The hinge assembly 120 is disposed at one side of the foldable bracket 110. Therefore, the folding bracket 110 and the pivoting member 120 are integrated with each other, so that the overall structure is compact and light, and the thickness can be reduced.
Further, the foldable support 110 defines a first non-foldable area 111, a foldable area 112 and a second non-foldable area 113. The folding region 112 is located between the first non-folding region 111 and the second non-folding region 113. And in one embodiment, the display screen as the bending portion of the terminal area can be disposed on the folding bracket 110 except for the folding area 112. In addition, the folding bracket 110 is a light and thin plate having sufficient rigidity. Thereby supporting the display module 300 and keeping the display module 300 flat.
The display module 300 and the hinge assembly 120 are related to each other, so the folding path needs to be strictly calculated and verified during the design process. In this process, the trajectory of the pivoting member 120 has been designed substantially simultaneously. Therefore, the hinge assembly 120 is integrated with the foldable bracket 110 and can be matched with the design of the display module 300, so that the foldable display device and the foldable structure disclosed by the application can ensure the service life and the reasonability of the whole structure.
In one embodiment, the folding bracket 110 comprises a rigid material, which may be stainless steel. The folding region 112 is formed with a mesh structure, so that the folding bracket 110 can be bent. The mesh structure may be formed by a patterning process, but is not limited thereto.
In other embodiments, the folding bracket 110 may also comprise one or more of a rigid material, a flexible material, and a composite material. For example, the first non-folding region 111 and the second non-folding region 113 of the folding bracket 110 can be made of a rigid material, and the folding region 112 can be made of a flexible material; alternatively, the first non-folded region 111, the folded region 112 and the second non-folded region 113 may be made of a composite material. Can be set according to actual requirements.
The hinge assembly 120 may be disposed at one side of the foldable stand 110, and includes a first connecting unit 121, a second connecting unit 122 and a hinge unit 123. In one embodiment, the hinge assembly 120 may further include a housing 124, and the housing 124 is covered on the hinge unit 123 to prevent the hinge unit 123 from operating badly due to dust accumulation and prevent fingers of a user from being pinched.
To explain, the first connecting unit 121 is disposed on the first non-folding region 111, and the second connecting unit 122 is disposed on the second non-folding region 113. The hinge unit 123 is connected between the first connecting unit 121 and the second connecting unit 122.
In an embodiment, the pivot unit 123 may include a rotating shaft, but is not limited thereto. For example, the pivoting unit 123 may also include gears, hinges, and the like.
In one embodiment, the pivot assembly 120 may further include a fixing mechanism 125. The fixing mechanism 125 may be disposed on the foldable bracket 110, and the first connecting unit 121 and the second connecting unit 122 may be connected to the fixing mechanism 125, so that the first connecting unit 121 and the second connecting unit 122 may be stably disposed on the foldable bracket 110.
To further explain, in an embodiment, the folding bracket 110 and the fixing mechanism 125 are provided with screw holes, the fixing mechanism 125 can be locked on the folding bracket 110, and the first connecting unit 121 and the second connecting unit 122 can be locked on the fixing mechanism 125 through screws, so that the first connecting unit 121 and the second connecting unit 122 can be stably arranged on the folding bracket 110.
In one embodiment, the pivot assembly 120 is further shown in fig. 5, the pivot assembly 120 and the folding bracket 110 can be connected by spot welding, and the pivot assembly 120 defines screw holes for the housing 124 to lock.
In an embodiment, the silicone sealing the display module 300 and the rigid plastic member fixed to the pivot assembly 120 are connected together by a windable dust-proof film, so as to ensure that the foldable display device 10 can be deformed in a full stroke and self-adaptive manner to prevent dust during the whole deformation process from unfolding to folding.
Therefore, in summary, the present application integrates the pivot assembly 120 and the folding bracket 110, and the volume of the whole machine can be effectively reduced without adding additional structure. The technical problem of designing the folding mechanism to be integrated with the reliability and the rotating shaft can be solved. The problem that the terminal is unpredictable in the later period caused by difference between the terminal and other modules when the rotating shaft is designed is avoided from the design angle, the design and assembly difficulty of a terminal manufacturer can be saved, and the stability of subsequent terminal equipment is ensured.
