Detailed Description
Terminal devices typically have a need to access multiple network services. Fig. 1 is a schematic view of an application scenario provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 1, when the terminal device 110 is in an area 1, for example, the area 1 is an office area, the terminal device needs to access the network service 1 of the area 1. When the terminal device is in an area 2, for example the area 2 is a production area, the terminal device needs to access the network service 2 of the production area. When the terminal device is in the area n, the terminal device needs to access the network service n of the area n, and so on.
The network service refers to the adoption of the internet universal standard, so that a user can access data on a network (Web) through terminal equipment at different places, and generally, the data provided by different network services can meet different requirements of the user.
By way of example, the terminal device 120 may be a device that provides voice and/or data connectivity to a user, e.g., a handheld device with wireless connectivity, an in-vehicle device, etc. The terminal device may also be referred to as a User Equipment (UE), an access terminal (access terminal), a user unit (user unit), a subscriber station (user station), a mobile station (mobile), a remote station (remote station), a remote terminal (remote terminal), a mobile device (mobile device), a user terminal (user terminal), a wireless communication device (wireless telecom equipment), a user agent (user agent), a user equipment (user equipment), or a user equipment. The terminal device may be a Station (STA) in a wireless local area network (wireless local Area networks, WLAN), may be a cellular telephone, a cordless telephone, a session initiation protocol (session initiation protocol, SIP) phone, a wireless local loop (wireless local loop, WLL) station, a personal digital processing (personal digital assistant, PDA) device, a handheld device with wireless communication capabilities, a computing device or other processing device connected to a wireless modem, a vehicle-mounted device, a wearable device, a terminal in a next generation communication system (e.g., a fifth generation (5G) communication network) or a terminal device in a future evolution public land mobile network (public land mobile network, PLMN) network, etc. Wherein 5G may also be referred to as a New Radio (NR). In a possible application scenario, the terminal device may also be a terminal device that is often operated on the ground, for example a vehicle-mounted device. In this application, for convenience of description, a chip disposed in the above device, or a chip may also be referred to as a terminal device.
It will be appreciated that, for the terminal device 120, the network service may be accessed through a 2 nd generation mobile communication technology (the 2th generation mobile communication technology,2G) network, a 3 rd generation mobile communication technology (the 3th generation mobile communication technology,3G) network, a 4th generation mobile communication technology (the 4th generation mobile communication technology,4G) network, a 5th generation mobile communication technology (the 5th generation mobile communication technology,5G) network, or a higher standard mobile communication technology (e.g. a 6 th generation mobile communication technology) network proposed in the future, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present application.
It is described herein that the embodiment of the present application does not limit the spectrum resources used by the terminal device. For example, terminal device 120 may use licensed spectrum, or may use unlicensed spectrum, or may use both licensed and unlicensed spectrum.
For the application scenario shown in fig. 1, each network service has a corresponding data network name (data network name, DNN), which can be understood as a unique identifier that can distinguish between different network services, i.e. one network service corresponds to a unique DNN and a different DNN corresponds to a different network service.
Currently, if a terminal device is to access a network service of a certain area, a user needs to manually switch a data network name to a DNN corresponding to the network service of the area on the terminal device, so that the terminal device can access the network service indicated by the DNN.
Still taking fig. 1 as an example, assume that DNN corresponding to network service 1 is DNN1 and DNN corresponding to network service 2 is DNN2, at this time, if terminal device 110 is in area 1 and needs to access network service 1 of area 1, then the user needs to manually switch the current DNN of the terminal device to DNN1, so that terminal device 110 switches the current network service to network service 1 indicated by DNN1, and if terminal device 110 is in area 2 and needs to access network service 2 of area 2, then the user needs to manually switch the current DNN of the terminal device to DNN2, so that terminal device 110 can access network service 2 indicated by DNN 2.
However, when the network service is switched by adopting the method, the switching process is complicated and the efficiency is low because of manual operation. In addition, it can be understood that if the data that the terminal device needs to send is sent in the network service after the handover, at this time, if the user forgets to switch the service network, the data will be unsafe.
In view of this, the present application provides a method of switching network services. In the method, a first mapping relation between a geographical range which can be served by each network service and the network service is stored in terminal equipment in advance, and then the first network service with the mapping relation with the current geographical position is determined as the target network service of the terminal equipment based on the first mapping relation. In this way, the terminal device switches network services by judging the current geographic location. Therefore, the manual switching of network services by a user can be avoided, the complexity of the process of switching network services is reduced, and the switching efficiency is improved.
Further, since the terminal device may access to the network service through different mobile communication networks, in the present application, a second mapping relationship between a mobile communication network that may be used when the terminal device accesses to the first network service and a DNN that should be used when the terminal device accesses to the first network service in the case of using the mobile communication network is also stored in the terminal device, and at this time, after the terminal device obtains the currently used mobile communication network, the terminal device may determine, according to the second mapping relationship, a first DNN that has a mapping relationship with the mobile communication network, so that the terminal device may switch the current DNN to the first DNN, thereby may access the first network service.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for switching network services according to an embodiment of the present application. The method may be performed by the terminal device shown in fig. 1. In this embodiment, a first mapping relationship between each network service in at least one network service and a service geographic range is stored in the terminal device.
It will be appreciated that if the terminal device needs to access data or information in a network service, the terminal device also needs to access the network service. For example, if the terminal device needs to access certain data or information in the office area, the terminal device must access the network service of the office area but cannot access the network service of the production area, and if the terminal device needs to access certain data or information in the production area, the terminal device must access the network service of the production area but cannot access the network service of the office area.
It will also be appreciated that there are typically a plurality of network services that can be accessed by the terminal device, and that the geographical range over which each network service can be serviced is limited. For example, the terminal device may access network services of an office and network services of a production area, and the network serviceable range of the office may be limited to the office and the network serviceable range of the production area may be limited to the production area. In this embodiment, how the serviceable range of each network service is represented is not limited, and may be represented by longitude and latitude, for example.
Therefore, in this embodiment, a first mapping relationship between each network service and a service geographical range of at least one network service is stored in the terminal device.
Illustratively, the terminal device stores 4 network services, which are respectively called network service 1, network service 2, network service 3 and network service 4, wherein the geographic scope of network service 1 is, for example, geographic scope 1, the geographic scope of network service 2 is, for example, geographic scope 2, the geographic scope of network service 3 is, for example, geographic scope 3, and the geographic scope of network service 4 is, for example, geographic scope 4. Then, the first mapping relationship may be represented by the mapping relationship table of table 1.
Table 1 mapping table
Network service 1 | Geographic scope 1 |
Network service 2 | Geographic scope 2 |
Network service 3 | Geographic scope 3 |
Network service 4 | Geographic scope 4 |
Next, a method for switching network services according to an embodiment of the present application will be described after storing a first mapping relationship between each network service in at least one network service and a service geographic range in a terminal device. As shown in fig. 2, the method of the present embodiment may include S201, S202, and S203.
S201, current geographic position information of the terminal equipment is obtained.
Wherein the geographical location information may be used to represent the geographical location where the terminal device is located.
In one implementation, the terminal device may acquire the geographic location where the current terminal device is located through a geographic location acquisition module, for example, the geographic location acquisition module may be a global positioning system (global positioning system, GPS) or beidou. For a specific implementation of how to acquire the geographic location using GPS or beidou, reference may be made to descriptions in the related art, and details are not repeated here.
S202, determining a first network service with a mapping relation with a current geographic position as a target network service of the terminal equipment according to the first mapping relation, wherein the current geographic position is the geographic position indicated by the current geographic position information.
In this embodiment, since the first mapping relationship between each network service in at least one network service and the service geographic range is already stored in the terminal device, when the terminal device obtains the current geographic location information, it can determine which service geographic range the geographic location indicated by the geographic location information is included in, further, when determining the geographic range including the current geographic location, it can determine the network service (i.e., the first network service) corresponding to the service geographic range based on the first mapping relationship, and then use the first network service as the target network service.
For example, taking table 1 as an example, it is assumed that the terminal device obtains current geographic location information through GPS, and the geographic location indicated by the geographic location information is located in geographic range 2, at this time, the terminal device may determine, according to the first mapping relationship, that network service 2 corresponds to geographic range 2, and at this time, the terminal device may use network service 2 as the target network service.
S203, switching the network service of the terminal equipment to the first network service.
In this embodiment, after the terminal device determines that the first network service is the target network service, the current network service may be switched to the first network service.
For example, assuming that a mapping relationship between a network service of an office area and a geographical range that can be serviced by the network service of the office area is stored in the terminal device, at this time, if it has been determined through S201 and S202 that the current geographical location of the terminal device is located in the geographical range that can be serviced by the network service of the office area, the terminal device may switch the current network service to be the network service of the office area, thereby accessing data or information within the network service of the office area.
According to the method for switching network services, the terminal equipment determines whether the current geographic position is contained in a certain stored service geographic range or not, if so, a target network service with a mapping relation with the certain service geographic range is determined through the stored mapping relation, and then the current network service is switched to the network service corresponding to the certain service geographic range. It can be understood that in the method, the terminal device can directly determine whether to switch network services based on the geographic position by itself without manually switching network services by a user, so that the process of switching network services by the terminal device is simplified, and the efficiency is improved.
Illustratively, assume that the geographic range of services that network service 1 can serve is geographic range 1 and that the geographic range of services that network service 2 can serve is geographic range 2. At this time, if the terminal device moves from the geographic area 1 to the geographic area 2 and wants to use the network service 2 with the service geographic area 2, in the prior art, the user needs to manually switch the current network service to the network service 2 on the terminal device, and in the present application, after determining that the current geographic position is located in the geographic area 2, the terminal device can directly switch the current network service to the network service 2 without manual switching.
As an optional embodiment, the terminal device further stores a second mapping relationship between each mobile communication network in at least one mobile communication network and a data network name DNN that should be used by the terminal device to access each network service through each mobile communication network; switching the network service of the terminal device to a first network service, comprising: acquiring a mobile communication network currently used by terminal equipment; determining a first DNN with a mapping relation with a currently used mobile communication network as a target DNN of the terminal equipment according to the second mapping relation; and switching the DNN of the terminal equipment to the first DNN.
The mobile communication network may be a 2G network, a 3G network, a 4G network, a 5G network, or a higher standard (e.g. 6 th generation mobile communication technology) network proposed in the future, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present application.
Here, the 2G network, the 3G network, the 4G network, and the 5G network are different concepts from the network service. The 2G network, the 3G network, and the 4G network, the 5G network may be considered as an access manner used by the terminal device, and the network service is a target network service that the terminal device needs to access. For example, the network service is a network service of an office area, and the terminal device may be accessed into the office area network service through a 3G network, a 4G network, or a 5G network.
The DNN may be understood as a unique identifier capable of distinguishing different network services, one network service corresponding to a unique DNN, and different DNNs corresponding to different network services. For example, the network services of the office area are not identical to the DNNs corresponding to the network services of the production area. In this embodiment, the DNN may be considered as an entry for the terminal device to access the network service, i.e. the network service may be switched by switching the DNN.
Further, for the same network service, the terminal device may access through different mobile communication networks, and at this time, some network parameters or configuration parameters that may be required for the terminal device access mode are different. Therefore, in this embodiment, when the terminal device can use multiple mobile communication networks to access to the network service, a corresponding DNN is further set for each mobile communication network in the multiple mobile communication networks, that is, a second mapping relationship between a mobile communication network that can be used when the terminal device accesses a certain network service and a DNN that should be used when the terminal device accesses the certain network service in the case of using the mobile communication network is stored, so that after determining the access mode used, the terminal device can determine the DNN that needs to be used for switching the network service.
Illustratively, the network services include network service 1 and network service 2, and the mobile communication networks that can be used by the terminal device are 3G/4G, and 5G, for example. It is assumed that the information stored in the terminal device is: network service 1 and geographic area 1 that network service 1 can serve, and DNN1.1 is used when terminal equipment uses 5G access network service 1, and DNN1.2 is used when terminal equipment uses 3G/4G access network service 1; network service 2 and the geographical area 2 that network service 2 can serve, and DNN2.1 is used when the terminal device uses 5G access network service 2, and DNN2.2 is used when the terminal device uses 3G/4G access network service 1.
At this time, if the terminal device obtains the current location through the geographic location obtaining module, it is determined that the geographic location is located in the geographic range 2, and the mobile communication network currently used by the terminal device is 4G, then the terminal device may switch the current DNN to DNN2.2, so as to switch the current network service to network service 2.
As an alternative embodiment, the method further comprises: if the service geographic range corresponding to all network services in the at least one network service does not contain the current geographic position, determining a second network service as a target network service of the terminal equipment, wherein the at least one network service does not contain the second network service; and switching the network service of the terminal equipment to the second network service.
Fig. 3 is an exemplary method for switching network services according to another embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 3, the method of the embodiment of the present application includes S301, S302, S303, and S304. The method may be performed by the terminal device shown in fig. 1. In this embodiment, taking the storage of at least one network service in the terminal device as an example of storing N network services, that is, storing N network services in the terminal device and the first mapping relationship between N service geographic ranges corresponding to the N network services.
S301, current geographic position information of the terminal equipment is obtained.
The detailed description of this step may refer to the description in S201 in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, and will not be repeated here.
S302, judging whether the current geographic position is contained in any one geographic range of N service geographic ranges stored in the terminal equipment, wherein the current geographic position is indicated by current geographic position information; if so, S303 is executed, and if not, S304 is executed.
For example, the terminal device stores 5 network services and 5 service geographic ranges corresponding to the 5 network services, and when the terminal device acquires the current geographic position, it is determined whether the current geographic position is included in any one of the 5 service geographic ranges.
S303, determining the first network service with the mapping relation with the current geographic position as the target network service of the terminal equipment according to the first mapping relation, and switching the network service of the terminal equipment into the first network service.
The detailed description and implementation process of this step may refer to descriptions in S202 and S203 in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, and will not be repeated here.
S304, determining the second network service as the target network service of the terminal equipment, and switching the network service of the terminal equipment to the second network service.
In this embodiment, if all the network services correspond to a service geographic range, that is, the N service geographic ranges do not include the current geographic position, it is indicated that the terminal device is not currently located in the geographic range that any one of the N network services can serve. In this embodiment, when the terminal device is not within the geographical range where any one of the N network services is available, a second network service is determined as the target network service of the terminal device, the second network service being different from any one of the N network services, and then the network service of the terminal device is switched to the second network service.
Alternatively, the terminal device may also access the second network service via a different mobile communication network. In this case, the mapping relationship between each of the at least one mobile communication network and the DNN to be used by the terminal device for accessing the second network service through each mobile communication network may also be stored in advance in the terminal device. The implementation manner may be similar to that in the above embodiment, the description of the second mapping relationship between each mobile communication network in at least one mobile communication network and the data network name DNN that should be used by the terminal device to access each network service through each mobile communication network is also stored in the terminal device, which is not described herein.
Alternatively, the geographic location information in the present application may be latitude and longitude information.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an apparatus for switching network services according to an embodiment of the present application. The method is applied to terminal equipment, and a first mapping relation between each network service and a service geographic range in at least one network service is stored in the terminal equipment; the apparatus 400 includes: an obtaining module 401, configured to obtain current geographical location information of a terminal device; the processing module 402 determines, according to the first mapping relationship, a first network service having a mapping relationship with a current geographic location as a target network service of the terminal device, and is configured to switch the network service of the terminal device to the first network service, where the current geographic location is a geographic location indicated by the current geographic location information.
