Abstract
The embodiment of the invention provides a voice call processing method, a terminal, network side equipment and a storage medium. Technical Field

Background
At the initial stage of 5G network business, when there is no continuous NR (New Radio, New air interface) coverage but an operator already owns a mature LTE (Long Term Evolution) business network, an EPS FB (Evolved Packet System Fallback) voice scheme is often used for voice call. Common EPS FB speech schemes include measurement-based handover, blind handover and blind redirection.
In the measurement-based EPS FB scheme process, when the base station receives a voice request of the terminal, in order to determine a target LTE base station, the base station issues a B1 measurement to the terminal, so that the terminal starts signal measurement on LTE, and reports a measurement result. Then, the base station can start switching to the LTE network according to the measurement result reported by the terminal.
However, a certain time interval is caused from the time when the terminal starts the inter-system measurement of the LTE signal to the time when the measurement result is successfully reported, and then the base station issues the inter-system handover command to the terminal, so that the time delay from the time when the terminal starts to call to the time when the terminal is connected is too long.
Therefore, how to reduce the delay caused by inter-system measurement in the EPS FB process is a technical problem that needs to be solved in the present industry.

Specifically, the terminal sends a voice call request to the network side device when a voice call needs to be initiated. Accordingly, after receiving the voice call request, the network side device forwards the request to the core network for processing, where the processing flow of the core network is the same as that in the prior art, and details of this process are not repeated in this embodiment of the present invention.
When a request for increasing voice Quality of Flow (QoS Flow) sent by a core network in response to a voice call request of a terminal is received, a network side device confirms a target inter-system cell according to the inter-system measurement information which is acquired and stored in advance, and sends an inter-system handover instruction to the terminal based on the determined target inter-system cell. The step of confirming the target inter-system cell according to the pre-acquired and stored inter-system measurement information may be when a request of a voice Qos Flow is received, or may be at other occasions.
According to the voice call processing method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the different system measurement information is acquired from the terminal before the terminal initiates the voice call request, so that the step of different system measurement is omitted in the EPS FB process, and the EPS FB time delay is shortened. In addition, the configuration and reporting of the inter-system measurement B1 event in the prior art are reduced, and the signaling overhead is also reduced.
On the basis of the above embodiment of the present invention, the sending the first measurement indication information to the terminal includes:

It can be understood that, in order to ensure that when the terminal initiates a voice call, the network-side device has corresponding inter-system measurement information stored therein, the first measurement indication information needs to be sent to the terminal as soon as possible, so that the terminal starts the inter-system measurement procedure as soon as possible. Based on this, the network side device may send the first measurement indication information to the terminal when the terminal accesses or switches to the network side device.
According to the voice call processing method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the network side equipment can obtain the different system measurement information earlier by sending the first measurement indication information to the terminal when the terminal is initially accessed or switched to the network side equipment, so that the terminal can be ensured not to carry out different system measurement in the process of initiating the EPS FB even when the terminal is just accessed to the network side equipment, and the time delay of the EPS FB process is reduced.
On the basis of the above embodiment of the present invention, the first measurement indication information is used to indicate that the terminal periodically performs inter-system measurement and inter-system measurement information feedback.
Correspondingly, the performing inter-system measurement based on the first measurement indication information and the feeding back the inter-system measurement information to the network side device include:

Specifically, due to factors such as mobility of the terminal and changes of the external environment, the wireless environment in which the terminal is located often changes dynamically, and accordingly, different system measurement information measured by the terminal at different times often differs. Therefore, in order to ensure that the inter-system measurement information based on the network side device better conforms to the current wireless environment state of the terminal in the EPS FB process, the first indication information sent to the terminal in the embodiment of the present invention is used to indicate the terminal to perform periodic inter-system measurement and inter-system measurement information feedback.
Due to the adoption of periodic inter-system measurement and inter-system measurement information feedback, the embodiment of the invention ensures that the network side equipment can acquire the related conditions of inter-system signals in the wireless environment where the network side equipment is currently located in real time or nearly real time, thereby ensuring that the accuracy and reliability of the based inter-system measurement information can be ensured even if the inter-system measurement triggered based on the call event is not carried out in the EPS FB process.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment of the present invention, when the terminal feeds back the inter-system measurement information multiple times based on the first measurement instruction information, the receiving and storing the inter-system measurement information fed back by the terminal includes:

Therefore, when the network side device receives new inter-system measurement information, if the inter-system measurement information fed back by the terminal before is locally stored, the locally stored inter-system measurement information is replaced by the currently received inter-system measurement information, so that the inter-system measurement information stored in the network side device is the latest inter-system measurement information.
The embodiment of the invention replaces the locally stored different system measurement information with the newly received different system measurement signal, so that the different system measurement information used in the EPS FB process is the latest different system measurement information, and the reliability of different system switching in the EPS FB process is ensured.
On the basis of the above embodiment of the present invention, when the terminal does not feed back the inter-system measurement information or the fed-back inter-system measurement information is invalid, the method further includes:
sending second measurement indication information to a terminal, enabling the terminal to carry out inter-system measurement based on the second measurement indication information, and feeding back inter-system measurement information;
and sending a different system switching instruction to the terminal based on the different system measurement information.
Specifically, when the terminal initiates the voice call request, the network side device may not have sent the first measurement indication information to the terminal, and at this time, the network side device does not store corresponding inter-system measurement information. In addition, due to the influence of factors such as a wireless environment, the terminal may perform inter-system measurement and feed back the inter-system measurement information, but the network side device may not successfully receive the inter-system measurement information. It can be understood that, in addition to the above cases, there are other cases that cause the network side device to receive the inter-system measurement information or to invalidate the received inter-system measurement information, and this is not exhaustive in the embodiments of the present invention.
Accordingly, since there are various situations that may cause the network side device not to receive the inter-system measurement information or the received inter-system measurement information to be invalid before the terminal initiates the voice call request, in order to ensure smooth EPS FB under such a situation, the network side device in the embodiment of the present invention may send second measurement indication information to the terminal before the inter-system handover instruction needs to be sent to the terminal, so that the terminal performs inter-system measurement based on the second measurement indication information and feeds back the inter-system measurement information.
The embodiment of the invention ensures the robustness of the method of the embodiment of the invention by setting a sending mechanism of the second measurement indication information.
On the basis of the above embodiment of the present invention, the first measurement indication information includes inter-system signal information to be measured.
Specifically, the inter-system signal to be measured refers to an inter-system signal having the same coverage area as the network side device. The network side equipment fills the inter-system signal information to be measured in the first measurement indication information and sends the inter-system signal information to be measured to the terminal, so that the terminal can perform targeted inter-system measurement based on the inter-system signal information to be measured
On the basis of the above embodiments of the present invention, the inter-system signal information to be measured is obtained from inter-system signal information in the local configuration information.
Specifically, when the network is configured, the network side device configures and stores therein information related to the inter-system signal having the same coverage as the inter-system signal. When the first measurement indication information needs to be sent to a terminal, the network side device may fill the stored information of the inter-system signal as information of the inter-system signal to be measured into the first measurement indication information, and send the information to the terminal.

Specifically, whether to execute the EPS FB is determined based on the current network environment, network resources, and other factors, and when the current network side device is not enough to provide the voice service, the EPS FB is determined to be executed, and accordingly, the inter-system handover instruction is sent to the terminal based on the inter-system measurement information fed back by the terminal in advance. And when the current network side equipment is enough to ensure that the network service is provided for the terminal by itself, the network side equipment can provide the voice service for the terminal by itself without performing EPS FB.
The following describes a flow of the voice call processing method provided in the embodiment of the present invention by taking an example of configuring a terminal with periodic inter-system measurement on an LTE signal.
In the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partner Project, third Generation partnership Project) 38.331 protocol (Radio Resource Control (RRC) protocol specification), the definition of the event reporting and periodic reporting modes in section 5.5.5Measurement reporting is as follows:

it can be seen from the above description that, regardless of whether inter-system period measurement or B1 event measurement is configured, the measurement result is reported in the measResultNeighCells field, therefore, the result reported by the period measurement can be used to replace the B1 event measurement result, and the base station can directly use the last inter-system period measurement result of the terminal to make the decision of inter-system handover, so as to omit steps 2 and 3 in fig. 1, and achieve the purpose of accelerating handover to the LTE network, and the specific flow is as follows:
step A: when a terminal is accessed to an NR base station for the first time or is switched to the NR base station, if there is an LTE network signal that covers the same as the NR base station, configuring inter-system period measurement using the LTE signal as a measurement object, where a specific flow is as shown in fig. 4;
and B: when the terminal reports the measurement result of the different systems, if the terminal successfully measures the signal of the LTE network, the base station stores the measurement result of the different systems this time or updates the stored result, and the specific flow is as shown in fig. 5;
and C: when the terminal initiates a voice call, if the base station stores the inter-system period measurement result, the result is directly used for replacing the B1 event measurement result to carry out switching judgment, if the result is valid, the base station directly sends a switching command to the LTE network to the terminal, and if the storage result is invalid or the judgment fails, the B1 event measurement is configured for the terminal according to the original EPS FB flow. The specific flow is shown in FIG. 6.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 7, the terminal includes:
a measurement module 701, configured to receive first measurement indication information sent by a network side device, and perform inter-system measurement based on the first measurement indication information to obtain inter-system measurement information;
a feedback module 702, configured to feed back the inter-system measurement information to the network side device;
the switching module 703 is configured to receive a different system switching instruction sent by a network side device after sending a voice call request to the network side device; the inter-system switching instruction is sent by the network side equipment based on the received and stored inter-system measurement information.
Fig. 8 is a schematic structural diagram of a network side device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 8, the network side device includes:

Based on such understanding, the technical solution of the present invention may be embodied in the form of a software product, which is stored in a storage medium and includes instructions for causing a computer device (which may be a personal computer, a server, or a network device) to execute all or part of the steps of the method according to the embodiments of the present invention. The terminal provided by the embodiment of the invention sends the inter-system measurement information to the network side equipment before initiating the voice call request, so that the inter-system measurement step is omitted in the EPS FB process, and the EPS FB time delay is shortened.
Fig. 10 illustrates a schematic entity structure diagram of a network-side device, and as shown in fig. 10, the network-side device may include: a processor (processor)1010, a communication Interface (Communications Interface)1020, a memory (memory)1030, and a communication bus 1040, wherein the processor 1010, the communication Interface 1020, and the memory 1030 communicate with each other via the communication bus 1040. In another aspect, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, on which a computer program is stored, where the computer program is implemented to perform the voice call processing method provided in the foregoing embodiments when executed by a processor, and for example, the method includes:
receiving first measurement indication information sent by network side equipment, and performing inter-system measurement based on the first measurement indication information to obtain inter-system measurement information;
feeding back the inter-system measurement information to the network side equipment;
after sending a voice call request to network side equipment, receiving a different system switching instruction sent by the network side equipment; the inter-system switching instruction is sent by the network side equipment based on the received and stored inter-system measurement information.

the inter-system measurement is measurement for an LTE system, and correspondingly, the inter-system measurement information is LTE system measurement information.
2. The call processing method of claim 1, wherein:
the first measurement indication information is sent by the network side equipment when a terminal accesses or is switched to the network side equipment.
3. The call processing method according to claim 1, wherein the first measurement indication information is used to instruct the terminal to perform periodic inter-system measurement and inter-system measurement information feedback;

24. The network-side device of claim 22, wherein:
the first measurement indication information is used for indicating the terminal to periodically perform inter-system measurement and inter-system measurement information feedback.
25. The network-side device of claim 22, wherein when the terminal feeds back the inter-system measurement information multiple times based on the first measurement indication information, the receiving and storing the inter-system measurement information fed back by the terminal comprises:
and receiving the different system measurement information, and if the different system measurement information fed back before the terminal is locally stored, replacing the locally stored different system measurement information with the currently received different system measurement information.
26. The network-side device of claim 22, wherein when the terminal does not feed back the inter-system measurement information or the fed-back inter-system measurement information is invalid, the step further includes:
sending second measurement indication information to a terminal, enabling the terminal to carry out inter-system measurement based on the second measurement indication information, and feeding back inter-system measurement information;
and sending a different system switching instruction to the terminal based on the different system measurement information.
27. The network-side device of claim 22, wherein:
the first measurement indication information includes inter-system signal information to be measured.
28. The network-side device of claim 27, wherein:
and the inter-system signal information to be measured is acquired from the inter-system signal information in the local configuration information.
29. The network-side device of claim 22, wherein when the terminal initiates the voice call, sending the inter-system handover command to the terminal based on inter-system measurement information fed back by the terminal in advance comprises:
and the terminal initiates a voice call and sends a different system switching instruction to the terminal based on the different system measurement information fed back by the terminal in advance when determining to perform EPS FB.
30. The network-side device of claim 29, wherein when the terminal initiates a voice call, sending a inter-system handover command to the terminal based on the inter-system measurement information fed back by the terminal comprises:
and receiving indication information of increasing voice Qos Flow sent by a core network in response to a voice call request of a terminal, and sending a switching instruction of the different system to the terminal based on the measurement information of the different system fed back by the terminal when determining to perform EPS FB.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium, on which a computer program is stored, the computer program, when being executed by a processor, implementing the steps of the voice call processing method according to any one of claims 1 to 5 or the steps of the voice call processing method according to any one of claims 6 to 14.
