Description

System and method for implementing unified management and injection of media assets
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of media services, in particular to a two-stage architecture system and a method thereof for realizing unified management and injection of media resources based on a message queue, which are provided for an operator.
Background
With the development of video technology, internet-based interactive network televisions are now quite popular. The IPTV uses a broadband cable television network, integrates a plurality of technologies such as internet, multimedia, and communication, and provides a plurality of interactive services including digital audiovisual content to home users. In IPTV service, it is often necessary to inject (also referred to as delivering) audio-visual content to a downstream platform through a media asset (hereinafter referred to as media asset) injection interface, so as to realize the set-top box playing at the end.
The existing media asset issuing system has weak intensive management capability, all downstream visual management platforms are difficult to unify, all the downstream visual management platforms need to be logged in one by one to issue media assets one by one, if the same media assets need to be issued to a plurality of downstream platforms, issuing behaviors are repeatedly operated for many times, and the workload is very large; and if the media asset issuing state of a certain downstream platform needs to be checked, the media asset issuing state can be checked only by logging in a visual management platform corresponding to the downstream platform. Therefore, an intensive system and method are needed to implement uniform delivery of the media assets and uniform management of the media asset delivery state of each downstream platform, and reduce frequent login and repeated operation.
The existing media asset issuing system needs a plurality of modules to be matched with each other, all the internal modules of the system are mutually called in an interface mode, the coupling is too high, and the failure of one core module often causes the unavailability of the whole system for a period of time; in addition, the existing system has no mechanism for automatically processing retransmission after fault recovery, and needs to manually participate in starting reinjection, so that the issuing efficiency is influenced. Therefore, a need exists for a system and method with automatic fault handling capability to achieve automatic handling of faults without human intervention.
The existing media asset issuing system is usually connected with a third-party system through an interface, the coupling between the two systems is too high, and when one interface fails, the mutual calling between the interfaces fails to further influence the on-line service and data. Therefore, a decoupling manner from a third-party system is needed to improve the convenience, reliability, and stability of the external access.
The existing media asset issuing system is often required to forward media assets to a third-party platform. Because the quantity of the media information is huge, the third-party platform usually only needs to receive a certain part of media information but not all the media information, but cannot perform partial classification and issue on the media information at present, and unnecessary system resource waste is caused. Therefore, a system and a method for supporting the media asset information to be partially classified and respectively issued according to the actual requirements of the third-party platform are needed.

Detailed Description
The present invention will now be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which specific embodiments of the invention are shown. Various advantages and benefits of the present invention will become apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art upon reading the following detailed description of the specific embodiments. It should be understood, however, that the present invention may be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. The following embodiments are provided so that the invention may be more fully understood. Unless otherwise defined, technical or scientific terms used herein shall have the ordinary meaning as understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs.
In order to solve the problem that the repeatability is high when media assets are injected due to the fact that platforms are numerous and difficult to unify and the intensive management capability of the existing system is weak, the system for achieving unified management and injection of the media assets (referred to as a media asset issuing system for short) is provided with an upstream platform and a downstream platform, wherein the upstream platform and the downstream platform are respectively an intensive upstream media asset visual management platform (referred to as an upstream platform for short) and a downstream media asset visual management platform (referred to as a downstream platform for short).
Referring to fig. 1, the media asset delivery system of the present invention mainly comprises an upstream platform, a message queue system, and one or more downstream platforms, two of which are shown as examples, and those skilled in the art will understand that a greater number of downstream platforms may be included in the system of the present invention.
The upstream platform 110 is an intensive upstream media asset visualization management platform, and an upstream message queue processing module 111 is integrated in the platform; the downstream platforms 120, 130 are downstream asset visualization management platforms, and include downstream message queue processing modules 121, 131, asset visualization management platforms 124, 134, personalized asset injection interfaces 122, 132, and downstream capability platforms 123, 133.
And the upstream visual media asset management platform and the downstream visual media asset management platform are communicated through a message queue system.
The media asset delivery system described in the present invention can edit the relevant media assets on the upstream platform and select one or more downstream platforms to deliver, and the delivery action includes that the upstream message queue processing module 111 of the upstream platform 110 automatically constructs the media asset delivery pay list and sends it to the message queue system 180. The corresponding downstream message queue processing modules 121 and 131 subscribe to the message queue from the message queue system 180 in real time, automatically receive and process the relevant media asset delivery pay list, and call the existing downstream platform personalized media asset injection interfaces 122 and 132 to perform media asset injection of the capability platform after the processing is finished. After the injection processing is finished, the downstream capability platform asynchronously notifies the personalized media asset injection interface of the processing result, after receiving the result, the personalized media asset injection interface calls back the results notified to the message queue processing module for processing 121 and 131, and after receiving the media asset injection result, the message queue processing module 121 and 131 returns the result to the upstream platform 110 through the message queue system.
In this way, the upstream platform 110 and the downstream platforms 120 and 130 form a complete closed loop process of delivering the work order, so that the purpose of uniformly managing and issuing the media assets of the downstream platforms 120 and 130 can be realized only by the upstream platform 110. When the media resource pay list needs to be retransmitted, the upstream platform and the downstream platform can retransmit the media resource pay list without repeatedly logging in the downstream platform to issue the media resource, and the issuing and management efficiency is improved to a certain extent.
By introducing the message queue system, the problems of high coupling of internal modules and low issuing efficiency caused by manual participation in a reinjection process when a system fault occurs are solved. The upstream platform and the downstream platform realize communication through a message queue system, and realize the decoupling of the upstream platform and the downstream platform. In addition, the payroll issued by the media asset is numbered and persistently stored in the message queue according to the message delivery sequence, and the message queue supports cluster deployment and multi-machine automatic backup and has higher reliability, so the payroll can be reliably and persistently stored. When the system fault of the downstream platform is temporarily unavailable, the media resources which are already issued to the message queue by the upstream platform are not influenced, the work order can be continuously persisted in the message queue, and the consumption can be automatically continued after the capability of the downstream platform is recovered. When the batch media payroll is required to be retransmitted, the historical payroll can be automatically retransmitted by adjusting the number of the consumption payroll on the downstream platform, so that the automatic batch retransmission after the system failure recovery is realized, excessive manual participation is not needed, and the content issuing efficiency is improved.
By introducing the message queue system, the problem of interface docking with the third-party system 190 is also solved, for example, the third-party system often needs to know the injection state of each downstream platform of the media asset, and the third-party system only needs to subscribe the message queue consumption message, so that on one hand, the decoupling of the media asset issuing system and the third-party system is realized, and the problem of unreliable interface calling mode is solved; on the other hand, the docking convenience is improved, the diversity of different third-party system requirements is adapted, when the third-party system needs to know other types of messages, only the messages of the types need to be subscribed in the same way for processing, and a new interface does not need to be docked; and otherwise, the third-party system can also utilize the message queue to produce messages to inform the media asset issuing system.
The upstream platform and the message queue system can also support partial classification of the media information and respectively send the media information to the third-party platform. The upstream platform manages all the media asset information, can inquire out the media asset that the third party platform needs according to the combination of multiple screening conditions, and write the media asset information that is screened out into under the corresponding classification of the message queue, the third party platform can receive the necessary some media asset information only needing to subscribe the message queue correctly.
The technical scheme of the invention is a two-stage architecture system with an introduced message queue, the system has higher integration degree, and an integrated upstream platform is connected with a downstream platform through the message queue, so that not only all media resources can be managed, but also the injection states of all the media resources and all the downstream platforms can be managed. Repeated actions of media asset injection and checking are not required to be repeatedly logged in a downstream platform manually, and injection and management efficiency is improved to a certain extent.
The upstream platform and the downstream platform carry out mutual transmission of work orders through the message queue system, and decoupling between two levels of architectures in the system is achieved. In addition, the media resource injection worksheet is stored in the message queue system in a persistent mode according to the message delivery sequence number, when the batch media resource worksheet needs to be retransmitted, the historical worksheet can be automatically retransmitted again on the downstream media resource visual management platform by adjusting the number of the consumption worksheet, so that automatic batch retransmission after system fault recovery is achieved, excessive manual participation is not needed, and the content injection efficiency is improved.
When a third-party system is connected, by introducing a message queue, on one hand, the decoupling of a media asset issuing system and an external system is realized, and the problem of unreliable interface calling mode is solved; on the other hand, the docking convenience is improved, and the diversity of different third-party system requirements is adapted. When the media assets are forwarded to the third-party platform, partial media assets are screened out by the upstream platform and written into the message queue, and therefore the purposes of partial classification and respective injection of the media assets are achieved.
The flow of a method for implementing unified management and injection of media assets is discussed next in conjunction with fig. 2.
The upstream platform edits the assets and selects a downstream platform for injection.
In step 201, the upstream platform constructs a media asset payroll and sends the media asset payroll to a message queue system;
in step 202, the message queue processing module of the downstream platform monitors the message queue system in real time, subscribes/receives the work order information, and if new information exists, the work order is immediately analyzed and processed according to the delivery sequence in step 203;
after the downstream message queue processing module successfully analyzes the worksheet, an injection instruction is sent to call a personalized media asset injection interface of a downstream platform to perform media asset injection of the downstream capability platform in step 204, the injection worksheet is issued in step 205, and a receipt worksheet is sent back (asynchronous response) to the personalized media asset injection interface in step 206;
after receiving the injection processing result, the personalized media asset injection interface of the downstream platform calls for multiple times in step 207, continuously notifies the work order issuing state, and notifies the message queue processing module of the downstream platform of the processing result;
after receiving the result of the personalized media asset injection interface, the downstream message queue processing module constructs a result worksheet in step 208 and sends the result worksheet to the message queue system;
the message queue processing module embedded in the upstream platform monitors and analyzes the work order subscribed/received by the message queue system in real time in step 209, records the processing result in step 210, and issues the work order processing completion information to the message queue system in step 211.
In the event of access by a third party system, the third party system listens to the message queue, including subscribing/receiving payroll processing completion information at step 212, and subscribing/receiving a portion of the media payroll at step 213, and parsing the service operation at step 214.
Compared with the prior art, the system and the method for issuing the media assets have the following advantages:
the method has high integration degree, repeated actions of issuing and checking the media assets by repeatedly logging in a downstream platform are not needed, and the efficiency of issuing and managing the media assets is improved to a certain extent.
By introducing the message queue, the decoupling of the internal modules of the system is realized, and when the intensive upstream platform fails, each downstream platform is not influenced, and vice versa; and the reliability and the persistence of the message queue are utilized to realize automatic batch retransmission after system failure recovery, excessive manual participation is not needed, and the efficiency of media resource issuing is improved.
By introducing the message queue, on one hand, the decoupling of the media asset issuing system and a third-party system is realized, and the problem of unreliable interface calling mode is solved; on the other hand, the docking convenience is improved, and the diversity of different third-party system requirements is adapted.
By introducing the message queue, when the media assets are forwarded to the third-party platform, the intensive upstream management platform can screen out the media assets to be issued according to different conditions and issue the media assets to the message queue, and the third-party platform can directly subscribe the consumption of the message queue, so that the aims of classifying and respectively issuing part of the media assets are fulfilled.
