The invention aims to provide an information display method based on the states of power transmission and transformation equipment of a power system, which solves the problems that the existing operation and maintenance personnel are difficult to observe the states of the electrical equipment and easily cause safety accidents when the existing operation and maintenance personnel are not in time by acquiring the connection relations among various electrical equipment in the power system and the equipment, creating display icons corresponding to the electrical equipment, constructing the power system on a display platform according to pin numbers among the equipment and actually measuring and recording the equipment states corresponding to the icons by the operation and maintenance personnel on site.
