It should also be understood that the term "and/or" as used herein is meant to encompass any and all possible combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.
In the related art, the material of the negative electrode is copper. At the moment, the tab installation process specifically adopts a laser cleaning mode to remove part of the negative electrode slurry coating on the electrode negative electrode sheet, so that a tab groove is formed. After that, the tab is prepared in advance and installed in the tab groove. However, the material of the positive electrode is aluminum. Due to the low melting point of aluminum, the electrode paste layer cannot be removed by using a laser cleaning method.
In some embodiments, the tab installation process uses a scraper to scrape off the layer of electrode slurry on the electrode sheet to form the tab slot. However, the method has high process difficulty, and the problem that the pole piece is damaged by the scraper or the electrode slurry layer is not completely removed easily occurs. Moreover, different scrapers need to be prepared for different types of electrode ear plates, and equipment cost of the process is increased.
In other embodiments, the tab mounting process is attached to the electrode sheet using a foam adhesive, followed by applying a slurry to the electrode sheet. When the slurry is baked at high temperature, the foaming glue automatically falls off to form the polar lug groove. However, the cost of the foam is high. In addition, after high-temperature baking, a special foam rubber cleaning device is required to be matched to ensure that the foam rubber completely falls off, so that the manufacturing process cost and the process equipment cost are increased.
Based on the above, embodiments of the present disclosure provide an electrode tab installation process, a wiper, and a battery.
Fig. 1 is a flow diagram illustrating an electrode tab installation process according to an exemplary embodiment. As shown in fig. 1, the electrode tab mounting process includes:
and 101, removing the electrode slurry layer covering the set area of the electrode plate by using a wiping piece to form an electrode lug groove. Wherein the wiping member has an organic solvent adsorbed thereon.
Fig. 2-1-2-3 are schematic diagrams illustrating various states during an electrode tab installation process according to an exemplary embodiment. The electrode slurry is an electrode slurry layer which is formed and solidified on the electrode sheet by using organic matters as solvents through the working procedures of coating, baking and the like. At this time, as shown in fig. 2-1, the electrode sheet 110 is externally coated with an electrode paste layer 120.
Further, as shown in fig. 2-2, in step 101, the wiper 200 includes: a driving portion 210, a clamping portion 220, and a wiping portion 230. The clamping portion 220 is connected to the driving portion 210 at one end and connected to the wiping portion 230 at the other end. The driving part 210 is used to control the clamping part 220 and the wiping part 230 to wipe the electrode paste layer 120 of the electrode piece 110 according to the driving instruction to set the wiping parameters.
The wiping portion 230 adsorbs an organic solvent. Optionally, prior to step 101, the process further comprises soaking the wipe in an organic solvent. Specifically, the wiping unit 230 is immersed in an organic solvent. Among them, the wiping part 230 has a porous structure (e.g., foam, etc.) to adsorb a sufficient amount of organic solvent. Moreover, the selectable wiping part 230 is made of a flexible material so as to avoid damaging the structure of the electrode sheet 110 in the wiping process.
Optionally, the organic solvent comprises at least one of the following components: n-methyl pyrrolidone, ethanol, acetone, acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran, methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide. When the wiping portion 230 wipes the electrode paste layer 120, the organic solvent adsorbed therein is coated on the electrode paste layer 120 for dissolving the electrode paste layer 120. Further, the electrode paste layer 120 dissolved by the organic solvent is carried away simultaneously while the wiping portion 230 is moved.
In this way, the electrode slurry layer 120 in which the electrode pad setting region is set is wiped off and removed by the wiping portion 230. At this time, as shown in fig. 2 to 3, the electrode slurry layer 120 on the set region of the electrode sheet 110 is removed by the wiping portion 230 to form the tab slot 130. In addition, the width of the tab groove 130 is greater than that of the electrode tab to be mounted, so that it is ensured that the tab groove 130 has a sufficient space to improve the mounting of the electrode tab.
In addition, the specific components and proportions of the organic solvent are selected according to the material of the electrode paste layer. Illustratively, the composition of the electrode paste layer 120 includes N-methylpyrrolidone, and it is preferable that the composition of the organic solvent also includes N-methylpyrrolidone. In this way, the solubility of the organic solvent to the electrode paste layer 120 is optimized, and the removal efficiency of the electrode paste layer 120 is improved.
In one embodiment, FIG. 3 is a flowchart illustrating step 101 according to an exemplary embodiment. As shown in fig. 3, step 101 includes:
and step 1011, configuring the wiping parameters of the wiping piece according to the physical parameters of the electrode slurry layer on the set area.
Wherein the physical parameter includes at least one of thickness and quality of the electrode slurry layer, and the wiping parameter includes wiping speed and/or wiping pressure. The wiping pressure specifically refers to the contact pressure of the wiper with the electrode paste layer.
Optionally, in case the physical parameters (including thickness and/or mass) are less than or equal to the set threshold, the wiping parameters (including wiping pressure and wiping speed) are configured to a fast wiping speed and a low wiping pressure. In the case where the physical parameters include thickness and mass) are greater than a set threshold, the wiping parameters (including wiping pressure and wiping speed) are configured to be a slow wiping speed and a high wiping pressure.
The physical parameter may also include other parameters, such as density, among others. Different set thresholds are set for different physical parameters. And, in the case where the physical parameters include at least two parameters, optionally, in the case where all the physical parameters are less than or equal to the set threshold value, the wiping parameters are configured to a fast wiping speed and a low wiping pressure. In the case where the at least one physical parameter is greater than the set threshold value, the wiping parameters are configured to a slow wiping speed and a high wiping pressure. In this way, effective erasure of the electrode paste layer is ensured.
And step 1012, wiping and removing the electrode slurry on the set area according to the wiping parameters.
In this way, in the case where the thickness and/or mass of the electrode paste layer is large, the difficulty of wiping the electrode paste layer is also high. At this time, the use of a slower wiping speed and a larger wiping pressure enables the optimization of the dissolving effect of the organic solvent on the electrode paste layer, and thus the wiping effect in step 101.
In the case where the thickness and/or mass of the electrode paste layer is small, the difficulty of wiping the electrode paste layer is low. At the moment, the rapid wiping speed and the small wiping pressure are adopted, so that the wiping efficiency is improved and the structural deformation caused by the force application to the electrode plate is avoided on the premise of ensuring the wiping effect.
With continued reference to fig. 1, step 102 is performed after step 101, as follows:
and 102, baking the wiped electrode.
Optionally, the wiped electrode sheet is baked at a temperature of 50 ℃ to 130 ℃. That is, the electrode sheet processed in step 101 is baked as a whole. The method is simple and easy to operate and convenient to operate. Or, optionally, baking the set area of the electrode under the temperature condition of 50-130 ℃.
In this way, the organic solvent remained in the polar ear groove is volatilized through baking, and the subsequent process is prevented from being influenced. Wherein, the specific baking temperature and baking time can be set according to the components of the organic solvent.
And 103, mounting the electrode tabs in the tab grooves.
Optionally, the tab is welded with the electrode sheet exposed in the tab slot. The width of the tab groove formed in step 101 is greater than the width of the tab, so that the tab can be completely placed in the tab groove. In the step 102, the organic solvent remained on the surface of the tab slot is volatilized through baking, so that the welding effect of the tab and the electrode plate in the step 103 is ensured.
According to the electrode tab installation process provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the wiping piece adsorbed with the organic solvent is used for wiping the electrode slurry layer in the set area of the electrode tab so as to form the tab slot. In this way, the electrode plate structure can not be damaged, the positive electrode slurry can be wiped cleanly, and the cost is reduced to the maximum extent. And the tab groove is baked at high temperature to volatilize the organic solvent, so that the welding stability of the electrode tab and the electrode plate is ensured.
In addition, it should be noted that, in connection with fig. 2-2, the clip portion 220 and the wiping portion 230 of the wiper 200 are detachably connected. For example, the clip portion 220 has two pieces that can be opened and closed (e.g., a clip structure), two pieces that close the clip wipe 230, and two pieces that open and remove the wipe 230. At this time, the optional grip portion 220 is engaged with the wiping portion 230 of a different specification.
Alternatively, the driving part 210 is detachably connected to the holding part 220 of the wiper 200, and the wiping part 230 is fixedly connected to the holding part 220. In this case, one clamping portion 220 corresponds to one standard wiping portion 230. That is, the driving part 210 may cooperate with various grip parts 220 and wiping parts 230.
Alternatively, the driving member 210, the clamping portion 220, and the wiping portion 230 of the wiping member 200 are all detachably connected.
By adopting the mode, the electrode lug grooves can be processed on the electrode plates of different models by replacing the wiping parts 230 of different specifications, so that the adaptability of the whole process is improved, and the cost of process equipment is reduced. Particularly, only the wiping part 230 needs to be replaced, thereby further reducing the equipment cost of the whole process.
In a second aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a wiper for use in the above-described electrode tab installation process. As shown in fig. 2-2, the wipe 200 includes: a driving portion 210, a clamping portion 220, and a wiping portion 230. Wherein the clamping portion 220 is detachably connected with the driving portion 210 and/or the wiping portion 230. The wiping part 230 has a porous flexible structure for adsorbing an organic solvent, and may be selected from foam, etc. The driving part 210 may be a mechanical arm for driving the clamping part 220 to move the wiping part 230.
Alternatively, in the case where the holder portion 220 is detachably connected to the wiper portion 230, the wiper 200 includes: a first wiping portion 231 and a second wiping portion 232 detachably connectable to the holder portion. The first wiping portion 231 and the second wiping portion 232 are different in size. In this way, the wiper can be adapted to cooperate with electrode earphones of different specifications, and to implement the electrode earphone mounting process provided by the first aspect.
The wiping piece provided by the embodiment of the disclosure has the characteristics of low cost and good universality, and can quickly form a pole lug groove on an electrode plate so as to install an electrode pole lug.
In a third aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a battery including an electrode and a tab connected to the electrode. Wherein the tab is connected to the electrode by the tab installation process provided by the first aspect. Optionally, the battery is a mobile phone battery, a tablet computer battery, an electric vehicle battery, a medical equipment battery, or the like.
Other embodiments of the disclosure will be apparent to those skilled in the art from consideration of the specification and practice of the disclosure disclosed herein. This disclosure is intended to cover any variations, uses, or adaptations of the disclosure following, in general, the principles of the disclosure and including such departures from the present disclosure as come within known or customary practice within the art to which the disclosure pertains. It is intended that the specification and examples be considered as exemplary only, with a true scope and spirit of the disclosure being indicated by the following claims.
