Description

Management method and device of idle cloud computing resources, electronic equipment and storage medium
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of cloud computing technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for managing idle cloud computing resources, an electronic device, and a storage medium.
Background
In the cloud computing industry, the purchase of resources is typically in an "on-demand" manner, with time duration and usage being measured units.
Taking a cloud host as an example, the purchasing formula of a cloud host of a specific specification (specification, i.e. configuration of the cloud host, e.g. 4c8g) is generally two: firstly, the purchase is carried out in an unfixed time length, which is also called 'charging according to configuration' and 'post-payment'. Secondly, purchasing the duration of a certain period at one time, also called as 'packing the year and month' and 'prepaying'.
Currently, there is a way to sell idle resources, which is called "spot instance". In this way, according to the amount of the idle resources left in the resource pool, the cloud computing manufacturers provide the idle resources in a variable price and auction mode, and the users with the highest price will obtain the resources preferentially. However, during the use of the bidding instance, if there are other users who have higher bids or other users who have purchased the resource at a positive price, the current resource may be immediately freed to meet the new demand.

The method for managing idle cloud computing resources provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure may be executed by an electronic device, where the electronic device may be a PC (Personal Computer), a tablet Computer, a server, or the like, and is not limited herein.
In the disclosed embodiment, the electronic device may be provided with a processing component, a storage component and a driving component. Optionally, the driving component and the processing component may be integrated, the storage component may store an operating system, an application program, or other program modules, and the processing component implements the method for managing idle cloud computing resources provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure by executing the application program stored in the storage component.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for managing idle cloud computing resources according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
The management method of the idle cloud computing resources according to the embodiments of the present disclosure can be further executed by the management apparatus of the idle cloud computing resources according to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the device can be configured in the electronic equipment to receive the resource request information sent by the user and acquire the price list of the idle cloud computing resources, and determining whether the idle cloud computing resources meet the resource requirements of the user according to the server specification, the number of servers and the price table, then responding to the idle cloud computing resources to meet the resource requirements, calculating a target price value according to the server specification, the number of servers, the reserved time length and the price table, if the bid value is greater than or equal to the target price value, managing the idle cloud computing resources according to the resource request information, therefore, the idle cloud computing resources can be priced in a more flexible mode, and price advantages and the using duration predictability of the idle cloud computing resources can be considered at the same time.
As a possible situation, the management method of the idle cloud computing resources according to the embodiment of the present disclosure may also be executed at a server, where the server may be a cloud server, and the management method of the idle cloud computing resources may be executed at a cloud end.
As shown in fig. 1, the method for managing idle cloud computing resources may include:
step 101, receiving resource request information sent by a user, wherein the resource request information includes server specification, number of servers, reserved duration and output value.
The server specification may be a configuration of servers (cloud hosts), such as 1c2g (1 processor 2g memory), 2c4g (2 processor 4g memory), 2c8g (2 processor 8g memory), etc., the number of servers may be the number of servers that a user wants to use, the reserved time may be the time that the user wants to use the idle cloud computing resources (i.e., the time that the server is used), and the bid value may be the highest bid value the user expects to pay.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, when a user wants to purchase an idle cloud computing resource, resource request information may be created by a client, and the resource request information is sent to a relevant server (for example, a cloud computing resource management server), and the server may respond (operate) after receiving the resource request information.
It should be noted that, the client described in this embodiment may provide a resource request application page, and a user may fill in a requirement of the user through the resource request application page to create related resource request information. The client can be installed in electronic equipment such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer and a PC (personal computer) of a user.
As a possible situation, when a user wants to purchase an idle cloud computing resource, resource request information may be created through a client, and a corresponding response (operation) may be directly made according to the resource request information.
Step 102, obtaining a price list of idle cloud computing resources.
It should be noted that the price table described in this embodiment may be generated and pre-stored in the storage space of the server to facilitate the retrieval of the application. The storage space is not limited to an entity-based storage space, such as a hard disk, and the storage space may also be a cloud storage space connected to a server.
Specifically, after receiving the resource request information sent by the user, the server may call (acquire) a price list of the idle cloud computing resources from its own storage space.
To clearly illustrate the above embodiment, in one embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2, the price table may be generated by:
step 201, obtaining the specification of idle servers and the number of idle servers of the idle cloud computing resources.
It should be noted that, the specification of the idle servers and the number of the idle servers described in this embodiment may be obtained through an associated API (Application Programming Interface), for example, the specification of the idle servers and the number of the idle servers of the idle cloud computing resources may be obtained from the resource pool through the associated API.
Specifically, the server may obtain the idle server specification and the number of idle servers of the idle cloud computing resource from the resource pool of the cloud computing resource through the relevant API interface.
Step 202, obtaining historical consumption data of cloud computing resources in a target time period. The target time period may be calibrated according to actual conditions, for example, the target time period may be the last week, the last month, and the like, which is not limited herein.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, cloud computing resource historical consumption data in a target time period can be acquired from a cloud computing resource usage database. The server can write real-time consumption data of the cloud computing resources into the cloud computing resource use database so as to facilitate subsequent use.
Specifically, after acquiring the specification of the idle servers and the number of the idle servers of the idle cloud computing resource, the server may call the cloud computing resource usage database from its own storage space, and acquire historical consumption data of the cloud computing resource within a target time period (for example, within the last week) from the cloud computing resource usage database.
It should be noted that, the server described in this embodiment may update data written in the cloud computing resource usage database in real time, and may periodically clean up obsolete data in the cloud computing resource usage database, so as to release the storage space of the server and relieve the pressure on the storage space.
And 203, generating the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources in the prediction time period according to the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers and historical resource consumption data.
It should be noted that the prediction time period described in this embodiment may be calibrated according to actual conditions, and is usually less than one month, for example, one week or one day in the future.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources in the prediction time period can be generated according to a preset utilization rate generation algorithm, the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers and historical resource consumption data. The preset utilization rate generation algorithm can be calibrated according to actual conditions.
Specifically, after the server acquires historical cloud computing resource consumption data in the target time period, the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources in the prediction time period can be generated according to a preset utilization rate generation algorithm, the specifications of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers and the historical resource consumption data.
As a possible scenario, the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers, and the historical resource consumption data may be processed according to the utilization rate generation model to generate the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources in the prediction time period. It should be noted that the utilization rate generation model described in this embodiment may be trained in advance and pre-stored in the storage space of the server to facilitate retrieval of the application.
The training and the generation of the utilization rate generation model can be executed by a related training server, the training server can be a cloud server or a host of a computer, communication connection is established between the training server and a server capable of executing the management method of the idle cloud computing resources provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, and the communication connection can be at least one of wireless network connection and wired network connection. The training server can send the trained analytical model to the server so that the server can call the model when needed, and therefore the computing pressure of the server is greatly reduced.
Specifically, after the cloud computing resource historical consumption data in the target time period are acquired, the server can call out the utilization rate generation model from the storage space of the server, and inputs the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers and the resource historical consumption data into the utilization rate generation model, so that the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers and the resource historical consumption data are processed through the utilization rate generation model, and the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources output by the utilization rate generation model in the prediction time period is obtained.
As another possible scenario, the server may also process the idle server specification, the number of idle servers, and the resource historical consumption data using a utilization calculation tool (e.g., a plug-in) to generate a utilization of the idle cloud computing resources over the predicted time period.
And step 204, generating a price list according to the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers and the utilization rate.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the price table may be generated based on a preset price table generating strategy, and the predicted price values at different predicted reserved durations may be calculated according to the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers, and the utilization rate. And the preset price table generation strategy can be calibrated according to the actual situation.
Specifically, after generating the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources in the prediction time period, the server may generate a policy based on a preset price table, and calculate predicted price values for different predicted reserved durations according to the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers, and the utilization rate to generate the price table.
As a possible scenario, after the server generates the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources in the prediction time period, the server may further process the idle server specification, the number of idle servers, and the utilization rate process through the price list generation model to generate the price list. It should be noted that the price list generation model described in this embodiment may be trained in advance and pre-stored in the storage space of the server to facilitate retrieval of the application.
As another possible scenario, after generating the utilization of the idle cloud computing resources within the predicted time period, the server may also process the idle server specification, the number of idle servers, and the utilization process using a price table generation tool (e.g., a plug-in) to generate a price table.
It should be noted that the price table described in this embodiment may include a plurality of predicted reserved time lengths, specifications of idle servers, the number of idle servers, and predicted price values, and their corresponding relationships. The unit prices of servers (cloud computing servers) with different specifications under different predicted reserved time lengths may be different, for example, the unit price is higher as the predicted reserved time length is longer, and resources are not forcibly recycled by the system within the predicted reserved time length, which may be specifically shown in table 1 below:
Figure BDA0003220279050000081
TABLE 1
As can be seen from table 1, for a single server of the same specification, the longer the predicted reservation duration is, the higher the price is, and the higher the predicted utilization rate of the idle resources in a certain future time period is, the higher the price is.
And 103, determining whether the idle cloud computing resources meet the resource requirements of the user or not according to the server specification, the number of servers and the price list.
To clearly illustrate the above embodiment, in an embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, the price table may include a first corresponding relationship between the specification of the idle servers and the number of idle servers, and determining whether the idle cloud computing resources meet the resource demand of the user according to the specification of the servers, the number of servers, and the price table may include:
step 301, matching the server specification and the number of servers with the first corresponding relationship.
It should be noted that the first correspondence described in this embodiment is the current idle number corresponding to a certain size of server, for example, the current idle number of the server in 1c2g size is 5, and the current idle number of the server in 2c4g is 10.
Step 302, if the matching is successful, determining that the idle cloud computing resources meet the resource requirements.
Step 303, if the matching fails, determining that the idle cloud computing resources do not meet the resource requirements.
Specifically, after the server obtains the price list of the idle cloud computing resources, the price list may be analyzed to obtain a first corresponding relationship between the idle server specification and the number of idle servers in the price list, then the server specification and the number of servers in the request resource information may be matched with the first corresponding relationship, and whether matching is successful is determined according to a matching result (that is, whether the idle server specification in the first corresponding relationship and the number of idle servers corresponding to the idle server specification meet the requirement of the user are determined), and if yes, it may be determined that the idle cloud computing resources meet the resource requirement; if not, determining that the idle cloud computing resources do not meet the resource requirements.
And 104, responding to that the idle cloud computing resources meet the resource requirements, and calculating a target price value according to the server specification, the number of servers, the reserved time length and the price table.
In an embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 4, the price table may include a second corresponding relationship between a plurality of predicted reserved time lengths and the specification of the idle servers, the number of idle servers, and the predicted price value, respectively, and in response to the idle cloud computing resources meeting the resource demand, calculating the target price value according to the specification of the servers, the number of servers, the reserved time length, and the price table may include:
step 401, according to the reserved time length, determining a third corresponding relation between the reserved time length and the specification of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers and the predicted price value from the second corresponding relation.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, in the process of analyzing the price table, a plurality of predicted reserved durations in the available price table respectively correspond to a second corresponding relationship between the specification of the idle server, the number of the idle servers, and the predicted price value.
Specifically, in response to the idle cloud computing resource meeting the resource requirement, the server may first obtain the second corresponding relationship from the price table, and may query the second corresponding relationship using the reserved time length in the request resource information as an index, so as to determine a third corresponding relationship between the reserved time length and the specifications of the idle servers, the number of the idle servers, and the predicted price value from the second corresponding relationship.
Step 402, calculating a target price value according to the server specification, the number of servers and the third corresponding relation.
Specifically, after determining the third corresponding relationship, the server may match the server specification in the request resource information with the third corresponding relationship to obtain a fourth corresponding relationship between the reserved time and the server specification, the number of idle servers, and the predicted price value, and then calculate the target price value according to the number of servers in the request resource information and the number of idle servers and the predicted price value in the fourth corresponding relationship, for example, the predicted price value is divided by the number of idle servers and then multiplied by the number of servers to obtain the target price value.
And 105, if the bid value is greater than or equal to the target price value, managing the idle cloud computing resources according to the resource request information.
Specifically, after the server calculates the target price value, the server may compare a bid value in the request resource information with the target value to determine whether the bid value is greater than or equal to the target value, and if so, may allocate idle cloud computing resources (server specifications and quantities) to the user for use within a reserved time according to the resource request information, that is, the user purchases successfully; if not, the idle cloud computing resources in the resource request information are not allocated to the user, namely the user fails to purchase.
The idle cloud computing resources allocated to the user, that is, the idle cloud computing resources purchased by the user, are not forcibly released within the reserved time length. Therefore, the requirements of the user can be guaranteed.
In an embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 5, the method for managing the idle cloud computing resources may further include:
step 501, acquiring the specifications of the idle servers and the number of the idle servers of the idle cloud computing resources again, and acquiring historical cloud computing resource consumption data in a target time period again.
Specifically, after the prediction time period, the server may re-obtain the idle server specification and the number of idle servers of the idle cloud computing resources from the resource pool of the cloud computing resources through the relevant API interface, and re-obtain the historical consumption data of the cloud computing resources in the target time period (for example, in the last week) from the cloud computing resource usage database.
Step 502, regenerating the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources in the prediction time period according to the specifications of the reacquired idle servers, the reacquired number of idle servers and the reacquired historical resource consumption data.
Specifically, the regeneration of the utilization rate may refer to the related description in step 203, and is not described herein again.
Step 503, updating the price list according to the specifications of the reacquired idle servers, the reacquired number of idle servers and the regenerated utilization rate.
Specifically, after the server regenerates the utilization rate of the idle cloud computing resources in the prediction time period, the server may recalculate the predicted price values for different predicted reserved durations based on the preset price table generation strategy according to the specifications of the reacquired idle servers, the reacquired number of idle servers, and the regenerated utilization rate, so as to update the current price table, thereby generating a new price table.
