Description

Yellow pigment for color photoresist, modification method of yellow pigment, yellow color paste containing yellow pigment, color photoresist and optical filter
Technical Field
The application relates to the field of liquid crystal display materials, in particular to a yellow pigment for color photoresist, a modification method thereof, yellow color paste containing the yellow pigment, the color photoresist and an optical filter.
Background
Color filters are key devices for realizing color display of liquid crystal displays, and directly determine the quality of color images of the display. The preparation technology of the photoresist is the core technology for preparing the color filter. The filter consists of transparent base plate such as glass, black matrix, color photoresist layer, external coating and ITO conductive film, the color photoresist layer consists of three color photoresist of red, green and blue (RGB three primary colors), each color photoresist is a sub-pixel, and the pixels are arranged in four different types such as strip shape. The photoresist layer is required to have high temperature resistance, good chemical resistance, good color saturation and high transmittance. In the coloring of the filter, a pigment dispersion method is most commonly used. The preparation technology of color photoresist (photoresist) is a core technology for preparing color filters. The preparation of the color photoresist is divided into two parts, namely, pigment is used for preparing color paste, and then the color paste is used for preparing the color photoresist. Wherein, the color paste mainly comprises pigment, auxiliary agent, solvent and the like; the color photoresist comprises color paste, photo-curing resin, photoinitiator and the like. The quality of the color filter mainly depends on the performance of the pigment photoresistance and the coating process thereof, wherein the photoresistance pigment is one of main influencing factors as a colorant, and in order to fully exert the tinting strength and vividness of the photoresistance pigment and obtain good spectral characteristics, pigment particles must be dispersed in the pigment photoresistance in a fine, uniform and stable state as far as possible, and in the prior art, high-grade organic pigment varieties are mainly selected, and the pigment dispersion-color paste with fine and stable particle size is obtained through a high-efficiency dispersion treatment process. The dispersion state of the pigment and the particle size determine whether the final coating has high transmittance and high contrast.
The pigments should be selected based on obtaining a high definition spectrum, eliminating unnecessary wavelength spectra, and retaining only the necessary color light. The color filter can also be improved in color purity and transmittance by selecting organic pigment varieties meeting the requirements. The basic colors are three colors of red, green and blue, and it is difficult to obtain a desired spectrum of light by using red or green pigment alone, and in order to adjust the spectral characteristics of the color filter, such as hue, coloring intensity and contrast, yellow is mixed with red and green pigments to adjust the spectrum of light, such as c.i. pigment yellow 138, c.i. pigment yellow 139 and c.i. pigment yellow 150. For the preparation of yellow color paste, the contrast of the yellow color paste prepared by only using common yellow pigment or yellow pigment obtained by common kneading treatment (only adding salt and solvent) and grinding and dispersing is difficult to meet the requirement, and the contrast requirement of the yellow color paste for the color filter photoresist is more than 10000, so that the yellow pigment must be kneaded and modified, otherwise the requirements of liquid crystal display on the color paste and the color photoresist cannot be met.
