The identification information for identifying the user may be fingerprint identification, face identification or voice identification, which is not limited herein. Taking fingerprint identification as an example, each user can register and input own fingerprint information before using the gas water heater. Because each user has multiple times of water consumption at one water consumption end, the water consumption parameters have multiple groups, and one group with the highest water consumption temperature or the highest water consumption flow in the multiple groups of data can be called. In order to avoid the situation that the data occupy too much memory and the situation that the data storage time is too long and the current actual situation is inconsistent, in the embodiment, the water usage parameter recorded each time is covered with the water usage parameter recorded last time, so that the water usage parameter keeps timeliness and is more in line with the latest water usage habit of the user.

and when a temperature adjusting instruction is received, controlling the temperature setting value not to exceed the target temperature value.

The control method of the gas water heater according to claim 1, wherein the identity information of the user is recognized at the water consumption end of the gas water heater, the water consumption parameter is recorded when the water is consumed, and the water consumption end information, the identity information and the water consumption parameter are correspondingly stored.
