Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be described clearly below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments that can be derived by one of ordinary skill in the art from the embodiments given herein are intended to be within the scope of the present disclosure.
The terms first, second and the like in the description and in the claims of the present application are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It will be appreciated that the data so used may be interchanged under appropriate circumstances such that embodiments of the application may be practiced in sequences other than those illustrated or described herein, and that the terms "first," "second," and the like are generally used herein in a generic sense and do not limit the number of terms, e.g., the first term can be one or more than one. In addition, "and/or" in the specification and claims means at least one of connected objects, a character "/" generally means that a preceding and succeeding related objects are in an "or" relationship.
The message display method provided by the embodiment of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings through specific embodiments and application scenarios thereof.
As shown in fig. 4, the message display method provided in the embodiment of the present application includes the following steps:
step 101, a first input is received.
The first input is an input indicating that a chat page with the target contact is displayed. The first input may be based on a designated operation received by the input unit, for example, a user enters an address book on a mobile phone and clicks a target contact, or after the user opens a certain software on a computer, the user clicks a chat thumbnail frame of the target contact in a recent chat list in which the chat thumbnail frames of a plurality of contacts are displayed by a mouse, so as to enter a chat page with the target contact, and so on. The present application is not limited to the specific manner of the first input.
Step 102, responding to the first input, displaying a chat page with the target contact.
The target contact may be a single contact or may be a chat group including multiple contacts. The chat page may include an area for displaying received chat messages and an area for editing and sending messages.
The chat message may be an Instant Message (IM) message, even though messaging refers to a service capable of instantly sending and receiving an internet message and the like, and the instant message is a message transmitted and received based on an instant messaging technology.
The chat messages with the target contact may include historical chat messages that were read prior to opening the chat page, or may include chat messages that were unread prior to opening the chat page. In an implementation manner, the setting may be determined according to a setting of a platform providing the chat service and/or according to a personalized setting of the user, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present application.
The chat page includes a first aggregated message. The first aggregated message is used to replace a plurality of chat messages having similar or identical semantics in the chat message with the target contact. The plurality of chat messages is at least two chat messages. The replacement means that the plurality of chat messages with similar or same semantics are canceled and displayed in the chat page, and the first aggregated message is displayed, that is, the plurality of chat messages are integrated and displayed into one aggregated message, so that the area occupied by the plurality of chat messages in the chat page can be reduced, the phenomenon that a user needs to scroll through a large amount of same or similar messages in the chat page and is not provided with more useful information is avoided, and the efficiency of the user is improved.
The first aggregated message is used to represent the semantics of the plurality of chat messages, that is, the semantics of the first message and the plurality of chat messages are the same or similar.
Before the first aggregated message is displayed in the chat page, chat messages with the same or similar semantics need to be found in the chat messages with the target contact. In one example, semantics in each chat message with the target contact person may be extracted, and then the chat messages with the target contact person are grouped according to the semantics to obtain at least one message group, where each message group corresponds to one aggregated message, and the aggregated message includes the first aggregated message. Thus, the conditions grouped into the same message group include at least having similar or identical semantics.
Illustratively, for the chat page shown in fig. 3, since the chat content involves a plurality of chat messages with different and dissimilar semantics, the chat content can be divided into different message groups, each message group is displayed by one aggregated message, a schematic diagram of a display is shown in fig. 7, three aggregated messages are displayed, and a control on the right side ("click to view details") can be clicked to expand all messages in the message group corresponding to each aggregated message.
In extracting semantics, an optional implementation manner is that natural language processing may be performed on chat messages to extract semantic features in each chat message. Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a Language-oriented process that analyzes, understands, and processes Natural Language using computer technology.
The steps of natural language processing may include text preprocessing and text feature extraction. Text preprocessing may include word segmentation of the text. The text feature extraction is a process of extracting features of the preprocessed text based on the constructed classification model. The classification model used in the natural language processing may be a conventional machine learning method, such as a common NB model, a random forest model, a support vector machine classification model, or may also be a deep learning text classification model, such as a fastText model, a TextCNN model, and the like, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
Optionally, in the case that the chat message includes an unnatural language such as an emoticon, before the text preprocessing, the emoticon may be further converted into a corresponding natural language text according to a preset correspondence dictionary between the emoticon and the natural language, for example, happy, difficult, received, praised, and the like, so as to perform natural language analysis.
Two chat messages are considered to have the same or similar semantics if they have the same or similar semantic characteristics. In one example, a classification model for natural language processing may be trained to identify whether several preset semantic features are included in a message. Alternatively, a chat message may be identified that includes more than one semantic feature, and the chat message may be divided into message groups corresponding to the semantic features.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, the chat messages divided into the same message group may further set a condition that the receiving time difference of the chat messages is within a preset range. For example, the chat messages of the same message group may be messages received within a preset period of time, for example, messages within one month. Alternatively, the chat messages may be sorted by time, and if the semantics of the first chat message are the same as or similar to the semantics of the second chat message received at the previous time, and the difference in the receiving time is within one day, the chat messages may be divided into the same message group. Therefore, the early history records can be prevented from being integrated and displayed, and the information is excessive and the content is old.
In an optional implementation manner provided by the embodiment of the present application, the chat page may further include a first control for expanding and displaying the plurality of chat messages having the same or similar semantics. If a second input from the user to the first control is received, a plurality of chat messages can be expanded and displayed in the chat page. Therefore, by providing the control for expanding the display, the user can conveniently expand and display each chat message replaced by the first aggregation message when needed.
For example, in the chat page shown in fig. 5, a first control 502 is displayed below the first aggregated message 501, and if the user clicks the control, the original message content of all chat messages replaced by the first aggregated message 501 can be expanded and displayed.
Optionally, when the target contact is a contact group including a plurality of contacts, and the first aggregated message is displayed in the chat page, displaying an identity of at least part of the sending contact which sends the plurality of chat messages may be further included. For example, the contacts 'avatars may be displayed and the contacts' avatars may be displayed in thumbnail fashion alongside the text content of the first aggregated message, as illustrated in FIG. 5.
Optionally, the number of people of all the sending contacts in the first aggregated message may also be counted and displayed, as shown in fig. 5, a specific number of people is included in the text content of the first control 502, so that the user can conveniently view the number counting situation.
For example, for the chat pages shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, the chat pages after aggregated display may be respectively as shown in fig. 5 and fig. 6, and chat messages with the same or similar semantics and repeated contents are grouped and summarized and integrated into one aggregated message display, so that the user can obtain key information on the chat pages, and if the user wants to view reply details of the original message, the user can click a text (control) below the aggregated message, that is, enter the original chat record to view details of all replaced chat messages, without affecting normal use of the chat function. Besides the aggregated message (on the left), a set of head images of all the contacts replying to the semantic message is also displayed, so that the user can conveniently view the condition of the replied contacts.
According to the message display method provided by the embodiment of the application, when the chat page with the target contact is triggered and displayed by the first input, the plurality of chat messages with the same or similar semantics in the chat message with the target contact are replaced by the first aggregation message in the chat page, the chat messages with the same or similar semantics can be aggregated into one aggregation message to be displayed, and the first aggregation message is used for representing the semantics of the plurality of chat messages, so that the user can conveniently view the semantics of the plurality of chat messages, the energy of the user in browsing a large number of similar content messages is reduced, the problem of low information acquisition efficiency caused by a message display method in the related technology is solved, and the message viewing efficiency of the user is effectively improved.
Optionally, in the message display method provided in the embodiment of the present application, after extracting semantics from each chat message of the target contact, if a first chat message related to the first event exists in the chat messages of the target contact, the chat messages related to the first event may be searched in the chat records to obtain related messages. Here, the chat log may be a chat log with a target contact, a chat log with an owner, or a chat log with a contact group set in advance by the user. And further, displaying the searched related message in a preset area associated with the first chat message in the chat page of the target contact. The associated predetermined area may be an area in the vicinity of the first chat message, for example, listing each of the searched related messages below the first chat message.
Alternatively, each related message may only display the content summary, for example, extract a part of text content or semantic meaning therein for display.
Optionally, the identity of the sending contact, e.g., avatar/nickname, etc., of each related message may also be displayed.
Optionally, a second control may be displayed for each related message, and one second control is correspondingly displayed for each related message, so that if a third input to any one of the second controls is received, the complete message content of the related message corresponding to the second control may be displayed in response to the third input. Optionally, the complete message content of the related message corresponding to the second control is displayed in the chat page of the current target contact, or the chat page of the corresponding contact sending the related message is jumped to, and the complete message content is displayed at the position positioned to the related message, so that the user can conveniently view the context of the related message. The sending contact of the related message may be the target contact or other contacts besides the target contact, and each contact may be a specific contact or a contact group including a plurality of contacts.
Illustratively, an interface diagram for displaying related search results is shown in fig. 8, where a first chat message 801 refers to a first item (xxx item), three related messages are searched for in the chat records of all contacts, content summaries are listed below the first chat message 801 respectively, corresponding controls are displayed on the right side of each related message content summary, and the complete message content of the corresponding related message can be viewed after clicking.
In the related art, if a user chats with a contact person, and if the user chats that certain information is to be searched in a chat record, the user needs to quit the current chat page, search key information in a search box, and view the related chat record. This search mode is complicated to operate. Through the optional implementation mode, the related messages can be directly displayed in the chat page, and the complicated operation steps that the user exits the current chat page, searches through the search box and returns to the previous chat page are simplified.
