Principle of operation
When the fire-fighting water pipe and the fire hydrant are connected, the connectors of the fire-fighting water pipe and the fire hydrant are required to be aligned firstly, the connecting buckles 15 on the connectors of the fire-fighting water pipe and the fire hydrant are staggered and extend into the right sides of the connecting buckles 15 of the connectors of the opposite side respectively, then the connectors of the fire-fighting water pipe are rotated clockwise, at the moment, as the protrusions of the connecting buckles 15 extend into the lower parts of 18 and are propped against one side of the sliding screw block 19, the sliding screw block 19 is pushed into one side by the rotating connecting buckles 15, and the screw ring 22 connected with the sliding screw block 19 and extending out of the connector sleeve 10 moves simultaneously;
the reinforced hook 16 which is obliquely meshed and connected with the spiral ring 22 sinks under the action of the hook thread 21, and the fire-fighting water pipe and the fire hydrant connector are gradually meshed to ensure that the gap at the interface of the fire-fighting water pipe and the fire hydrant connector is reduced as much as possible, so that the condition that the water leakage at the interface is caused by the fact that the connector is not rotated in place at the interface, and the fire-fighting water pressure is insufficient is avoided as much as possible;
