A laser scanning range finder comprises a range finder body (1), a laser emitting end (101), a laser receiving end (102), a protection mechanism (2), two connecting mechanisms (3) and two handheld mechanisms (4) which are arranged on the range finder body (1), and is characterized in that the two connecting mechanisms (3) are fixedly connected with the protection mechanism (2), the two handheld mechanisms (4) are respectively positioned at two sides of the range finder body (1) and fixedly connected with the range finder body (1), the protection mechanism (2) comprises a rectangular box (201) and a cleaning mechanism (202) arranged in the rectangular box (201), the handheld mechanism (4) comprises a cloth strip (408), when the protection mechanism (2) is fixedly connected with the range finder body (1) through the two connecting mechanisms (3) and the two handheld mechanisms (4), the protection mechanism (2) can protect the range finder body (1), and the cleaning mechanism (202) can clean the laser emitting end (101) and the laser receiving end (102), at the moment, the two cloth strips (408) are in a state of being stretched and attached to the range finder body (1), when the range finder body (1) and the protection mechanism (2) are separated, the two cloth strips (408) are curved in an arc shape, and fingers pass through the two cloth strips (408) to hold the range finder body (1).
