Abstract

Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of novel tobacco, in particular to an aerosol generating device and an aerosol generating system convenient for power supply heat dissipation.
Background
Smoking articles (e.g., cigarettes, cigars, etc.) burn tobacco during use to produce tobacco smoke. Attempts have been made to replace these tobacco-burning products by making products that release compounds without burning.
An example of such a product is a heating device that generates an aerosol by heating rather than burning smokable material. For example, the material may be tobacco or other non-tobacco products, which may or may not include nicotine. Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
As shown in figures 1 to 4, an aerosol-generating device for heating smokable material to cause the smokable material to generate an aerosol. The consumable 200 containing smokable material is typically in the form of a tobacco rod comprising smokable material 201 at the front end, an intermediate cooling structure 202 and a filter structure 203 at the mouth end. The aerosol-generating device 100 and the smokable material consumable 200 inserted therein constitute an aerosol-generating system.
The aerosol generating device 100 comprises a housing 1, the housing 1 is formed by combining a front housing, a rear housing, an upper top cover 11 and a lower bottom cover 12, a sliding cover 13 and an insertion opening 14 are arranged on the top cover 11, the sliding cover 13 can be moved to expose the insertion opening 14 when in use, so that the consumable 200 can be inserted, and the sliding cover 13 can cover the insertion opening 14 when not in use to prevent foreign matters from entering.
Below the insertion opening 14, the holder 2, the holder 3, the heater 4, the heat insulating pipe 5, the sleeve 6, and the stopper 7 are provided in this order.
In use, the consumable 200 can be removably inserted into the aerosol-generating device 100 through the clip portion 2 and clipped by the clip portion 2. The clamping part 2 is not in thermal contact with the fixed base 3 and the heater 4, so that the clamping part 2 is prevented from being scalded in the using process and then heating the clamped part of the consumable 200. Generally, when the consumable 200 is fully inserted into the aerosol-generating device 100, the holder 2 holds non-smokable material portions, such as the cooling structure 202 and/or the filtering structure 203, and since the aerosol smoke generated by the smokable material 201 portions has a high temperature and needs to be cooled by the cooling structure 202 and/or the filtering structure 203, if these portions are also heated by the heated holder 2, the smoke entering the mouth of the consumer will have a too high temperature, which may affect the experience and effectiveness of smoking.
A heater 4 is provided within the housing 1 for heating the smokable material 201 within the consumable 200, the heater 4 may take the form of electrical resistance heating, electromagnetic induction heating, infrared heating or the like.
The outer side of the heater 4 is sleeved with a heat insulation pipe 5 to prevent heat energy from leaking, and the heat insulation pipe 5 can be made of high-temperature resistant heat insulation materials or can be a vacuum heat insulation pipe. For the infrared heating heater 4, an infrared reflecting surface may be further provided inside the heat insulating pipe 5. The outer side of the heat insulation pipe 5 is further sleeved with a sleeve 6, and the bottom of the sleeve 6 is provided with mounting positions corresponding to the heater 4 and the heat insulation pipe 5, so that the heater 4, the heat insulation pipe 5 and the sleeve 6 can be sequentially arranged from inside to outside at concentric intervals.
The heater 4, the heat insulation pipe 5 and the top end of the sleeve 6 are inserted on the fixed seat 3 from inside to outside in sequence and are concentrically arranged at intervals. The fixing base 3 needs to be able to withstand the high temperature generated by the heater 4, and may be made of high temperature resistant materials such as PEEK. Sealing structures are arranged between the fixed seat 3 and the heater 4, the heat insulation pipe 5 and the sleeve 6 to prevent heat and smoke from leaking outwards along the radial direction of the sleeve 6, so that a second space is formed. Thus, in use, air may enter the heated space inside the heater 4 from the bottom of the sleeve 6, mix with the heated smokable material to form a smoke containing aerosol, and be inhaled by a consumer from the mouth end of the consumable.
The housing 1 of the aerosol-generating device 100 is provided with a first space within which a power supply 8 and a circuit board 9 are provided, the power supply 8 being for supplying electrical power to the heater 4, the circuit board 9 being operable to control the power supply 8 to supply electrical power to the heater 4 as required. The first space is sealed at the top cover 11, so that the smoke overflowing from the upper part of the heater 4 in the using process is prevented from flowing into the first space to pollute the power supply 8 and the circuit board 9, and potential safety hazards such as short circuit are caused.
As shown in fig. 4-8, the stopper 7 is removably arranged at the bottom of the aerosol-generating device 100 and extends into the bottom of the heater 4, and the stopper 7 may abut against the consumable 200 when the consumable 200 is inserted into the heater 4 during use, thereby positioning the consumable 200. During cleaning the stop 7 can be removed and a cleaning tool can be inserted from the bottom of the heater 4 and cleaned.
The stopper 7 includes a stopper head 71 and a stopper bottom 72, and the stopper head 71 and the stopper bottom 72 may be integrally formed or may be formed by combining two or more members. The bottom cover 12 has a stopper insertion port 121 thereon. In use, the stopper 7 is inserted into the aerosol-generating device 100 through the stopper insertion opening 121, with the stopper bottom 72 closing off the stopper insertion opening 121, the stopper bottom 72 being flush with the outer surface of the bottom cover 12, thereby ensuring the smoothness of the product appearance. During cleaning, the stopper pull handle 73 on the stopper base 72 can be pulled, the stopper pull handle 73 can rotate about the 7-axis of rotation 74 by about 90 °, and the consumer can pull the stopper pull handle 73 to remove the stopper 7 from the aerosol-generating device 100.
As shown in fig. 4, in use, the stopper 7 together with other components of the aerosol-generating device 100 forms at least the following gas pathway:
first gas passage (arrow r): a gas passage between a third space formed by the stopper 7 and the bottom cover 12 and the outside atmosphere;
second gas passage (arrow:): a gas passage between the third space and the first space;
third gas passage (arrow (c)): the gas passage between the third space and the bottom of the heater 4.
The tee joint structure can achieve the following technical effects: first, the external air can smoothly flow to the consumable 200 in the heater 4 through the first gas passage (arrow (r)) and the third gas passage (arrow (c)); secondly, the first space is not completely sealed and is communicated with the bottom of the heater 4, when a consumer sucks and forms negative pressure, gas exchange between the first space and the outside atmosphere can be realized, so that a heat dissipation effect is realized, and hidden dangers caused by overhigh temperature of the power supply 8 and the circuit board 9 in the use process are prevented; thirdly, because fresh air is introduced into the third space, and negative pressure is formed at the bottom of the heater 4, the smoke in the heater 4 is difficult to reversely flow into the first space to pollute the power supply 8 and the circuit board 9.
In one embodiment shown in fig. 8, the stopper bottom 92 is provided with air inlet holes 921 such that a first air passage (arrow) is formed between the third space formed by the stopper 7 and the bottom cover 12 and the outside atmosphere, and outside air can smoothly flow into the aerosol-generating device 100.
In another embodiment shown in fig. 9 to 11, the bottom cover 12 is provided with a first air passage groove 122 at an edge of the stopper insertion port 121, and the sleeve 6 is provided with a second air passage groove 61 around the bottom, and when the bottom cover 12 is assembled with the sleeve 6, the first air passage groove 122 and the second air passage groove 61 form a second air passage (arrow) between the third space and the first space, in which the air flow can smoothly flow.
In another embodiment shown in fig. 5-7, the stopper head 71 is provided with a third air passage groove 711 forming a third air passage (arrow (c)) between the third space and the bottom of the heater 4, and external air can smoothly flow to the consumable 200 in the heater 4 through the intermediate transition through hole 712.
Although the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the foregoing embodiments, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes in the embodiments and/or modifications of the invention can be made, and equivalents and modifications of some features of the invention can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
