Description

Paint remover and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of metal material surface treatment, in particular to a paint remover and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The electrostatic powder spraying process is that the electrostatic powder spray gun sprays paint to make the dispersed powder particles have negative charge, the charged powder particles are coated on the grounded coated object under the action of other acting force such as air flow or centrifugal force and electrostatic attraction, and then the grounded coated object is heated, melted and solidified into a film. The electrostatic powder spraying process is mainly applied to metal surface coating. The film-forming resin used for such electrostatic powder coatings is typically a polyester resin. Before electrostatic powder spraying, in order to prevent fingerprint sweat and other pollution of operators from remaining on the surface of the metal part in the production and processing process, a layer of organic resin film with a fingerprint-resistant function is coated on the surface of the metal part. The main resin adopted by the fingerprint-resistant resin film is generally polyurethane acrylic resin, has certain functions of static electricity resistance, corrosion resistance, lubricity improvement during forming and the like besides the fingerprint resistance function, and can be used as an adhesion bottom layer for subsequent coating. Therefore, manufacturers always want to remove the electrostatic powder coating layer and leave the complete fingerprint-resistant resin film when the electrostatic powder coating defective product is subjected to a paint removal process. Therefore, the ideal stripper should remove only the electrostatic powder coating without damaging the fingerprint resistant resin film.
However, the conventional paint remover is not satisfactory in paint removal effect, or damages the fingerprint-resistant resin film while removing the paint, increasing the cost of rework or scrap. Paint strippers generally include acid strippers (e.g., strong acids, weak acids), peroxide strippers (e.g., hydrogen peroxide, etc.), inorganic base strippers (e.g., sodium hydroxide, etc.), and conventional neutral strippers (e.g., ketones, ethers, alcohols, halogenated hydrocarbons, etc.). Wherein, the acid paint remover, the peroxide paint remover and the inorganic alkali paint remover have high-efficiency removing effect on the electrostatic powder coating, but can also corrode the fingerprint-resistant resin film; the traditional neutral paint remover generally adopts halogenated hydrocarbons such as dichloromethane and the like, has poor removing effect on electrostatic powder coatings, cannot completely remove the electrostatic powder coatings even for a long time, and has high volatility, high toxicity, serious environmental pollution and great harm to the bodies of operators.
Therefore, the research of the prior paint remover focuses on and difficulties in providing a paint remover which only removes the electrostatic powder coating without damaging the fingerprint-resistant resin film and a preparation method thereof.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the defects in the prior art, and on one hand, the invention provides the paint remover which only removes the polyester resin electrostatic powder coating without damaging the polyurethane acrylic resin fingerprint-resistant resin film and has high-efficiency paint removing effect; in another aspect, a method for preparing the paint remover is provided.
The purpose of the invention is realized by the following technical scheme:
the paint remover comprises the following components in parts by mass: 80-120 parts of an alcohol main solvent, 40-60 parts of an amine active agent, 10-15 parts of a volatile inhibitor and 5-10 parts of a thickening agent.
In one embodiment, the paint remover comprises the following components in parts by mass: 100 parts of alcohol main solvent, 50 parts of amine activator, 12.5 parts of volatile inhibitor and 7.5 parts of thickener.
In one embodiment, the alcoholic primary solvent comprises at least one of methylal diethanol, acetal dimethanol, tetramethyldipentanol, and pentaerythritol.

In one embodiment, the propellant suppressant comprises at least one of benzyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, and polyethylene glycol.
In one embodiment, the thickening agent comprises at least one of polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyacrylamide, hydroxyethylcellulose, polyethylene oxide, and polyvinyl alcohol.
The preparation method of the paint remover comprises the following steps:
mixing part of an alcohol main solvent and an amine active agent to obtain a first mixture;
step two, adding the first mixture into the residual alcohol main solvent at normal temperature and normal pressure for dissolving operation to obtain a second mixture;
and step three, adding a volatile inhibitor and a thickening agent into the second mixture, and uniformly stirring to obtain the paint remover.
In one embodiment, in the first step, the mass ratio of the alcohol main solvent to the amine activator is (70-90): (40-60).
In one embodiment, in the second step, the mass ratio of the alcohol main solvent to the first mixture is (10-30): (110-150).
Compared with the prior art, the invention has at least the following advantages:
(1) the paint remover disclosed by the invention does not contain halogen and heavy metal elements, is less harmful to human bodies and environment, and is lower in toxicity and more environment-friendly; in addition, the use is convenient, the condition is mild, and the soaking is carried out at normal temperature and normal pressure.
(2) The paint remover is tailored for metal parts with polyester resin electrostatic powder coatings and polyurethane acrylic resin fingerprint-resistant resin films, and by utilizing different characteristic principles of different resins, a paint removing system consisting of alcohols and amines only reacts on the polyester resin and does not react with the polyurethane acrylic resin, so that the electrostatic powder coatings are corroded and dissolved without damaging the fingerprint-resistant resin films.
(3) The paint remover disclosed by the invention adopts alcohols as a main solvent to replace common halogenated hydrocarbons such as dichloromethane and the like, amines as an activating agent, and an inhibiting volatile agent and a thickening agent as auxiliary materials, so that the paint remover has the advantages of high paint removing speed and better effect under the synergistic action, is suitable for metal pieces such as zinc alloy pieces, zinc-plated pieces, iron pieces, stainless steel pieces, section aluminum pieces, magnesium alloy pieces and the like, and can effectively solve the problem of removing electrostatic powder coatings; the problem of metal part corrosion can be effectively avoided; and a thin and uniform protective film is generated on the stamping trimming and exposed parts of the metal piece, and the protective film can be used for corrosion prevention and rust prevention and can also enhance the adhesive force when the metal piece is sprayed again.

Detailed Description
The present invention may be embodied in many different forms and is not limited to the embodiments described herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete.
The components of the paint strippers of examples 1 to 5 in parts by mass are shown in table 1.
TABLE 1 ingredient tables of paint strippers of examples 1 to 5
Figure BDA0003240007640000041
Referring to fig. 1, the formulations in table 1 were prepared according to the following steps:
s110, mixing part of the main alcohol solvent and the amine activator to obtain a first mixture; in the step S110, the mass ratio of the alcohol main solvent to the amine activator is (70-90): (40-60).
S120, adding the first mixture into the residual alcohol main solvent at normal temperature and normal pressure to perform dissolving operation to obtain a second mixture; in the step S120, the mass ratio of the alcohol main solvent to the first mixture is (10-30): (110-150).
And S130, adding the suppression volatile agent and the thickening agent into the second mixture in sequence, and uniformly stirring to obtain the paint remover.
In examples 1 to 5, the paint remover of each example was used to paint off metal parts made of different materials, which were provided with a polyester resin-based electrostatic powder coating and a urethane acrylic resin-based fingerprint-resistant resin film, and the electrostatic powder coating was efficiently dissolved and removed from the painted metal parts without causing corrosion of the fingerprint-resistant resin film, as shown in fig. 2 to 4. Moreover, the metal piece after paint removal treatment can reach the indoor medium corrosion prevention F1 grade; under the common storage condition, other rust prevention measures are not needed, and the metal piece can be kept free of rusting for 5-7 days; the electrostatic powder coating is sprayed again according to the same process, and the adhesion force reaches ISO class 0 grade or ASTM class 5B grade.
The paint removing effect of example 3 on the polyester resin electrostatic powder coatings with different film thicknesses of metal pieces made of different materials is shown in table 2.
Table 2 table of the paint removing effect of example 3 on electrostatic powder coating with different film thickness of metal piece of different material
Figure BDA0003240007640000051
As can be seen from Table 2, the paint remover of the invention has the characteristics of rapid paint removal and excellent effect on the electrostatic powder coatings of metal pieces made of different materials, is suitable for the metal pieces such as zinc alloy pieces, galvanized pieces, iron pieces, stainless steel pieces, section aluminum pieces, magnesium alloy pieces and the like, and can effectively solve the problem of removing the electrostatic powder coatings of the metal pieces.
The paint removing effect of each paint remover in comparative examples 3 to 5 on polyester resin electrostatic powder coatings and polyurethane acrylic resin fingerprint-resistant resin films needs to be illustrated in table 3, and in order to show the comparative effect, only galvanized parts with coating thicknesses of 81 to 100 μm are selected, and the test results are shown in table 3.
TABLE 3 tables of the effect of stripping for each of the strippers of examples 3 to 5
Figure BDA0003240007640000061
As can be seen from Table 3, (1) compared with the conventional alcohols (i.e., example 4), the paint removing system composed of acetal alcohols (i.e., example 3) and amines can remove the paint from the electrostatic powder coating of polyester resin more quickly. (2) Compared with single alcohols (example 3 or example 4), the composite alcohols (example 5) can obviously increase the paint removing speed of the paint removing system consisting of the composite alcohols and amines to the electrostatic powder coating of polyester resin by the synergistic effect of different alcohols.
The components of the paint strippers of example 3 and comparative examples 1 to 5 in parts by mass are shown in table 1.
TABLE 4 composition table of parts by mass included in the paint strippers of example 3, comparative examples 1 to 5
Figure BDA0003240007640000062
The preparation methods of the paint removers of comparative examples 1 to 5 are the same as those of example 3, and are not described again.
In comparison with the paint removing effects of the paint removing agents in example 3 and comparative examples 1 to 5 on the polyester resin electrostatic powder coating and the polyurethane acrylic resin fingerprint-resistant resin film, it should be noted that in table 5, only the galvanized part with the coating thickness of 81 to 100 μm is selected for obvious comparison, and the test results are shown in table 5.
TABLE 5 paint-stripping Effect of each of the paint-stripping agents of example 3, comparative example 1 to comparative example 5
Figure BDA0003240007640000071
As can be seen from table 5, the (1) inorganic bases (i.e., comparative example 1) are more corrosive than the amines, and corrode both the polyester resin-based electrostatic powder coating and the urethane acrylic resin-based fingerprint-resistant resin film.
(2) Compared with acetal alcohols (namely example 3), the paint removing system consisting of ethers (namely comparative example 2) and amines has obviously reduced paint removing speed on the electrostatic powder coating of polyester resins, and the paint removing effect is poor.
(3) The ratio of acetal alcohol to amine can affect the paint removing effect of the paint removing system on the polyester resin electrostatic powder coating, if the content of amine is too low (namely, a comparative example 3), the paint removing speed of the polyester resin electrostatic powder coating can be obviously reduced; if the amine content is too large (i.e., comparative example 4), there is no significant change in the paint removal rate of the polyester resin based electrostatic powder coating, but slight corrosion of the urethane acrylic resin based fingerprint resistant resin film may be caused. Therefore, the acetal alcohol and the amine can exert a synergistic effect only under a specific proportion to achieve an ideal paint removing effect.
(4) The suppression propellant and thickener (i.e., comparative example 5) do not have a paint-stripping function (i.e., corrosion function) per se, but they may affect the paint-stripping effect of the paint-stripping system on the electrostatic powder coating of polyester resin type by affecting the extent to which the paint-stripping system composed of acetal alcohol and amine exerts the paint-stripping effect. Namely, the volatile agent and the thickening agent are inhibited from interacting with acetal alcohol and amine, and the better paint removing effect is synergistically exerted.
Moreover, the inventors have found that, in the absence of a paint stripper that suppresses volatiles and thickeners (i.e., comparative example 5), corrosion resistance, rust resistance and adhesion of the painted metal part are reduced.
The above-mentioned embodiments only express several embodiments of the present invention, and the description thereof is more specific and detailed, but not construed as limiting the scope of the invention. It should be noted that, for a person skilled in the art, several variations and modifications can be made without departing from the inventive concept, which falls within the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present patent shall be subject to the appended claims.
