Example one
Video is a media type for bearing various dynamic images, and is becoming an indispensable part of various fields in human life. With the continuous development of information technology, the physical performance of various display terminals is improved, people also put forward higher requirements on the display quality of videos for better visual experience, at the present stage, the video resolution is gradually upgraded from standard definition and high definition to full definition, ultra-high definition, 8K and the like, the requirements of people on video quality dimensions such as video definition, color restoration, HDR, dynamic smoothness and the like are higher and higher, and because the current video resources with high image quality are relatively limited, a lot of software for enhancing the video image quality is generated in order to meet the requirements in the aspect.
After the image quality of the video is enhanced by the software for enhancing the image quality of the video, a user often needs to observe and contrast the image quality improvement degree of the enhanced video and the original video and the difference of the parameter dimensions of each video by using human vision, so that whether the enhanced video meets the requirements of the user or not is determined. However, when performing eye comparison and evaluation on videos, two video players need to be started on the same screen or two different screens to play an original video and an enhanced video respectively for eye visual observation and comparison, and when a user manually controls the playing, pausing and fast forward and rewind of the two video players, it is difficult to make the playing progress of the original video and the enhanced video at the same time, and on this basis, it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of evaluating the video enhancement effect by using the eye vision of the user.
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart illustrating steps of a video contrast playing method in an embodiment of the present application is shown, which includes the following steps S102 to S106.
S102: original video and enhanced video are acquired.
Wherein the enhanced video is: and enhancing the original video to obtain the video.
In brief, the enhancement processing in this embodiment refers to adjusting one or more video parameters, such as image quality and resolution, of a video to be processed by using a certain application software to enhance a display effect so as to obtain a processed video, and corresponds to an original video, that is, a video to be processed, and an enhanced video, that is, the processed video in this embodiment. In general, the original video and the enhanced video have the same duration, and the content played by the enhanced video and the original video at the same time has some visual difference. For example, the video is generally clearer for the enhanced video with enhanced image quality of the original video. In the video contrast playing method, the enhancement video may be the enhancement processing performed on the original video in any situation, and is not particularly limited in this embodiment.
In this embodiment, the enhanced video and the original video may be in any video format, and the video format in this embodiment is not limited, and may be, for example, MP4, MPEG, AVI, baiAVI, naivi, ASF, MOV, 3GP, WMV, DivX, XviD, RM, RMVB, FLV, F4V, and the like.
Specifically, in this embodiment, a specific video player provided by the user in this embodiment may include an option for selecting a video file, and the user obtains the video files of the original video and the enhanced video by selecting the video, where the video file may be a local video file or a video stream URL address, and when the video file is the video stream URL address, the video player may obtain the video file from the video stream URL address.
S104: and establishing a corresponding relation between an original video frame in the original video and an enhanced video frame in the enhanced video at the moment.
It is understood that the original video and the enhanced video are both composed of video frames, and for convenience of describing the present embodiment, the video frame of the original video is referred to as an original video frame, and the video frame of the enhanced video is referred to as an enhanced video frame. When playing video, the video frames which are still are actually played at a fixed speed to form a dynamic effect. In this embodiment, after the original video and the enhanced video are obtained, since the enhanced video is obtained by enhancing the original video, the durations of the original video and the enhanced video are the same. In this embodiment, when the durations of the original video and the enhanced video are the same, the number of original video frames and the number of enhanced video frames may be the same, or may be different. It is easily understood that if the frame rate of the original video is increased when the original video is subjected to the enhancement processing, the number of frames of the original video and the enhanced video in the same duration is different. Therefore, on the basis, the corresponding relation between each original video frame and each enhanced video frame can be established on the moment. The process of establishing the temporal correspondence between the original video frame in the original video and the enhanced video frame in the enhanced video may be as follows: and if the original video and the enhanced video have the same duration and the same frame rate, performing one-to-one correspondence on each original video frame and each enhanced video frame according to the time sequence, or if the original video and the enhanced video have the same duration and the different frame rates, performing the equal-proportion correspondence on each original video frame in each second and the plurality of enhanced video frames according to the time sequence.
It is easy to understand that, the enhancement processing on the original video to obtain the enhanced video corresponds to the video frame level, that is, the enhancement processing on the original video frame to obtain the enhanced video frame.
As a simple example, assuming that the original video and the enhanced video have the same frame rate under the condition of the same duration, for example, the frame rates of the original video and the enhanced video are both 30 frames per second, the 1 st original video frame of the 1 st second of the original video and the 1 st enhanced video frame of the 1 st second of the enhanced video may be associated with each other at the time; and establishing a corresponding relation on the time of the 11 th original video frame of the 10 th second of the original video and the 11 th enhanced video frame of the 10 th second of the enhanced video. The correspondence between the original video frame and the enhanced video frame at other similar time points can be analogized, and the description is omitted in this embodiment.
As another simple example, assuming that the original video and the enhanced video have different frame rates for the same duration, for example, the frame rate of the original video is 30 frames per second, and the frame rate of the enhanced video is 60 frames per second, the 1 st original video frame of the 1 st second of the original video and the 1 st and 2 nd enhanced video frames of the 1 st second of the enhanced video may be associated with each other in time; and establishing a corresponding relation on the time of the 11 th original video frame of the 10 th second of the original video and the 21 st and 22 nd enhanced video frames of the 10 th second of the enhanced video. The correspondence between the original video frame and the enhanced video frame at other similar time points can be analogized, and the description is omitted in this embodiment.
In this embodiment, the process of establishing the temporal correspondence between the original video frame in the original video and the enhanced video frame in the enhanced video may be automatically performed after the user selects two video files in the specific video player in step S102.
S106: and filling the original video and the enhanced video into the same video playing window for synchronous contrast playing according to the corresponding relation between the original video frame and the enhanced video frame.
In this embodiment, after the original video and the enhanced video are obtained, the original video and the enhanced video are simultaneously filled into the same video playing window to be played, and the original video and the enhanced video are synchronously played according to the corresponding relationship between the original video frame and the enhanced video frame, so that the original video and the enhanced video are simultaneously played in one video playing window, and a user can conveniently judge the video enhancement effect of the enhanced video relative to the original video by using human vision.
Specifically, according to the corresponding relationship between the original video frame and the enhanced video frame, when the original video and the enhanced video are played simultaneously in the same video playing window, the content displayed in the video playing window by the original video and the content displayed in the video playing window by the enhanced video played at the same time are a pair of the original video frame and the enhanced video frame having the corresponding relationship at the same time.
Specifically, the video playing window in this embodiment is a video playing window in a specific video player provided in this embodiment, in order to meet the requirements of normal playing and convenient observation of the original video and the enhanced video, at least operation options such as pause and play are provided, and a user can control synchronous playing of the two videos by controlling these options. Of course, other operation options are possible, such as repeat play, etc.
Therefore, the video contrast playing method in this embodiment directly and synchronously plays the two original videos and the enhanced video in one video playing window without the need of the user to start the two players to manually adjust the operations of playing, pausing, and the like of the two players, and displays the original video frame and the enhanced video frame corresponding to the original video frame in the same video playing window while the two videos are played, so that the accuracy of the evaluation of the video enhancement effect by the user using the human vision can be ensured to the maximum extent.
It should be noted that the shape of the video playing window in the present embodiment includes, but is not limited to, a rectangle, but in order to enable the original video and the enhanced video to be better played and displayed in the video playing window, a rectangle is preferred, and the following description also takes the case that the shape of the video playing window is a rectangle as an example.
In this embodiment, optionally, the original video and the enhanced video may be respectively displayed by setting two image layers on a video playing window, so as to facilitate contrast playing, specifically, the video playing window includes a first video image layer and a second video image layer, where the first video image layer and the second video image layer have the same size, and therefore step S106 specifically includes: and filling the original video to a first video layer for playing according to the corresponding relation between the original video frame and the enhanced video frame, and filling the enhanced video to a second video layer for synchronous contrast playing.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the video player adopts two video playing kernels to simultaneously start two playing processes, so as to respectively play the original video and the enhanced video, thereby ensuring that the two videos do not conflict during playing. The two playing processes are a first playing process and a second playing process, the original video is filled in the first video layer and played through the first playing process, and the enhanced video is filled in the second video layer and played through the second playing process.
The first video layer and the second video layer have the same size, so that in the embodiment, the original video and the enhanced video can be synchronously contrasted and played in the video playing window in the same size, and the effect during contrasting and playing is the best.
Preferably, the first video layer has the same aspect ratio as the original video, and the second video layer has the same aspect ratio as the enhanced video.
On the basis, preferably, in the video contrast playing method in this embodiment, two different arrangement modes of the first video layer and the second video layer are provided, so that when an original video and an enhanced video are contrastingly played, a user can determine that a video enhancement effect has a more intuitive feeling, and the accuracy is higher. Both are described in detail below.
As a first preferred setting manner, the first video layer, and the second video layer are arranged in the video playing window without overlapping each other.
It can be seen that in a first preferred arrangement, the first video layer and the second video layer can be considered as separate devices.
Specifically, when the first video layer and the second video layer are arranged in the video playing window without overlapping with each other, the first video layer and the second video layer may be regularly tiled in the vertical side direction of the video playing window, or may be regularly tiled in the horizontal side direction of the video playing window, and the first video layer and the second video layer without overlapping with each other may not be shielded from each other, so as to ensure that the original video and the enhanced video do not interfere with each other when the video displaying window is synchronously contrasted and played. In addition, the first video layer and the second video layer are located next to each other.
For easy understanding, referring to fig. 2, an example of an arrangement manner of first optional first video layer and second video layer in the first embodiment of the present application is shown. In this example, the first video layer and the second video layer are regularly tiled from right to left without overlapping in the horizontal direction of the video playing window.
More preferably, in order to further facilitate a user to compare and observe the enhancement effect of the enhanced video with respect to the original video, the two horizontal edges of the first video layer and the second video layer may be spread equally over the length of the video playing window, and the two vertical edges of the first video layer and the second video layer may maintain a consistent length in a video length-to-width ratio.
In order to further improve the effect of contrast observation when the user synchronously contrasts and plays between the original video and the enhanced video, the video contrast playing method further comprises the following steps: and when the original video frame is completely displayed on the first video layer, the enhanced video frame corresponding to the original video frame is simultaneously and completely displayed on the second video layer. Specifically, at the same time when the two videos are played, the first video layer may display a complete original video frame in the original video, and the second display image may display a complete enhanced video frame in the enhanced video, so that a user may conveniently and accurately determine an enhancement effect by comparing a difference between the complete original video frame and the complete enhanced video frame.
As a second preferred setting manner, the first video layer includes a first area and a second area, the second video layer includes a third area and a fourth area, the first area covers above the third area, the fourth area covers above the second area, the size of the first area is the same as that of the third area, and the size of the second area is the same as that of the fourth area.
The original video frame comprises a first sub-original video frame and a second sub-original video frame, and the enhanced video frame corresponding to the original video frame comprises a first sub-enhanced video frame and a second sub-enhanced video frame, wherein the first sub-enhanced video frame can be obtained by enhancing the first sub-original video frame, and the second sub-enhanced video frame can be obtained by enhancing the second sub-original video frame.
On this basis, the video contrast playing method further comprises the following steps:
when the first sub-original video frame is displayed in the video playing window through the first area, the second sub-enhanced video frame is synchronously displayed in the video playing window through the fourth area, and the second sub-original video frame and the first sub-enhanced video frame are respectively hidden below the second sub-enhanced video frame and the first sub-original video frame.
It can be seen that in a second preferred arrangement, the size of the first video layer and the size of the second video layer are both the same as the size of the video window, and the first video layer and the second video layer may be considered to be arranged overlapping each other and each displays a portion of the original video frame and a portion of the enhanced video frame. Wherein the first area displays a part of the original video frame, i.e. a first sub-original image frame, and the fourth area displays a part of the enhanced video frame, i.e. a second sub-enhanced image frame. The second sub-original video frame is blocked by the fourth enhanced video frame from being visible below, and the first sub-enhanced video frame is blocked by the first enhanced video frame from being visible below. For ease of understanding, referring to fig. 3, an example of an arrangement of a second optional first video layer and a second video layer according to the first embodiment of the present application is shown.
Specifically, the video playing window further includes a dividing line, the first video layer is divided into the first region and the second region by the dividing line, and the second video layer is divided into the third region and the fourth region by the dividing line.
Optionally, in one embodiment, the dividing line is set along a vertical side direction of the video playing window, the first region and the second region of the first video layer are distributed along a horizontal side direction of the video playing window, and the third region and the fourth region of the second video layer are distributed along the horizontal side direction of the video playing window. Of course, the dividing line may also be oblique with respect to the vertical side direction of the video playing window, in an implementation manner, the dividing line may also be set along the horizontal side direction of the video playing window, and may also be one of a curve, a broken line, a closed graph line, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment.
Optionally, the dividing line is along a vertical side of the video playing window and is disposed at the center of the video playing window.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the first video layer and the second video layer are divided into the first area and the third area, the second area and the fourth area with the same size through the same dividing line, so that when the original video and the enhanced video are at the same playing time, the original video frame and the corresponding enhanced video frame of the original video and the enhanced video can be combined to display a complete image through the first area of the first video layer and the fourth area of the second video layer, and since the image has the original video frame and each part of the enhanced video frame at the same time, when the original video and the enhanced video are synchronously played in a contrast manner, a user can conveniently determine the enhanced effect of the enhanced video relative to the original video through visual observation of human eyes.
In this embodiment, the arrangement modes of the two first video layers and the second video layer may be flexibly switched, and specifically, the arrangement mode may be switched by clicking an option in a specific video player in this embodiment, for example, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, if a user clicks a "separate" option on the upper right, the arrangement mode is switched to the first arrangement mode, and if a user clicks an "overlap" option on the upper right, the arrangement mode is switched to the second arrangement mode.
Optionally, in order to facilitate flexible adjustment of the display scales of the original video and the enhanced video, the video contrast playing method further includes:
responding to a position adjusting instruction for the dividing line to adjust the position of the dividing line on the video playing window; and changing the proportion of the first area in the first video layer and the proportion of the fourth area in the second video layer according to the position of the dividing line on the video playing window.
Specifically, the manner of applying the position adjustment instruction to the dividing line may be a mouse-hold sliding, a mouse-skip sliding, a keyboard direction key shortcut, a screen touch finger dragging, other gesture control, and the like. It is to be understood that there may be one or more of these modes of application. Taking the example of mouse-hold sliding as an example, when the original video and the enhanced video are synchronously played in contrast, the video player runs a control process for monitoring the position of the dividing line in real time, and when a user adjusts the position of the dividing line, the mouse is used for pressing the dividing line to slide left and right in the screen to drag the dividing line, the control process samples according to a certain time frequency (for example, 10 milliseconds is carried out for 1 time, or other frequencies are not limited in the embodiment), the position of the dividing line is continuously acquired, each time the position of the dividing line is acquired, and sending the position data of the dividing line to the first playing process and the second playing process at the same time, and then recalculating the size and the position of the first area and the second area of the first video layer and the size and the position of the third area and the fourth area of the second video layer so as to update the real-time display in the first video layer and the second video layer in real time.
Optionally, in order to effectively adjust the size and the position of the original video and the enhanced video so as to enable a user to obtain a better viewing experience, the video contrast playing method further includes: responding to a zooming operation instruction for the original video or the enhanced video to synchronously reduce or synchronously enlarge the display size of the original video and the display size of the enhanced video on the video playing window.
Specifically, the application manner of the zoom operation instruction may be a mouse operation, a finger touch operation, a keyboard key operation, and the like, where the mouse operation may refer to using a mouse pointer as operation point data and a scroll distance of a mouse wheel as a zoom amount; the finger touch operation may refer to using a touch midpoint as operation point data, and using a finger opening and closing amount as a zoom amount; keyboard key operations may refer to performing zoom functions with the "+" and "-" keys on the control keyboard. Keys for zooming in or zooming out can also be displayed in the video playing window, and during zooming, the central point of the first video layer or the second video layer can be used as operation point data, and each key button operation fixes a proper zooming amount (for example, 10%). It is to be understood that there may be one or more of these modes of application.
More specifically, during video playing, the control process monitors operation point data on a first video layer of the original video or a second video layer of the enhanced video, and sends the operation point data and a zoom amount to the first playing process and the second playing process respectively, the two playing processes take the same position of the layer corresponding to the operation point as a center, and the same zoom amount enlarges or reduces the layer, so that the synchronous reduction or synchronous enlargement of the display size of the original video and the enhanced video of the control process on a video playing window of the control process is completed.
In this embodiment, the display sizes of the two videos during playing in the video playing window can be synchronously controlled to be reduced and enlarged, so as to clearly compare the details of the two video pictures.
Optionally, the two videos can be synchronously zoomed in or out, and the picture can be dragged to display the area expanded to the outside of the boundary. When zooming and dragging operations are performed on any one picture, the two pictures simultaneously act on the two video pictures, and zooming and dragging at the same proportion and at the same distance are synchronized. Accordingly, the screen dragging may be, but is not limited to, a mouse wheel, a button click, a keyboard shortcut, a screen touch gesture control, and the like.
Specifically, when the video is played, the control process monitors and collects a direction value and a displacement generated by operations such as mouse or touch and the like, and sends the direction value and the displacement to the two playing processes, and the two playing processes act on respective video layers according to the direction and the displacement, so that the two video layers generate image movement in the same direction and at the same distance.
In another implementation, zooming and dragging either video layer may operate across the pictures, acting on both video pictures simultaneously.
Optionally, in order to facilitate the user to control the video playing progress, the video comparison playing method further includes:
displaying a playing progress bar corresponding to the duration on the video playing window according to the duration of the original video or the enhanced video;
and responding to a progress adjusting instruction aiming at the playing progress bar, and synchronously adjusting the original video and the enhanced video to the moment corresponding to the progress adjusting instruction for playing.
Because the duration of the original video is equal to that of the enhanced video, the playing progress bar can be displayed on the video playing window according to the duration of one of the original video and the enhanced video, and therefore, the control of synchronous contrast playing of the two videos can be completed only by one playing progress bar. The style of the playing progress bar is not limited in this embodiment.
Specifically, the application manner of the progress adjustment instruction of the playing progress bar may be, but is not limited to, clicking a button with a mouse, a keyboard shortcut, a mouse or finger touch dragging, and the like. Taking finger touch dragging as an example, when a video is played, when a user drags a playing progress bar with a finger, along with the change of a mouse or a touch operation progress time point, a control process samples according to a certain time frequency (for example, 10 milliseconds for 1 time), continuously acquires progress time, sends progress time parameters to two playing processes every time the progress time is acquired, and when the two playing processes receive the progress time parameters, the playing time points of corresponding videos are respectively adjusted to jump to response positions, so that the positions consistent with the playing progress bar time points are synchronously maintained. Therefore, at any time of playing the progress bar, the original video frames and the enhanced video frames displayed by the original video and the enhanced video are all at the same time, and the corresponding relation on the time is met.
In addition, in this embodiment, the operation control manner for synchronously playing the two videos and synchronously pausing the playing of the two videos may be, but is not limited to, clicking a button with a mouse, shortcut keys on a keyboard, dragging with a mouse or a finger touch, and the like. As an exemplary illustration, referring to fig. 2 or fig. 3, by clicking a "play/pause" button, the control process may send an instruction for synchronous play or synchronous pause to the two play processes simultaneously, and after receiving the instruction, the two play processes respectively control play and pause of the two videos, so that the two videos are played or paused synchronously, thereby further facilitating the user operation.
Therefore, in the video contrast playing method in the embodiment of the application, because the original video and the enhanced video obtained after the original video enhancement processing can be obtained, the corresponding relationship of the original video frame in the original video and the enhanced video frame in the enhanced video at the moment can be established, and further the original video and the enhanced video can be filled into the same video playing window for synchronous contrast playing according to the corresponding relationship of the original video frame and the enhanced video frame, the original video and the enhanced video can be ensured to be synchronously played when a user evaluates the video enhancement effect by using the human eye vision, and the accuracy of the evaluation of the video enhancement effect by using the human eye vision by the user can be ensured to the maximum extent.
In addition, in the embodiment, the original video and the enhanced video are synchronously compared and played through one video playing window, so that the sight of a user does not need to be switched back and forth to be compared on the two playing windows, the effect memory time difference on human eyes and sense organs cannot be generated due to the playing time difference and the window distance, and the efficiency of comparison and playing is improved; and further, the display effect difference generated by software and hardware under different display optimization processing and different playing environments when two different types of screens or different players play videos is avoided, so that the accuracy of observing the contrast of the enhanced video and the original video effect can be ensured.
Further, in this embodiment, different arrangements of the first video layer and the second video layer are provided, so that the image quality contrast between the enhanced video and the original video can be better performed. The in-process can be adjusted the broadcast progress wantonly, change the picture layer mode of arranging, zoom video display size, drag the video, adjust the operation of cut line position, these operations are not restricted the order, and suitable adjustment as required carries out the better video image quality contrast of effect constantly for the user has better use experience.
