance with the following equation:
TG=C1+2C2+3C3+4C4+5C5
however, in practical application, it is found through a gas measurement data table that after the above addition correction, each component value sometimes has a large error with the measured total hydrocarbon value. The total hydrocarbon number is not simply the algebraic sum of the volume fraction values of the individual components and should be given by a certain factor.
The actual full hydrocarbon gas measurement value in the drilling process is a combination of multiple gases and can be basically divided into two parts: one is the bit-broken gas, which is the true value of gas logging in the drilling process, i.e. the gas logging reflecting the oil-gas condition of the formation; another type is background values that need to be removed from the field survey values. The measured gas value measured on site is substantially the result of the superposition of the real gas value and the background value. Under the interference of the gas measurement background value, the gas measurement value measured in the drilling site can not objectively reflect the oil-gas containing condition of the stratum and should be removed.
The gas measurement background value is a combination of a plurality of gases and basically comprises the following three parts: firstly, gas in the circulating drilling fluid returns to the ground, and after passing through a purification and solid control circulating system, the gas in the drilling fluid does not completely escape and reenters a shaft to be mixed with broken gas of a drill bit to form background gas of a gas measurement value, and the value is influenced by factors such as the performance of the drilling fluid, drilling fluid solid control equipment and the like; secondly, a large amount of hydrocarbon source rocks exist in the stratum at the upper part of the drilled well hole, or the drilled reservoir stratum exists, and because the shaft of the drilled reservoir stratum has a plurality of pressure systems, the stratum gas enters the shaft under the action of differential pressure; and thirdly, the drilling fluid additive is cracked under the action of high temperature and high pressure at the bottom of the well, a certain amount of hydrocarbon gas can be generated, and if more organic treating agents are added, a higher background value can be generated.
The above three parts all have the possibility of generating background gas which has no obvious difference in composition from the drill bit crushing gas. Therefore, the subtraction of the background value of the gasometry is very difficult. For the processing of the gas measurement background value, a method for roughly processing gas measurement data by using a base value deduction method is proposed, but for most wells, the influence of the background value is complex and difficult to determine, and the difficulty of using the base value deduction method is high.
