Abstract

本发明涉及一种减少UE在EMM空闲模式和EMM注册状态下发起的LPP和LCS程序的NAS信令的方法。所公开的方法涉及将LPP/LCS消息封装到控制平面服务请求中的多种方法。这使得UE与eNB在RRC连接建立过程期间传输LPP/LCS消息成为可能,并且可以被视为控制平面EPS CIoT优化的扩展。
