Description

Plate-closing type invisible appliance and correcting system thereof
Technical Field
The application relates to the field of dental correction, in particular to a plywood type invisible correction device and a correction system thereof.
Background
With further improvements in orthodontic techniques, more and more patients choose to achieve good tooth alignment, bite adjustment, and facial morphology changes through correction; and more adult patients are enrolled in the correction army. However, orthodontists find that many patients experience problems with temporomandibular joint and even maxillofacial pain prior to, or during, correction. Such as joint ringing, pain, difficulty in opening the mouth, and even orofacial pain. After examination, it was found that the patients had a shift in the articular disc of the temporomandibular joint, a change in the aggressiveness of the bone tissue on the surface of the condyle, a change in position, severe abrasion of teeth, etc., and such patients were in serious need of alleviation and treatment of joint problems before or during orthodontic treatment.
The treatment mode adopted at present is to put the patient on the shelf and then make the plywood treatment. The time is usually about 6-24 months. In connection with recent reports, the total dentition bite plates can be classified into a hard bite plate, a soft bite plate, and a fluid bite plate according to materials. The rigid bite plate is made of polypropylene material, and the bite surface is not deformable, so that the rigid bite plate is the most commonly used one. There is no clear concept for "soft bite plates" at present, but most of the "soft" or "elastic" bite plates mentioned in the research are made of transparent film-pressing materials with a thickness of 1mm to 2mm. There are studies comparing different types of bite plates in the treatment of bruxism, temporomandibular joint disorder ((Temporomandibular Disorders, TMD), and oromaxillofacial muscle pain, among which most results consider that the rigid bite plate is effective in the treatment of oral muscle tension problems such as bruxism and can effectively reduce abnormal electrical activity of masticatory muscles.
The inventor finds that no matter what kind of material is used for manufacturing the occlusion plate, teeth of a patient cannot be arranged during the treatment of the occlusion plate, and the correction time is seriously increased; in addition, for most patients with high occlusion points of the posterior teeth, the rapid depression of individual dental tips as soon as possible is helpful for the rapid solution of joint problems, but a simple jaw pad only plays a role in separating occlusion, and can not solve the problem of key teeth at the same time, thereby causing trouble to patients and medical staff.

Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this application belongs. The terminology used herein in the description of the application is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the application. The term "and/or" as used herein includes any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.
Referring to fig. 1-3, the present application discloses a rigid-plate invisible appliance, comprising:
the invisible correction membrane 1 is covered on the surface of the teeth and is used for applying correction force to the teeth;
the occlusion pad 2 is of an integrated structure with the invisible correction film 1 and is arranged on the occlusion surface of the invisible correction film 1, and the occlusion pad 2 is made of hard materials;
the invisible orthodontic diaphragm 1 comprises two molar areas 11 positioned on two sides and an incisor area 12 positioned in the middle, and the occlusal pad 2 is at least provided with two molar areas 11 which respectively correspond to the two molar areas.
The invisible orthodontic diaphragm 1 in the application specifically refers to an invisible appliance capable of realizing tooth arrangement correction. The specific technical scheme is that the occlusal pad 2 and the invisible correction membrane 1 are matched for use, so that the movement (such as simple alignment, arch expansion and the like) of the teeth of a patient is realized while the treatment of the plywood is performed, the correction time is greatly shortened, the operation feeling of medical staff is improved, and the treatment experience and the treatment effect of the patient are improved; second, this arrangement provides for earlier intervention to the downward shift of the high point of occlusion that causes joint problems, facilitating faster relief and treatment of joint problems caused by occlusion. In the applicable scene, the technical scheme provided by the application is suitable for patients without obvious maxillofacial pain and without pain as the main part of joint problems.
In this embodiment, the bite pad 2 is a hard material. The solid plywood has the advantage of being more definite in the effect of opening the occlusion. The retention mode is mainly a clamping ring type or a composite transparent pressed film retaining material type. In this embodiment, the bite pad 2 is implemented by compounding a hard material on the occlusal surface of the mandible or maxilla of the invisible orthodontic film 1. The doctor can adjust and grind the bite-block 2 according to the wearing condition of the patient. Thereby achieving synchronous tooth arrangement and plywood treatment. In particular dimensions, the bite pad 2 has a thickness of 2-6mm. In a specific product, the thickness of the bite pad 2 may be adjusted to 3-5 mm. The thickness of the bite-block 2 is generally 2-4mm depending on the patient's rest clearance, and in actual adjustment, the range of not exceeding the rest clearance is preferable. Compared with the bite pad with the thickness of 1mm to 2mm in the prior art, the larger initial thickness can realize larger height in the process of opening the bite vertical distance, and the defect that the application scene defect of a patient with normal coverage of posterior teeth can only be met in the prior art is avoided.
Notably, the invisible orthodontic film 1 of the present application is different from the anatomic bite plate of the prior art which has anatomic morphology on the surface. The surface of the anatomic occlusal plate in the prior art has anatomic form and is in meshed relation with the cusp locking knot of the involutory natural teeth. The invisible orthodontic film 1 of the present application can realize the movement of the teeth of the patient while realizing the positioning effect. After the patient brings the invisible appliance of the application, the correction of the dental position can be realized while the mismatch between the muscle position and the dental position is removed, and a proper functional occlusion relationship is provided for the patient.
The occlusion pads 2 are independently arranged and respectively correspond to the tooth grinding areas, and each occlusion pad 2 extends from the joint surface to the side surface of the invisible correction film 1. The whole occlusal pad 2 wraps the invisible correcting membrane 1 to a certain extent, so that the fixing effect is improved. In principle, the width of the bite pad 2 matches the width of the invisible-correction film 1. In a specific product, the width of the occlusal pad 2 should be close to the width of the invisible correcting film 1, so as to avoid foreign body sensation in the oral cavity of a patient. In one embodiment, the bite pad 2 is uniformly disposed in width. In another embodiment, the bite pad 2 continuously varies in its own direction of extension. In the latter embodiment, the bite block 2 can be configured to be wider at one end than the invisible correcting film 1 and narrower at the other end than the width of the invisible correcting film 1, thereby providing a more comfortable correcting feel.
On the matching details of the two, the section of the occluding pad 2 is U-shaped, the invisible correction membrane 1 is arranged in an opening of the U-shape and fixedly connected with the bottom of the U-shape, and two ends of the opening of the U-shape are attached to the side face of the invisible correction membrane 1. In the connection mode, the invisible correcting film 1 and the occluding pad 2 are formed separately and fixedly connected. The invisible correction film 1 and the occlusion pad 2 are fixedly connected in one or more of bonding, clamping and fusion. The specific mode of fusion connection can comprise a plurality of modes such as high-temperature fusion connection, ultrasonic fusion connection, intermediate material reinforcement fusion connection and the like.
In addition to the rigid bite block 2 arrangement, and referring to the embodiments of fig. 4-6, the present application discloses a fluid-filled, invisible appliance comprising:
the invisible correction membrane 1 is covered on the surface of the teeth and is used for applying correction force to the teeth;
the occlusion pad 2 is integrally structured with the invisible correction film 1 and is arranged on an occlusion surface of the invisible correction film 1, the surface of the occlusion pad 2 facing the invisible correction film 1 is a connecting surface 21, the surface facing away from the invisible correction film 1 is an adaptation surface 22, and the adaptation surface 22 can adjust the shape of the self in response to the change of occlusion force;
the invisible orthodontic diaphragm 1 comprises two molar areas 11 positioned on two sides and an incisor area 12 positioned in the middle, and the occlusal pad 2 is at least provided with two molar areas 11 which respectively correspond to the two molar areas.
The connecting surface 21 is used for realizing connection between the bite pad 2 and the invisible correcting film 1, and the adapting surface 22 can improve the bite feeling of the bite pad 2. The invisible orthodontic film 1 can be subjected to the reaction force of the teeth while being arranged, so that the restraint is realized. The connecting surface 21 can restrict the position of the occluding pad 2 through the invisible correcting membrane 1 when the connecting surface 21 is connected with the elastic sheet, so that the retention effect of the occluding pad 2 is improved, and the risk of poor retention effect and occluding deflection of the soft elastic plywood in the prior art is avoided. Multiple clinical experiments prove that the fluid type bite pad is similar to the hard bite pad in efficiency in treating facial muscle tension and pain and treating TMD, but has higher comfort level.
In particular, a rigid bite-block has the advantage of therapeutic efficiency and a fluid bite-block has the advantage of providing overall relief from bite stress distribution and comfort.
On the distribution of occlusal stress, according to the orthodontic RW theory and the research results of other researchers, the teeth and joints are in a 'enemy strong and weak' situation, namely, the risk of TMD is easily increased due to strong teeth at the moment, and serious abrasion, hidden cracks and periodontal wounds of the teeth are caused due to strong joints. Therefore, for a hard bite-pad, the medical staff needs to adjust and grind the bite-pad, and the bite-pad needs to be ground once in 2-4 weeks, so that the bite stress is gradually balanced.
In addition to the physiological sensation of the patient, the fluid bite pad has less effect on the patient's life and work. The fluid bite pad can reduce the impact of the treatment process, for example, when the patient needs to maintain accurate pronunciation capabilities during work and life (e.g., teacher, announcer, pilot, etc.).
Besides the conventional bite-block 2 made of an elastic material, a bite-block 2 of a fluid type may be used. In the embodiment shown with reference to fig. 5 to 6, the bite pad 2 comprises:
the adaptation shell 23 is connected with the invisible correction membrane 1 and can deform under the action of the meshing force;
a fluid interlayer 24 filled within the compliant housing 23 and responsive to the bite force.
Bite block 2 with fluidic layer 24 belongs to the class of fluid-based plates and can be used to treat joint diseases, facial, neck-shoulder muscle tone or pain. The biomechanical principle is based on fluid dynamics, and a flexible fluid layer is arranged on the occlusal layer of the plywood, and occlusal force of the posterior teeth is balanced by separating contact between the upper teeth and the lower teeth. The splint is a unique liquid system, and the lower jaw can spontaneously find its own position relative to the balance after being brought into the splint, so that the occlusion and the muscle relaxation and position of the body are harmonious. Studies have shown that fluid bonding plates are a new application of basic laws of physics, known as pascal's law, that prescribes that a closed fluid will exert an equalized fluid pressure, regardless of where such pressure is applied to the fluid. When the dentition of a patient applies an biting force to the bite pad 2, the liquid having fluidity inside uniformly distributes the biting force on the biting surface, reducing muscular pain and pressure of temporomandibular joint.
In particular embodiments, fluid interlayer 24 may be enclosed by compliant housing 23 as shown in the figures, or a separate design may be employed to effect the enclosure of fluid interlayer 24 itself. In principle, the width of the compliant shell 23 matches the width of the invisible correcting membrane 1. In one embodiment, the housing 23 is uniformly arranged to accommodate the width of the housing. In another embodiment, the compliant housing 23 continuously varies in its own direction of extension. In the latter embodiment, the compliant shell 23 can be configured to be wider at one end than the invisible correcting diaphragm 1 and narrower at the other end than the width of the invisible correcting diaphragm 1, thereby providing a more comfortable correcting sensation. The compliant housing 23 in effect constrains the morphology of the fluidic sandwich and thus determines the size of the bite pad 2.
In a specific structure, the adaptive shell 23 can be provided as a double-layer structure, and at least one layer is fixedly connected with the invisible correcting film 1. The accommodating case 23 forms a space inside for accommodating the fluid interlayer 24. In another embodiment, the adaptive shell 23 is a single-layer structure, and covers the invisible orthodontic film 1 to form a space for accommodating the fluid interlayer 24.
In terms of selection of the fluid, a plurality of fluids satisfying the use conditions, such as gas, liquid, and the like, may be selected. Specifically, the fluid interlayer 24 is filled with saline or water. The inventors have also found that for patients with excessive individual bite forces or severe bruxism, the internal liquid is easily squeezed out in order to ensure the safety of the human body after the bite block 2 has ruptured, which may occur later. A taste alert component may be filled in fluid interlayer 24 to alert the patient to the operational status of fluid interlayer 24. Such as bittering agents and the like.
In the case of a plurality of bite pads 2, the bite pads 2 may be arranged independently of one another, or in the embodiment shown in fig. 5, the bite pads 2 further include a communication line 25 passing around the incisor area 12, and the fluid interlayers 24 between the bite pads 2 are communicated with one another through the communication line 25.
The communication pipeline 25 can improve the adaptability of each bite-block pad 2, and form the independent bite-block pads 2 into a whole which is fed back mutually, so that the treatment effect is improved.
Structurally, each bite pad 2 is further provided with a connecting portion 26, and the connecting portion 26 extends from the buccal side surface of the molar region 11 of the invisible orthodontic film 1 to the buccal side surface of the molar region 11 on the other side of the invisible orthodontic film 1 after bypassing the labial side surface of the incisor region 12 of the invisible orthodontic film 1. The connecting portion 26 can further enhance the retention effect of the bite-block 2, reducing unnecessary displacement. From the dimension in the drawing, the connecting part 26 is a strip-shaped structure and has a width smaller than or equal to the width of the invisible correcting film 1. This arrangement can reduce the foreign body sensation caused by the arrangement of the connecting portion 26.
Meanwhile, the connection portion 26 and the communication pipe 25 can be fitted to each other. That is, the connecting portion 26 is provided with a communication pipe 25, and the fluid interlayers 24 between the bite pads 2 are communicated with each other through the communication pipe 25.
In the present application, the mechanical properties of the overall bite-block 2 are uniformly set, whether it be a hard bite-block or a fluid type bite-block. It is to be understood in particular that the mechanical properties of the bite block 2 remain uniform or close throughout. For example, in one embodiment, the bite pad 2 is made of a hard material, and the bite pad 2 is made of a hard material as a whole, and is capable of bearing the bite force applied by the bite surface in terms of mechanical properties; for another example, in one embodiment, the bite pad 2 is of an elastic structure, and the bite pad 2 is of an elastic structure as a whole, so that the force of the bite force on the occlusal surface can be adaptively adjusted to improve the comfort level.
Based on the above arrangement, it is to be appreciated that the application also discloses a plywood type invisible appliance comprising:
the invisible correction membrane 1 is covered on the surface of the teeth and is used for applying correction force to the teeth;
the occlusion pad 2 is integrated with the invisible correction film 1 and is arranged on the occlusion surface of the invisible correction film 1;
the invisible orthodontic diaphragm 1 comprises two molar areas 11 positioned on two sides and an incisor area 12 positioned in the middle, and the occlusal pad 2 is at least provided with two molar areas 11 which respectively correspond to the two molar areas.
According to the application, through the matched use of the occluding pad 2 and the invisible correction membrane 1, the movement of the teeth of a patient is realized while the treatment of the plywood is carried out, the correction time is greatly shortened, the operation feeling of medical staff is improved, and the treatment experience and the treatment effect of the patient are improved; second, this arrangement provides for earlier intervention to the downward shift of the high point of occlusion that causes joint problems, facilitating faster relief and treatment of joint problems caused by occlusion. In the applicable scene, the technical scheme provided by the application is suitable for patients without obvious maxillofacial pain and without pain as the main part of joint problems.
Similarly, the application also discloses a plywood type invisible correction system, which comprises:
the upper jaw invisible correction film pieces 1 and the lower jaw invisible correction film pieces 1 which are arranged in groups are respectively covered on the surfaces of upper teeth and the surfaces of lower teeth, and correction forces are respectively applied to the teeth;
the occlusion pad 2 is arranged on the occlusal surface of the upper jaw invisible correction film 1 and/or the lower jaw invisible correction film 1 and is of an integrated structure;
each invisible correction film 1 comprises two tooth grinding areas 11 positioned at two sides and a tooth cutting area 12 positioned in the middle, and the occlusal pad 2 is at least provided with two tooth grinding areas 11 which respectively correspond to the invisible correction film 1.
The system can be divided into a hard plate type invisible correction system and a fluid plate type invisible correction system according to different settings of the occluding pad 2.
Referring to fig. 7 and 8, it can be seen that in different treatment scenarios, the treatment effect can be adjusted by setting different layers of the bite-block 2.
Overall, the plywood type invisible correction system can align the dentition of a patient through the upper jaw invisible correction membrane 1 and the lower jaw invisible correction membrane 1, reduces and improves the joint problem through the occlusion pad 2 while shortening the treatment time, and greatly reduces the risk of aggravating the joint problem due to tooth movement.
The technical features of the above-described embodiments may be arbitrarily combined, and all possible combinations of the technical features in the above-described embodiments are not described for brevity of description, however, as long as there is no contradiction between the combinations of the technical features, they should be considered as the scope of the description. The above examples illustrate only a few embodiments of the application, which are described in detail and are not to be construed as limiting the scope of the claims. It should be noted that it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that several variations and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the application, which are all within the scope of the application.
