Abstract
The invention discloses a water meter with adjustable flow characteristics, which belongs to the field of water meters and comprises a bracket and adjusting pieces, wherein the adjusting pieces are detachably arranged on the bracket, and the volume of water in a rotating cavity of an impeller is changed by changing the number of the adjusting pieces, so that the linearity of an error curve of the water meter is adjusted, and the water meter is simple in integral structure and convenient to adjust.

Compared with other water meters, the agricultural water meter has a special structure, the flow is measured through the impeller arranged on the upper part of the meter shell, the water flow only impacts a part of the impeller, the speed of the whole section is not integrated, and the asymmetrical speed distribution or radial component can cause larger difference between the average flow velocity of the pipeline and the recording speed of the water meter, so that the metering precision is influenced. The agricultural water meter generally moves up and down through the inlet adjusting device to change the water flow speed distribution to adjust the metering accuracy of the water meter, but the adjustment is only limited to an integral parallel movement error curve, and once the error curve has poor linearity, the adjustment is difficult.

The bracket 10 is provided with a plurality of mounting posts 11, and grooves 12 are arranged on the mounting posts 11. The grooves 12 are rectilinear and perpendicular to the horizontal plane. Specifically, a part of the mounting posts 11 are U-shaped, two grooves 12 are formed in the mounting posts 11, and the directions of the two grooves 12 are opposite. Part of the mounting posts 11 are rectangular, and a groove 12 is formed in the mounting posts 11. An installation space 13 is formed between the two opposite grooves 12. The height of the grooves 12 is the same as that of the installation space 13, and the height of the grooves 12 is greater than that of the adjusting sheets 20, so that a plurality of adjusting sheets 20 can be installed between the two grooves 12.
Each adjusting piece 20 comprises a main body 21 and two mounting ends 22. The two mounting ends 22 are located at the two ends of the main body 21, respectively. Each mounting end 22 includes an extension 220 and a mounting portion 221. The extension 220 extends from the main body 21, and the mounting portion 221 extends from the extension 220. The mounting portion 221 is parallel to the main body 21 and is located in a different plane. The mounting portions 221 of the two mounting ends 22 are located on the same plane. This design makes the body 21 of the regulator blade 20 more deformable and does not interfere with the mounting of the two mounting ends 22.
When the water meter with adjustable flow characteristics is used, the two mounting parts 221 of the adjusting piece 20 are mounted in the groove 12, so that the adjusting piece 20 can be detachably mounted in the bracket 10, and the volume of water in the impeller rotating cavity is changed by changing the number of the adjusting pieces 20, so that the linearity of an error curve of the water meter is adjusted, and the water meter is simple in integral structure and convenient to adjust. The height of each adjusting piece 20 is 5mm, 8 layers of adjusting pieces 20 can be added altogether, the structure is simple, the adjusting range is wide, and the linearity adjusting requirements of different error curves can be met. The volume of water in the impeller rotating cavity has great influence on the friction resistance moment of the fluid received by the blades and the starting flow of the water meter, so that the water volume is reduced, the starting flow is reduced, and the water meter is more sensitive; meanwhile, the friction resistance moment of the fluid is reduced, so that the rotating speed of the impeller at a small flow point is greatly increased compared with that at a large flow point, and the possibility is provided for the linearity adjustment of an error curve. As shown by a large amount of experimental data, the error of the small flow point increases by about 1% in the forward direction compared to the large flow point for each additional layer of tabs 20. The combined application of the structure and the existing adjusting device not only can realize the omnibearing adjustment of an error curve, but also can provide an effective technical means for developing the agricultural water meter with high range ratio (R80).
