Description

Bone taking and grafting device for femoral medullary hole opening
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of medical instruments, in particular to a bone taking and grafting device for a femoral medullary hole.
Background
In total knee replacement, in order to determine the bone cutting force line of the distal femur, the distal femur is subjected to marrow opening, namely, the cortex above the intercondylar notch of the distal femur is drilled by an electric drill, a force line rod is inserted, and the distal femur is cut by adopting an intramedullary positioning mode. The open medullary canal is generally larger for the stability of the force wire rod, but the open femoral medullary cavity can cause obvious blood loss after operation, so the open medullary canal is generally closed after the placement of the knee joint prosthesis is completed, and excessive medullary cavity blood is prevented from flowing out of the open medullary canal.
Currently, when the femoral medullary hole is closed in operation, two methods are generally used, namely bone block closing and bone cement closing.
First, the bone block is closed. The bone (mostly, femur) cut from femur or tibia is trimmed and spliced into a circular or quadrangular bone block with a proper size, and the circular or quadrangular bone block is driven into the medullary opening.
Second, bone cement encapsulation. After the prosthesis is placed, the redundant bone cement is made into a block shape and is plugged into the femoral medullary hole, and the femoral medullary hole is closed along with the hardening of the bone cement.
Both methods in the prior art can seal the femoral medullary hole, but have the following disadvantages:
the first method of bone block closure is not good for mastering the size of the prepared bone block, and is not enough for closing the open medullary hole if the prepared bone block is too small, and is inconvenient for filling if the prepared bone block is too large. More importantly, the method requires additional time for trimming and splicing the cut bone pieces, prolongs the operation time and wastes the energy of the operator.
The second method of bone cement sealing, although solving the above problems of shaping and preparation time, is a foreign body, and cannot seal the medullary hole, which may cause local bone loss in the future revision surgery, and once the bone cement falls into the joint cavity, it must be removed again by surgery.
Two methods are currently used clinically, with the first bone block closure method being the most common.
