Rock burst is a difficult problem affecting coal mining safety, and poses great threat to safety production. At present, one of the main measures for preventing coal mine from rushing is to drill holes in a coal seam to release the pressure of the coal seam, but the pressure relief effect is not ideal due to the small pressure relief aperture. The mining of the protective layer can increase the permeability and the air permeability of coal and rock through the mining action, thereby effectively reducing the gas concentration of the protected layer.
The traditional mining of a thin coal seam and a protective layer mainly depends on a coal drilling and mining machine, the width is small at one time, coal pillars are easy to leave, and a single spiral drill rod is used as a drilling tool, so that the drilling and mining process is unstable, and drilling drop and drilling sticking accidents are easy to happen; the spiral drill rods at the front end and the rear end are connected by threads, so that time and labor are consumed for dismounting, the requirement on mounting precision is high, and the threads are easy to lose effectiveness; the ventilation effect is poor, the safety is low, and the development requirements of the times are not met.
