Description

Automatic backlight adjusting method and automatic backlight adjusting system
Technical Field

Background
The rear view mirror is one of the essential parts of the automobile. The rear view mirrors can be classified into two types according to the installation position, the rear view mirrors positioned on the left and right sides of the head of the automobile are outer rear view mirrors, and the rear view mirrors positioned on the inner side of the windshield of the automobile are inner rear view mirrors. When a driver sits on a cab seat, the conditions of the road surface at the rear and the left and right sides of the automobile can be directly acquired through the rearview mirror, and the visual field range of the driver is expanded.
At present, with the development of electronic technology, the traditional inside rear-view mirror in the vehicle tends to be replaced by the streaming media rear-view mirror. The streaming media rearview mirror, also called an electronic rearview mirror, is a rearview mirror that uses a display screen to replace the previous automobile reflector, and takes a real-time image of the road condition behind the vehicle through a camera, and then displays the image on the display screen. For the driver, because the brightness of the surrounding environment of the automobile changes constantly during the driving process, and the existing stream media rearview mirror does not have the automatic backlight adjusting function, when the automobile drives into places with weak ambient light ratio, such as an underground parking lot, a tunnel, a shady path and the like from the bottom of the sunlight with strong ambient light ratio, the driver can feel dazzling due to the excessively bright screen of the stream media rearview mirror, or when the automobile drives out from places with weak ambient light ratio, such as the underground parking lot, the tunnel, the shady path and the like and reenters into the bottom of the sunlight with strong ambient light ratio, the driver can feel unclear display pictures due to the excessively dark screen of the stream media rearview mirror, and the driving safety hazard is increased.
Therefore, there is a need for an improved streaming rearview mirror.
The above information is given as background information only to aid in understanding the present disclosure, and no determination or admission is made as to whether any of the above is available as prior art against the present disclosure.

The technical scheme of the invention is further explained by the specific implementation mode in combination with the attached drawings.
Example one
In view of the defects of the prior art, the inventor of the invention actively researches and innovates based on abundant practical experience and professional knowledge in many years of automobile industry and by matching with the application of theory, so as to create a feasible backlight adjusting technology, thereby ensuring that the technology has higher practicability. After continuous research, design and repeated trial and improvement, the invention with practical value is finally created.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of an automatic backlight adjustment method, which is applicable to a scene in which a stream media rearview mirror is backlight-adjusted, and is implemented by an automatic backlight adjustment system, which can be implemented by software and/or hardware and is integrated inside the stream media rearview mirror. As shown in fig. 1, the automatic backlight adjusting method may include the steps of:
s101, collecting the illumination intensity value of the ambient light.
It should be noted that, in general, a light-sensitive element is installed in an automobile, and the light-sensitive element is used to collect the illumination intensity value of the ambient light. The acquisition process may be always performed, or may be performed according to a preset acquisition frequency, for example, once every 800 ms.
Preferably, in this embodiment, the step S101 may further include the following steps:
collecting illumination intensity values in front and back directions;
and taking the larger one of the two illumination intensity values as the current illumination intensity value.
It should be noted that, actually, there are two photosensitive elements on the streaming media rearview mirror, and the two photosensitive elements are respectively disposed at front and rear positions of the streaming media rearview mirror, and also because of different installation positions, the illumination intensity values of the ambient light respectively collected by the two photosensitive elements have differences, so the embodiment is designed to allow the streaming media rearview mirror to read and compare the illumination intensity values of the ambient light respectively collected by the front and rear two photosensitive elements, and then the one with the larger value is taken as the current illumination intensity value.
S102, determining a target backlight brightness value corresponding to the illumination intensity value and the backlight adjusting grade from a preset backlight adjusting table according to the illumination intensity value and the selected backlight adjusting grade.
It should be noted that the preset backlight adjustment table is set by the technician through experience, and the experience is obtained based on specific experimental results.
In this embodiment, the determined target backlight brightness value not only corresponds to the collected illumination intensity value, but also corresponds to the selected backlight adjustment level. The backlight adjustment level may be selectable by a user, for example, the backlight adjustment level may be divided into five levels, where the backlight adjustment of the first level is relatively darkest in all backlight adjustment levels, and the backlight adjustment of the fifth level is relatively brightest in all backlight adjustment levels. Specifically, under different backlight adjustment levels, even though the same illumination intensity value is acquired, the corresponding target backlight brightness values determined finally are different due to different backlight adjustment levels. In short, different backlight adjustment levels are in a sequentially increasing or decreasing situation.
The purpose of designing the backlight adjustment level in the embodiment is to provide more backlight adjustment schemes for the driver to select, so that the driver is expected to find a backlight adjustment level which is most suitable for the driver to observe, and personalized customization is realized.
S103, adjusting the current backlight brightness value to the target backlight brightness value.
It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, the backlight (display screen brightness) of the screen is controlled by the MCU through outputting a PWM (pulse width modulation) waveform. Namely, the backlight brightness is adjusted by changing the duty ratio of the PWM. The screen backlight PWM duty cycle ranges from 0% (off screen) to 100% (maximum brightness).
According to the automatic backlight adjusting method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the backlight brightness of the streaming media rearview mirror is automatically adjusted according to the illumination intensity value of the ambient light and the selected backlight adjusting level, so that the viewing effect of the streaming media rearview mirror is not easily influenced by the brightness change of the external environment, the viewing comfort of a driver can be improved, and the driving safety can be improved.
Example two
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart illustrating an automatic backlight adjusting method according to an embodiment of the invention. On the basis of the technical solution provided by the first embodiment, before the step S101 of "acquiring the illumination intensity value of the ambient light", the method is further optimized. The explanation of the same or corresponding terms as those in the above embodiments is not repeated herein, and specifically, the method provided in this embodiment may further include the following steps:
receiving an input operation instruction;
and selecting a backlight adjusting level of the streaming media rearview mirror in response to the operation instruction.
Based on the above optimization, as shown in fig. 2, the automatic backlight adjusting method provided in this embodiment may specifically include the following steps:
s201, receiving an input operation instruction.
It should be noted that the input mode of the received operation instruction includes, but is not limited to, key input, touch input, APP input, and voice input.
Preferably, in this embodiment, before the step S201, the method further includes:
and pre-establishing a corresponding relation among the illumination intensity value, the backlight adjusting level and the target backlight brightness value to form a backlight adjusting table.
It should be noted that, the light intensity value, the backlight adjustment level and the target backlight brightness value in the backlight adjustment table are set by a technician through experience, and the setting provides a modifiable mechanism, that is, the driver can perform personalized modification in the later specific use process. Specifically, the backlight adjustment table may refer to fig. 3, where the ambient brightness in fig. 3 is an illumination intensity value of the ambient light collected in the embodiment, the first level to the fifth level in fig. 3 are backlight adjustment levels in the embodiment, and a numerical value of each level in fig. 3 is a target backlight brightness value in the embodiment.
S202, selecting the backlight adjusting level of the streaming media rearview mirror in response to the operation instruction.
It should be noted that, the driver can select backlight adjustment levels with different levels as needed at any time, and after the selection, the backlight adjustment of the streaming media rearview mirror according to the embodiment is performed according to the latest selected backlight adjustment level.
And S203, collecting the illumination intensity value of the ambient light.
S204, determining a target backlight brightness value corresponding to the illumination intensity value and the backlight adjusting level from a preset backlight adjusting table according to the illumination intensity value and the selected backlight adjusting level.
S205, adjusting the current backlight brightness value to the target backlight brightness value.
EXAMPLE III
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic flow chart illustrating an automatic backlight adjusting method according to an embodiment of the invention. On the basis of the technical solution provided by the first embodiment, after "acquiring the illumination intensity value of the ambient light" in step S101, the method is further optimized. The explanation of the same or corresponding terms as those in the above embodiments is not repeated herein, and specifically, the method provided in this embodiment may further include the following steps:
calculating the difference value between the illumination intensity value and the illumination intensity value collected at the previous time;
judging whether the absolute value of the difference value is within a preset range or not;
if so, not adjusting the current backlight brightness value;
and if not, adjusting the current backlight brightness value.
Based on the above optimization, as shown in fig. 4, the automatic backlight adjusting method provided in this embodiment may specifically include the following steps:
s301, collecting the illumination intensity value of the ambient light.
S302, calculating a difference value between the illumination intensity value and the illumination intensity value collected at the previous time.
S303, judging whether the absolute value of the difference value is within a preset range; if yes, step S304 is executed, and if no, step S305 is executed.
The preset range is set by the skilled person through experience, which is obtained based on specific experimental results, and may be any value.
And S304, not adjusting the current backlight brightness value.
S305, adjusting the current backlight brightness value.
It should be noted that, in order to prevent the flickering phenomenon that may result from a sudden and dim screen due to frequent backlight brightness adjustment, the embodiment performs hysteresis processing after collecting the illumination intensity value of the ambient light. Specifically, whether the absolute value of the difference value between the illumination intensity value collected this time and the illumination intensity value collected last time is within the preset range or not is compared, so that whether the illumination intensity value collected this time needs to be adjusted or not is judged, the number of times of backlight brightness adjustment is reduced, backlight brightness can be stably output, and visual perception is improved.
S306, according to the illumination intensity value and the selected backlight adjusting level, determining a target backlight brightness value corresponding to the illumination intensity value and the backlight adjusting level from a preset backlight adjusting table.
S307, adjusting the current backlight brightness value to the target backlight brightness value.
Example four
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic flow chart illustrating an automatic backlight adjusting method according to an embodiment of the invention. In this embodiment, based on the technical solution provided in the first embodiment, the step S103 of adjusting the current backlight brightness value to the target backlight brightness value is further optimized. The same or corresponding explanations of terms as those in the above embodiments are omitted here, namely:
and performing step adjustment on the current backlight brightness value according to a preset step value until the target backlight brightness value is adjusted.
Based on the above optimization, as shown in fig. 5, the automatic backlight adjusting method provided in this embodiment may specifically include the following steps:
s401, collecting the illumination intensity value of the ambient light.
S402, determining a target backlight brightness value corresponding to the illumination intensity value and the backlight adjusting grade from a preset backlight adjusting table according to the illumination intensity value and the selected backlight adjusting grade.
And S403, performing stepping adjustment on the current backlight brightness value according to a preset stepping value until the target backlight brightness value is adjusted.
The step value refers to the amplitude at each backlight adjustment. The preset step value is set by a technician through experience, which is obtained based on specific experimental results and can be any value.
In order to make the backlight brightness change of the screen smooth and not generate sudden flicker, the backlight brightness adjustment in this embodiment adopts a step adjustment method, specifically, when the brightness of the ambient light changes and the screen backlight brightness of the streaming media rearview mirror needs to change, the PWM adjustment of the screen backlight is not directly switched from the current backlight brightness to the target backlight brightness value, but adopts a step adjustment method, for example, the PWM is changed from 50 to 30, and the adjustment process is as follows: 50 → 49 → 48 → … … → 32 → 31 → 30, the step value is 1. With software settings, the time to adjust 1 PWM at a time can be 5 ms.
