As shown in fig. 1, a memory 1005, which is a storage medium, may include therein an operating system, a user interface module, and a backlight adjusting program.
In the backlight adjustment apparatus shown in fig. 1, the user interface 1003 is mainly used for data interaction with a user; the processor 1001 and the memory 1005 of the backlight adjusting apparatus of the present invention may be provided in the backlight adjusting apparatus, which calls the backlight adjusting program stored in the memory 1005 through the processor 1001 and executes the backlight adjusting method provided by the embodiment of the present invention.
Based on the backlight adjusting apparatus, an embodiment of the present invention provides a backlight adjusting method, and referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a first embodiment of the backlight adjusting method according to the present invention.
In this embodiment, the backlight adjusting method includes the following steps:
step S10: and acquiring information of an image to be adjusted, and determining the image to be adjusted according to the information of the image to be adjusted.
It should be noted that the execution main body of the embodiment may be a computing service device with data processing, network communication and program running functions, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a personal computer, etc., or an electronic device capable of implementing the above functions or a television with a local dimming function, etc. The present embodiment and each of the following embodiments will be described below by taking the television set as an example.
It should be noted that the image information to be adjusted may be a video or several frames of images to be played on a video playing device. The determining of the image to be adjusted according to the image information to be adjusted may be acquiring an image frame in the image information to be adjusted, and taking the image frame as the image to be adjusted.
Step S20: and calculating the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to a preset backlight adjusting algorithm.
It should be noted that the preset backlight adjusting algorithm may be an algorithm capable of calculating an image brightness value of an image according to information such as YUV or RGB of the image to be adjusted.
Further, in order to more accurately obtain the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted, the step S20 includes: acquiring image histogram information of the image to be adjusted, wherein the image histogram information comprises pixel point RGB values and pixel occurrence frequencies of pixel points in the image to be adjusted; and calculating the image brightness value of the image to be regulated according to the pixel occurrence frequency, the pixel point RGB value and a preset backlight regulation algorithm.
It should be noted that the image histogram information may be information of pixel points and frequency information of the pixel points in the image to be adjusted. The histogram processing may be performed on the image to be adjusted to obtain image histogram information of the image to be adjusted. The preset backlight adjusting algorithm comprises the following steps:
Figure BDA0003253116430000061
wherein M is the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted, n is the number of different pixel points in the histogram information and RiIs the histogramR value, G value in RGB value of ith pixel point in informationiThe G value, B value in the RGB value of the ith pixel point in the histogram informationiIs the B value, P, in the RGB value of the ith pixel point in the histogram informationiAnd the occurrence frequency of the pixel of the ith pixel point in the histogram information is obtained.
In a specific implementation, for example, for an image information, the image frame of the image information has 1000 frames, and the image histogram information of the 1000 frames of image is calculated respectively to obtain the RGB values and the appearance frequencies of the pixels in the image, and then substituted into the above algorithm to calculate the brightness value of the image, for example, the image histogram of a certain image represents that it is composed of two different pixels, i.e., pixel a and pixel B, whose appearance frequencies are a and B, respectively, and are 100, 400, R and G, and B are 200, and 0, respectively. The RGB values for B are R100, G90, and B210, respectively. Substituting into the above formula, M is 100[ (299 × 200) + (587 × 100) + (114 × 0) ]/1000+400[ (299 × 100) + (587 × 90) + (114 × 210) ]/1000 is 100 × 118.5+400 × 106.67 is 11850+10667 is calculated as 11822517. I.e. the image brightness value of the image frame is 22517. Because each type of liquid crystal display screen has cold color and warm color difference, even different parts of the same type of screen have difference due to process difference, liquid crystal compensation is needed to be continuously carried out at the position, and the calculated image brightness value is adjusted by adopting the liquid crystal compensation so as to obtain a more accurate calculation result.
Step S30: and acquiring a preset time domain filter value and a reference frame image brightness value, and adjusting the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to the preset time domain filter value and the reference frame image brightness value to obtain an adjustment result.
It should be noted that the preset temporal filtering value may be a preset threshold value of a difference between image brightness values of two adjacent image frames, for example, the preset temporal filtering value may be set to 25, and when an absolute value of a difference between image brightness values of two adjacent image frames is greater than 25, it indicates that the brightness of the two adjacent image frames changes excessively, and brightness adjustment is required. The adjusting the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to the preset time-domain filter value and the reference frame image brightness value may be adjusting the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to the preset time-domain filter value and the reference frame image brightness value, so that an absolute value of a difference between the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted and the reference frame image brightness value is less than or equal to the preset time-domain filter value.
Step S40: and adjusting the brightness of the backlight lamp according to the adjusting result.
The backlight control chip may be a chip capable of adjusting the brightness of the backlight.
In a specific implementation, after receiving the adjustment result, a backlight control chip in the television adjusts the brightness of the backlight according to the adjustment result.
The embodiment acquires the information of an image to be adjusted, and determines the image to be adjusted according to the information of the image to be adjusted; calculating the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to a preset backlight adjustment algorithm; acquiring a preset time domain filter value and a reference frame image brightness value, and adjusting the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to the preset time domain filter value and the reference frame image brightness value to obtain an adjustment result; and adjusting the brightness of the backlight lamp according to the adjusting result. Because the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is calculated and the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is adjusted according to the preset time domain filter value and the reference frame image brightness value, because the reference frame image brightness value is the image brightness value of the previous frame image adjacent to the image to be adjusted, the difference between the adjusted image brightness value of the image to be adjusted and the reference frame image brightness value is within a certain range, and the problem of flicker caused by obvious bright-dark contrast can be avoided when the two adjacent frames of images are played. The problem of current when broadcasting bright and dark contrast obvious film source, obvious scintillation can appear is solved, the user is promoted and is seen the shadow and experience.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a backlight adjusting method according to a second embodiment of the invention.
Based on the first embodiment described above, in the present embodiment, the step S30 includes:
step S301: and acquiring a reference frame image brightness value, wherein the reference frame image brightness value is an image brightness value of a previous frame image adjacent to the image to be adjusted.
It should be understood that if the image to be adjusted is the first frame image in the image information, the adjustment may be started from the second frame image without adjustment.
Step S302: and acquiring a preset time domain filter value, and determining a target time domain filter value range according to the reference frame image brightness value and the preset time domain filter value.
It should be noted that the preset temporal filtering value may be a preset threshold value of a difference between brightness values of two adjacent image frames, for example, the preset temporal filtering value may be set to 25, that is, a difference between brightness values of two adjacent image frames does not exceed 25, or may be determined according to an empirical value, which is not limited herein. The determining of the target time-domain filtering value range according to the reference frame image brightness value and the preset time-domain filtering value may be that a lower limit value of the target time-domain filtering value range is obtained by subtracting a preset time-domain filtering value from the reference frame image brightness value, a lower limit value of the target time-domain filtering value range is obtained by adding a preset time-domain filtering value to the reference frame image brightness value, and a target time-domain filtering value range is generated according to the lower limit value and the upper limit value. For example, if the reference frame image brightness value is 180, the target temporal filtering value range determined according to the reference frame image brightness value is 155-.
Step S303: and adjusting the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to the target time domain filtering value range to obtain an adjustment result.
It should be noted that, the adjusting the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to the target time-domain filter value range may be adjusting the image brightness value to be within the target time-domain filter value range.
Further, in order to solve the problem of flicker caused by the apparent brightness change of the image frame during the video playing, after step S303, the method further includes: judging whether the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is within the target time domain filtering value range; and when the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is within the target time domain filtering value range, taking the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted as the adjustment result.
It should be understood that, when the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is within the target time domain filter value range, it may be considered that the brightness of the two adjacent frames of images does not change much, and no flicker problem may occur.
Further, after determining whether the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is within the target time domain filtering value range, the method further includes: when the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is not in the target time domain filtering value range, determining a first filtering value according to the target time domain filtering value range; judging whether the image brightness value of the image to be regulated is smaller than the first filtering value; and when the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is smaller than the first filtering value, taking the first filtering value as the adjustment result.
It should be noted that the first filtered value may be a lower limit value of the target time-domain filtered value range, for example, if the target time-domain filtered value range is 140 and 160, the first filtered value may be 140. And when the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is smaller than the first filtering value, taking the first filtering value as the adjustment result.
It should be understood that the non-step of determining whether the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is smaller than the first filtered value further includes: if the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is not smaller than the first filtering value, judging whether the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is larger than the upper limit value of a target time domain filtering value range, and taking the upper limit value of the target time domain filtering value range as the adjusting result when the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is larger than the upper limit value of the target time domain filtering value range. For example, if the target time-domain filter value range is 140-. And when the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted is larger than 160, taking 160 as the adjustment result of the image to be adjusted.
Further, the step of calculating the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to a preset backlight adjustment algorithm includes: acquiring the number of preset partitions; partitioning the image to be adjusted according to the preset partition number to obtain a partition image of the image to be adjusted; and calculating the brightness value of the subarea image according to a preset backlight adjusting algorithm.
It should be noted that the number of the partitions may be the number of the partitions that partition the image to be adjusted, that is, the number of the partitions that equally divide the image to be adjusted into several parts, and if the number of the partitions is 4, equally divide the image to be adjusted into 4 partitions. The partition image may be an image obtained by partitioning an image to be adjusted, and the method for calculating the brightness value of the partition image according to the preset backlight adjustment algorithm may refer to the method for calculating the brightness value of the image to be adjusted.
It should be understood that, in this embodiment, the brightness value of the image of the partition image may also be calculated by partitioning each frame of the image to be adjusted to obtain the partition image of each frame of the image to be adjusted, so that the brightness of the backlight may be adjusted for the partition. For example, if the image brightness values of the partition images in the same image to be recognized are too different, the brightness of the backlight lamps of the partition images may be respectively adjusted so that the image brightness difference of each partition image in the image to be recognized is within the preset range. The film watching experience of the user is improved.
The embodiment acquires the brightness value of the reference frame image of the previous frame image adjacent to the image to be adjusted; acquiring a preset time domain filter value, and determining a target time domain filter value range according to the reference frame image brightness value and the preset time domain filter value; and adjusting the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to the target time domain filtering value range to obtain an adjustment result. In the embodiment, a target time domain filter value range is determined according to a reference frame image brightness value and the preset time domain filter value by obtaining a reference frame image brightness value of a previous frame image adjacent to the image to be adjusted; and adjusting the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted according to the target time domain filtering value range to obtain an adjustment result. The difference between the image brightness value of the image to be adjusted and the reference frame image brightness value of the adjacent previous frame image is within a certain range, so that the problem of flicker caused by too large brightness change of the image frame can be avoided during video playing.
