[ detailed description ] embodiments
The following detailed description and technical contents of the present invention are described with reference to the drawings, which are provided for reference and illustration purposes only and are not intended to limit the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, the present invention provides a board edge fixing terminal (hereinafter referred to as board edge fixing terminal 100) of a circuit board for detachably fixing an electronic component on a main board 900. The electronic component may be any component having a circuit board 800, such as: a Solid-state drive (SSD), a Memory (RAM), an Interface Card (Interface Card), etc., in this embodiment, the Solid-state drive is taken as an example for description.
The motherboard 900 is provided with an electrical connector 9, and the electronic component is connected with the motherboard 900 by connecting the electrical connector 9. The circuit board 800 has a plurality of board edges surrounding each other, and in this embodiment, two first board edges 8a and two second board edges 8b surrounding each other in a rectangular shape are taken as an example for illustration, and each first board edge 8a and each second board edge 8b are respectively opposite to each other, in other words, one end of each second board edge 8b is connected to two ends of one of the first board edges 8a, and the other end of each second board edge 8b is connected to two ends of the other first board edge 8 a. The plate edge fixing terminals 100 are fixed on the motherboard 900, but the present invention does not limit the positional relationship between the plate edge fixing terminals 100 and the electrical connector 9, and for example, the plate edge fixing terminals may be arranged in an L shape or arranged in parallel with each other at intervals, and in this embodiment, the plate edge fixing terminals are described as being arranged in parallel with each other at intervals (see fig. 3).
As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the plate edge fixing terminal 100 includes: a base 1, a snap spring arm 2, at least a first limiting arm 3 and two second limiting arms 4, wherein the number of the first limiting arms 3 in the present embodiment is described by taking two as an example. It should be noted that the plate edge fixing terminal 100 of the present invention is a one-piece object, and the metal material or the metal plate can be processed by cutting and bending, for example, to manufacture the plate edge fixing terminal 100 of the present invention comprising the base 1, the snap spring arm 2, the first limiting arm 3 and the second limiting arm 4.
The base 1 is fixed on the main board 900 and has a first side 1a and a second side 1 b. As shown in fig. 1 and 3, the first edge 1a corresponds to one of the two first edges 8a, and the two second edges 1b correspond to the two second edges 8b, respectively, in other words, one end of each second edge 1b is connected to both ends of the first edge 1 a. The base 1 can be fixed on the motherboard 900 in any feasible manner, in this embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, at least one fixing portion 11 is punched on the base 1, and the fixing portion 11 protrudes from the bottom surface of the base 1 toward the motherboard 900, and the base 1 is at least one corresponding fixing portion (not shown) fixed on the motherboard 900 by at least one fixing portion 11.
The snap spring arm 2 is connected to the first side 1a of the base 1 and has a locking portion 21a, so that the snap spring arm 2 can elastically swing relative to the base 1 by an external force with the connection position as an axis. Each first limiting arm 3 is connected to the first edge 1a, preferably such that the snap spring arm 2 is located between two first limiting arms 3, and the snap spring arm 2 and the two first limiting arms 3 are connected to the first edge 1a in a straight line side by side. The second limiting arms 4 are respectively connected to the second sides 1b, so that the second limiting arms 4 are opposite to each other at intervals.
Therefore, as shown in fig. 3 to 5, the electronic component first connects the electrical connector 9 with one of the first plate edges 8a of the circuit board 800 in an inclined manner, and then with the connection position of the electrical connector 9 as an axis, presses the other first plate edge 8a of the circuit board 800 from top to bottom and is buckled by the plate edge fixing terminal 100. At this time, as shown in fig. 5 and fig. 7 to 8, the two first limiting arms 3 jointly abut against the other first plate edge 8a of the circuit board 800 to limit the same; as shown in fig. 6, each second limiting arm 4 abuts against each second plate edge 8b of the circuit board 800 to limit the same; as shown in fig. 5 to 8, the locking portion 21a of the locking elastic arm 2 is locked with respect to the other first plate edge 8a, so that the two first plate edges 8a of the circuit board 800 can be fixed on the main board 900 by the electrical connector 9 and the plate edge fixing terminal 100, respectively.
Therefore, the plate edge fixing terminal 100 of the present invention has the following effects: firstly, because the plate edge fixing terminal 100 is a single-piece object, the plate edge fixing terminal can be used without combination, and has the effects of convenience and quickness in use; secondly, the terminal 100 is fixed by the plate edge as a single-piece object, so that no additional spring exists, and the problem of difficult combination is avoided; thirdly, the connection relationship of each part of the plate edge fixing terminal 100 is simple, so that the failure and the damage are not easy to occur, and the yield is high.
The detailed structure, function and effect of each component of the plate edge fixing terminal 100 of the present invention will be described in further detail below.
As shown in fig. 1, fig. 2 and fig. 5, the snap spring arm 2 includes at least one snap spring arm body 21, and preferably further includes a guiding portion 22 and a shifting portion 23, and the number of the snap spring arm bodies 21 in the embodiment is described by taking two as an example. Wherein, the snap elastic arm body 21 has an arm body segment 211 and a buckle body segment 212, one end of the arm body segment 211 and the first edge 1a of the base 1 are connected with each other in a bending way, so that the snap elastic arm 2 can elastically deflect relative to the base 1 through external force; the other end of the arm body segment 211 and one end of the buckle body segment 212 are connected to each other by bending, and the other end of each buckle body segment 212 and one side of the guide part 22 are connected to each other by bending to form a substantially 7-shape (see fig. 8), so that the two buckle body segments 212 and the guide part 22 together form the aforementioned engaging part 21a, and the engaging part 21a can be elastically deflected with respect to each arm body segment 211 by an external force. It should be noted that, as shown in fig. 8, the fastening portion 21a and the base 1 are arranged in parallel at an interval from top to bottom, so that the other plate edge 8a of the circuit board 800, after being guided by the guiding portion 22, can not only push the fastening elastic arm 2 to elastically deflect, but also can be inserted between the fastening portion 21a and the base 1 to be fastened by the fastening portion 21 a.
A spacing space 213 is formed between the snap spring arm bodies 21, and the position of the toggle part 23 corresponding to the spacing space 213 is positioned between the two snap spring arm bodies 21; one end of the toggle part 23 is connected to one side of the guide part 22 as shown in fig. 1, and the other end of the toggle part 23 extends to between the two arm body sections 211 as shown in fig. 2; the toggle portion 23 has a plurality of bending lines 231, and the toggle portion 23 is bent through each bending line 231 and protrudes relative to each buckle segment 212. When the latch arm 2 is to release the latch of the circuit board 800, an external force is applied to the toggle portion 23, so that the latch arm 2 can be toggled to drive the latch portion 21a to elastically deflect relative to the base 1, and thus the latch portion 21a can be separated from the other first plate edge 8a after deflection to release the latch.
As shown in fig. 1, one end of each first limiting arm 3 and one end of the snap spring arm 2 are respectively connected with different positions of the first edge 1a in a bending manner, one end of each second limiting arm 4 is respectively connected with each second edge 1b in a bending manner, so that each first limiting arm 3 and each second limiting arm 4 can have the same elastic deflection effect relative to the base 1 as the snap spring arm 2, and each first limiting arm 3 and each second limiting arm 4 stand on three edges of the base 1 to form a U-shaped space (no element symbol is marked). In order to make the first limiting arm 3 and the second limiting arm 4 capable of elastically deflecting, a gap G is formed between one side of each first limiting arm 3 and one side of each second limiting arm 4, and the gaps are adjacent to each other at intervals.
As shown in fig. 1 and fig. 6 to 8, the other end of each first limiting arm 3 and the other end of each second limiting arm 4 are further respectively connected with a guiding portion 31, 41 in a bending manner, so as to have the same effect of respectively guiding the first plate edge 8a and the second plate edge 8b of the circuit board 800 as the guiding portion 22. It should be noted that the guides 22, 31, 41 are inclined with respect to the buckle section 212, the first stopper arm 3, and the second stopper arm 4, respectively, and thus have the effect of being guided intensively into the aforementioned U-shaped space.
In addition, as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 7 to 8, in the operation of fixing the circuit board 800, the latch arm 2 must be pushed first, and then the latch of the latch arm 2 and the position limitation of each position limitation arm are performed, and the latch arm 2 does not need to limit the circuit board 800, therefore, the arm section 211 of the latch arm 2 should be inclined at an angle relative to the first position limitation arm 3, and the guide portion 22 protrudes from one end of the latch section 212 to the other end relative to the first position limitation arm 3 into the U-shaped space as shown in fig. 8.
In summary, the edge-fixed terminal of the circuit board of the present invention can achieve the intended purpose, and overcome the problems of the prior art, and completely meet the requirements of the patent application of the present invention.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, and all equivalent structural changes made by using the contents of the present specification and drawings are included in the scope of the present invention, and it is obvious that the present invention is also included in the claims.
