The cement in the inorganic material is one of the materials which are frequently added and used for improving the water resistance of the gypsum, the generated hydrated calcium silicate and hydrated calcium aluminate are used for filling the pores of the gypsum to improve the compactness, so that the strength and the water resistance of the gypsum are improved, but the excessive volume expansion of the hydrated calcium sulphoaluminate generated by the reaction of the cement and the gypsum can cause the cracking of a product. The compression softening coefficient of the gypsum product is calculated by using the desulfurized building gypsum prepared in the example 2 according to the method for calculating the softening coefficient of the JCT 698-2010 gypsum block, and the desulfurized building gypsum prepared in the example 2 is measured to be 0.86.
According to the data, the desulfurized building gypsum prepared by the method has good mechanical properties, meets the daily use requirement of the gypsum, and has practical use value and economic benefit.
