In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present application. This application is capable of embodiments in many different forms than those described herein and that modifications may be made by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the application and it is therefore not intended to be limited to the specific embodiments disclosed below.
Furthermore, the terms "first", "second" and "first" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated. Thus, a feature defined as "first" or "second" may explicitly or implicitly include at least one such feature. In the description of the present application, "plurality" means at least two, e.g., two, three, etc., unless specifically limited otherwise.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a picture updating method in an embodiment of the present application.
Referring to fig. 3, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for updating a picture, including the following steps:
s110, obtaining the current pixel brightness value of each sub-pixel 200 corresponding to each coordinate position in the current frame picture.
S120, obtaining a desired pixel brightness value of each sub-pixel 200 corresponding to each coordinate position in the next frame. The current pixel brightness value and the expected pixel brightness value represent the average brightness information of each sub-pixel 200, the values of the previous pixel brightness value and the expected pixel brightness value represent the gray scale degree, the value is zero to express the darkest, and the value is 255 to express the brightest.
S130, judging whether the absolute difference between the brightness value of the expected pixel corresponding to the same coordinate position and the brightness value of the current pixel meets a first condition or not; if the first condition is met, determining the coordinate position as a coordinate position to be updated; the first condition is that the absolute difference between the brightness value of the expected pixel and the brightness value of the current pixel is greater than or equal to a preset value.
And S140, updating the current pixel brightness value of the sub-pixel corresponding to the coordinate position to be updated in the current frame picture to be the expected pixel brightness value so as to display the updated picture of the current frame picture.
By comparing the current pixel brightness value and the expected pixel brightness value corresponding to the same coordinate position of two continuous frames of pictures, if the absolute difference between the expected pixel brightness value and the current pixel brightness value corresponding to the same coordinate position is greater than or equal to a preset value, it is indicated that the image data information at the coordinate position changes greatly, so that the difference between two adjacent pictures is reflected at the coordinate position, the coordinate position can be calibrated as the coordinate position to be updated, the set of all the coordinate positions to be updated can form an update area, and the update area is a local area of the next frame of picture of the current frame of picture. Then, if the current pixel brightness value of the sub-pixel corresponding to the coordinate position to be updated is the desired pixel brightness value, the updated area can be displayed to form an updated picture of the current frame. Compared with the comprehensive updating, the picture updating method can improve the picture switching speed, shorten the picture switching time, embody the difference of two adjacent frames of pictures and have no influence on the picture impression.
The preset value may be determined according to the requirement for picture quality in practical application, and may be a fixed value or set by a user.
The switching time refers to a scanning period between the current frame picture and the updated picture. The updating picture refers to a picture to be switched of the current frame picture after a switching time.
Furthermore, the preset value is 3-6, which can better reflect the difference between the brightness value of the expected pixel corresponding to the same coordinate position and the brightness value of the current pixel, so as to indicate that the image data information at the coordinate position has a large change, and further indicate that the coordinate position belongs to the coordinate position which needs to be updated.
Optionally, if the expected pixel brightness value and the current pixel brightness value of the sub-pixel corresponding to the same coordinate position further satisfy a second condition, the coordinate position satisfying the second condition is removed from all coordinate positions to be updated, where the second condition is that the expected pixel brightness value is smaller than the current pixel brightness value. That is to say, if the brightness value of the desired pixel corresponding to the same coordinate position is greater than the brightness value of the current pixel and the difference value is greater than the preset value or the brightness value of the desired pixel corresponding to the same coordinate position is equal to the brightness value of the current pixel, the coordinate position is the coordinate position to be updated, and thus, on one hand, the selected coordinate position to be updated can reflect the required image data information better when the brightness value of the desired pixel is greater than or equal to the brightness value of the current pixel, and particularly, in the graph shown in fig. 1, the local change between the graph (a) or (b) or (c) in fig. 1 can be reflected better; on the other hand, the coordinate position to be updated selected under the condition that the expected pixel brightness value is smaller than the current pixel brightness value can be eliminated, and the switching speed of the updated picture can be improved.
In some embodiments, the preset value is 4. Taking the graph (a) in fig. 1 as the current frame picture and the graph (b) in fig. 1 as the next frame picture of the current frame picture, comparing the pixel brightness values of the sub-pixels 200 at the same coordinate position in the graph (a) in fig. 1 with the pixel brightness values of the sub-pixels 200 at the same coordinate position in the graph (b) in fig. 1, 71520 examples of coordinate positions to be updated can be obtained, and correspondingly, please refer to fig. 4, the updated picture has 71520 sub-pixels 200, and fig. 2 has 921600 sub-pixels 200, that is, the graph (b) in fig. 1 has 921600 sub-pixels, compared with the graph (a) in fig. 1 switching to the graph (b) in fig. 1, it is obvious that the switching speed of the updated picture in fig. 1 from the graph (a) to the updated picture in fig. 5 is faster. Referring to fig. 5 in combination, comparing fig. 5 with fig. 1 (b), it is apparent that the update screen in fig. 5 is a partial diagram of fig. 1 (b), and the update screen in fig. 5 shows the difference between fig. 1 (a) and fig. 1 (b), which further verifies that the screen updating method of the present application can not only increase the switching speed of the screen, but also embody the difference between two adjacent frames of screens without affecting the appearance of the screen.
In other embodiments, the preset value is 4. Taking the graph (b) in fig. 1 as the current frame picture and the graph (c) in fig. 1 as the next frame picture of the current frame picture, comparing the pixel brightness values of the sub-pixels 200 at the same coordinate position in the graph (b) in fig. 1 with the pixel brightness values of the sub-pixels 200 at the same coordinate position in the graph (c) in fig. 1, 82130 examples of the coordinate positions to be updated can be obtained, and correspondingly, referring to fig. 6, the updated picture has 82130 sub-pixels 200, and fig. 2 has 921600 sub-pixels 200, that is, the graph (c) in fig. 1 has 921600 sub-pixels, compared with the graph (b) in fig. 1 switching to the graph (c) in fig. 1, it is obvious that the switching speed of the updated picture in fig. 1 from the graph (b) to fig. 7 is faster. Referring to fig. 7 in combination, comparing fig. 7 with fig. 1 (c), it is apparent that the updated screen in fig. 7 is a partial diagram of fig. 1 (c), and the updated screen in fig. 7 shows the difference between fig. 1 (b) and fig. 1 (c), which further verifies that the screen updating method of the present application can improve the switching speed of the screen, shorten the switching time of the screen, and also can embody the difference between two adjacent frames of screens without affecting the appearance of the screen.
Further, referring to fig. 8, a plurality of Gate lines and a plurality of Source lines intersect to define a plurality of sub-pixels 200. The sub-pixels 200 are configured to emit light corresponding to a current pixel brightness value or a desired pixel brightness value according to a data signal input by a corresponding Source line and a scan signal input by a Gate line, so that a response time of each frame of a picture is fast, and a switching time of the picture can be further shortened to a certain extent. Specifically, the driving is performed using a TFT technology, that is, each sub-pixel 200 is driven by a Thin Film Transistor (TFT) integrated therebehind.
In some embodiments, the plurality of gate lines are arranged in rows and the plurality of source lines are arranged in columns. The Gate line is electrically connected to the Gate of the TFT corresponding to the sub-pixel 200, the Source line is electrically connected to the Source of the TFT corresponding to the sub-pixel 200, and a corresponding data signal is input to the Source line corresponding to the sub-pixel 200 to generate a corresponding current pixel brightness value, so as to display a current frame; or inputting a corresponding data signal to the source line corresponding to the sub-pixel 200 to generate a corresponding desired pixel brightness value, thereby displaying the updated image. Specifically, the data signal input by the source line is a data voltage signal.
Further, the step S140 of updating the current pixel brightness value of the sub-pixel corresponding to the coordinate position to be updated in the current frame picture to be the desired pixel brightness value specifically includes:
the sub-pixel 200 corresponding to the coordinate position to be updated is selected as the target sub-pixel 200. A scan signal matching the desired pixel brightness value is input to the target subpixel 200 through the Gate line corresponding to the target subpixel 200, and a data signal matching the desired pixel brightness value is input to the target subpixel 200 through the Source line corresponding to the target subpixel 200, so as to update the current pixel brightness value of the subpixel corresponding to the coordinate position to be updated in the current frame to the desired pixel brightness value. The method can achieve the effects of displaying and updating the picture and locally updating, improve the switching speed of the picture, shorten the switching time of the picture, and simultaneously, play a role of saving electricity.
In some embodiments, the preset value is 4. If comparing the pixel brightness values of the sub-pixels at the same coordinate position in the current frame picture shown in fig. 1 (a) and the next frame picture shown in fig. 1 (b), 71520 coordinate positions to be updated can be obtained to form an updated region; correspondingly, referring to FIG. 4, the updated picture has 71520 sub-pixels 200. Referring to fig. 8, the corresponding scan signals are input to only the Gate line 300-Gate line400 corresponding to the refresh area, and the corresponding data signals are input to the Source line450-Source line570 corresponding to the refresh area, so as to display the refresh frame shown in fig. 5. In the overall update of the diagram (a) and the diagram (b) in fig. 1, the corresponding scan signals need to be input to the Gate line Gate 0-Gate line Gate 719, and the corresponding data signals need to be input to the Source line Source 0-Source line1279, and obviously, compared with the overall update, in the frame update method of the present application, the period of Gate line Gate scan is shorter, which is more beneficial to improving the display speed of the updated frame, and shortening the frame switching time, and only 120 Source line Source lines need to be powered on, and other 1160 Source line Source lines do not need to be powered on, which is more power-saving.
Further, before updating the current pixel brightness value of the sub-pixel corresponding to the coordinate position to be updated in the current frame picture to the desired pixel brightness value, the picture updating method further includes:
referring to fig. 9 and 10, the frame time T of each frame is divided into a normal display time period T1And a transition period T2
If the current frame is in the transition time period T2In the current frame, the real-time driving voltage value V on the sub-pixel 200 is usedFruit of Chinese wolfberryAdjusted to be between the first driving voltage value VNAnd a second driving voltage value VN+1In the meantime. Wherein the first driving voltage value VNCharacterized in that the current frame picture is in the normal display time period T1The driving voltage value required for internal normal display, the second driving voltage value VN+1Characterized in that the next frame of picture is in the normal display time period T1The driving voltage value required during the internal normal display, and N represents the frame number of the picture. The current frame is in the transition time period T2In the initial time of (2), the current frame is not switched to the updated frame, and the real-time driving voltage value V on the sub-pixel 200 in the current frame is advancedFruit of Chinese wolfberryAdjusted to be between the first driving voltage value VNAnd a second driving voltage value VN+1Compared with the first driving voltage value VNCan advance the real-time driving voltage value VFruit of Chinese wolfberryCloser to the second driving voltage value VN+1And the second driving voltage value VN+1The next frame of picture belonging to the current frame of picture is displayed in the normal display time period T1The desired pixel brightness value in the display frame is derived from the desired pixel brightness value of the next frame next to the current frame, i.e., the second driving voltage value VN+1Belongs to the driving voltage value required when the display picture is displayed normally. Correspondingly, the real-time driving voltage value V on the sub-pixel 200 in the current frame is made to be earlierFruit of Chinese wolfberryThe driving voltage value required by the normal display of the display picture to be displayed is adjusted to be closer to the value of the driving voltage required by the normal display of the display picture to be displayed, so that the response time required by the switching of the driving voltage value is shortened to a certain extent, and the switching time of the display picture is favorably shortened.
In some embodiments, referring to fig. 9 and 10, fig. 9 shows a first function curve a of driving voltage V versus time t for three consecutive frames in the prior art1FIG. 10 shows a second functional curve A of driving voltage V versus frame time T for three consecutive frames of frames in the present application2. Compared with the first function relation curve A1In the present application, the real-time driving voltage value V on the sub-pixel 200 in the current frame is made in advanceFruit of Chinese wolfberryAdjusting the driving voltage value to be closer to the driving voltage value required by the normal display of the display picture to be displayed, shortening the response time required by the switching of the driving voltage value to a certain extent, and enabling the response time and the transition time period T2The presentation is partially overlapped, which is beneficial to shortening the switching time of the display pictures.
It is worth to say that the voltage value V is driven in real timeFruit of Chinese wolfberryBetween the first driving voltage value VNAnd a second driving voltage value VN+1Meanwhile, the sub-pixels in the current frame picture can present a transitional pixel brightness value which is not easy to be perceived by naked eyes, and the impression of the current frame picture cannot be influenced.
Further, please refer toReferring to FIG. 10, if the current frame is in the transition period T2The real-time driving voltage value V of the sub-pixel 200 in the current frame is obtainedFruit of Chinese wolfberryAdjusted to be between the first driving voltage value VNAnd a second driving voltage value VN+1In the meantime. The transition time period can be used as the intermediate buffer time, and the response time required by the switching of the driving voltage value and the transition time period T can be enabled2More overlapping is presented, which is more beneficial to shortening the switching time of the display picture.
In some embodiments, please refer to fig. 10 again, if the current frame is in the transition period T2In the interior, the real-time driving voltage value V isFruit of Chinese wolfberryAdjusted to a first driving voltage value VNAnd a second driving voltage value VN+1One half of the sum. Further, it is ensured that the response time required for switching the driving voltage value is not shortened to affect the appearance of the current frame.
Further, please refer to fig. 10 again when the transition period T is reached2Less than the normal display period T1. Ensuring the response time and the transition time T required by switching the driving voltage value on the premise of not influencing the appearance of the current frame picture2The display overlap is beneficial to shortening the switching time of the display pictures.
Further, when the transition period T is over2Is not more than 2 times the normal display period T1. Specifically, please refer to FIG. 10 again when the transition period T is reached2Is equal to the normal display period T by 2 times1. Ensuring that the impression of the current frame picture is not influenced, and enabling the response time and the transition time period T required by the switching of the driving voltage value2And enough overlapping is presented, which is beneficial to shortening the switching time of the display pictures.
