Description

Sliding rail assembly
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a slide rail assembly, and more particularly, to a slide rail assembly capable of optimizing a configuration of a slide rail supporting structure.
Background
Fig. 1 to 3 illustrate a slide rail assembly configured with a slide rail support structure. The slide assembly includes a first rail 100, a second rail 102, a third rail 104, a first ball device 106, a second ball device 108, a first stopper 110, a second stopper 112, a first bracket 114, and a second bracket 116. Wherein the first ball device 106 is disposed between the first rail 100 and the second rail 102. The second ball means 108 is disposed between the second rail 102 and the third rail 104. The first stopper 110 is fixedly disposed adjacent to the front end of the first rail 100 for preventing the first ball device 106 from sliding out of the front end of the first rail 100 and providing support for the second rail 102. Similarly, the second stopper 112 is fixedly disposed adjacent to the front end of the second rail 102 for stopping the second ball device 108 from sliding out of the front end of the second rail 102 and providing support for the third rail 104. The first bracket 114 and the second bracket 116 are respectively disposed at two ends of the first rail 100 for being mounted on a front column and a rear column of a rack (rack), for example, fig. 3 shows that the first bracket 114 is mounted on the front column 118 of the rack (rack), and a supporting member 120 (as shown in fig. 1 and 3) is respectively disposed at an upper side and a lower side of the first bracket 114, so that when the second rail 102 is pulled out and displaced into a channel 122 defined by the upper side and the lower side of the first bracket 114 to contact with the supporting member 120, the supporting member 120 can provide support for the second rail 102, thereby enhancing the supporting capability between the first bracket 114 and the second rail 102.
Fig. 1 to 3 show a prior art design of the applicant and have filed european patent application, which is approved to be published in EP2777431B 1. However, since the load supporting capability of the slide rail required by the chassis (chassis) with different specifications is different, many different cross-sectional configurations of the slide rail are derived to meet the installation requirements of different chassis, but the support member 120 of the prior art needs to be additionally configured and also ensures that the support member 120 bears the contact structure at the pull-out position of the slide rail (e.g., the second rail 102), so that effective support can be achieved. In addition, since the supporting member 120 is disposed on the first bracket 114, a gap 124 is formed between the supporting member 120 and the first stopper 110, and thus, there is still room for improvement in structural strength. On the other hand, since the supporting member 120 is disposed on the first bracket 114, in order to match the slide rail with different chassis (e.g. 1U chassis or 2U chassis) specifications, the bracket should be prepared with 1U or 2U or other specifications of material to match the installation between the slide rail and the bracket, which causes additional cost and burden of inventory management due to additional material preparation.
Therefore, the present invention was developed in order to optimize the design of the solution.
