The invention improves the structure aiming at the matching relation of the impeller and the sleeve opening of the air inlet of the backward centrifugal ventilator, adds an arc-shaped flange section at the inner ring of the front disk of the impeller so as to reduce the internal leakage loss and improve the flow and the pneumatic efficiency of the outlet of the impeller, thereby improving the output of the ventilator, saving energy and reducing consumption, simultaneously increasing the rigidity of the inlet ring of the impeller and improving the operation reliability of the ventilator, and the overall dimension of the ventilator is not increased when the arc-shaped flange section is added, thereby having positive significance.

The presence of internal leakage results in a reduction in impeller exit flow and a portion of the wasted work, i.e., internal leakage losses are created.

Preferably, the outlet end of the air inlet is located within the length range of the straight cylinder section cd at the axial position.
