In some embodiments, an operator may create a live channel through the operation server, and when creating the live channel, the operator may designate a media asset to be selected for the live channel, and may update the media asset to be selected later. The media assets to be selected are media assets to be selected and played in the live channel, and for display equipment with higher configuration, all media assets to be selected can be played in the live channel, and for display equipment with lower configuration, media assets to be selected with lower requirement for selective playing in the live channel can be configured.
An exemplary method for creating a live channel is as follows: an operator establishes a live channel on an operation server through an OP page, configures the channel to be named as a scientific movie channel, and configures the time for the live broadcast of the channel to be 08:00 of XX month and XX day of XX year and 20:00 of XX month and XX day of XX year and XX month and end time. The operator sets the media asset IDs of 8 movies in the media asset list to be selected of the live channel, and after the configuration is completed, the operation server can generate and display the channel identification, namely the channel ID, of the live channel.
In some embodiments, the operation server generates a resource pool to be selected according to the information of the live channel and the channel identifier of the live channel input by the user, and stores the resource pool according to the channel identifier of the live channel.
In some embodiments, the content included in the candidate resource pool may be as shown in table 3:

The meaning of table 3 is: a live channel with a channel ID of 10001, the channel being named "science fiction movie channel", the channel being configured to start playing from XX year XX month XX day 08:00 to XX year XX month XX day 20:00 ending playing, the channel having a media asset ID of 50001001,50001002,50001003,50001004,50001005,50001006,50001007,50001008 for all candidate media assets.
In some embodiments, after configuring one live channel, the operator may continue to configure the candidate resource pool for the next live channel.
After the operator configures the resource pool to be selected of a live channel, if the user plays the live channel, the terminal-oriented server can screen media supported by terminal equipment for playing from the resource pool to be selected for the terminal equipment of the user.
Referring to fig. 2, a flowchart of a method for playing a live channel according to some embodiments, where the method is used for facing a terminal server, as shown in fig. 2, the playing method may include the following steps:
step S110: a live channel play-up request is received from a display device, the live channel play-up request including a channel identification and a device capability identification of the display device.
In some embodiments, the terminal-oriented server extracts the channel identification and the device capability identification of the display device from the live channel play request after receiving the live channel play request.
Step S120: and responding to the live channel playing request, and acquiring live to-be-selected data corresponding to the channel identifiers, wherein each channel identifier corresponds to one set of live to-be-selected data, and the live to-be-selected data comprises a plurality of media identifiers.
In some embodiments, the terminal-oriented server may obtain, from the operation server, a media asset resource pool of a live channel corresponding to the channel identifier according to the channel identifier. The media asset resource pool comprises live broadcast standby data and live broadcast configuration data, the live broadcast standby data comprises a channel standby media asset list, the list comprises media asset identifiers of a plurality of standby media assets, and the live broadcast configuration data comprises a channel ID, a channel name, channel playing start time and channel playing end time.
Step S130: and matching the equipment capability information corresponding to the equipment capability identifiers with the equipment capability requirement information corresponding to each media asset identifier, and screening media asset identifiers successfully matched with the equipment capability requirement information from the live broadcast candidate data.
In some embodiments, the device capability identifier is matched with the media asset identifier, which means that the device capability information corresponding to the device capability identifier is successfully matched with the device capability requirement information corresponding to the media asset identifier, where the successful match may mean that the second set corresponding to the media asset identifier is a subset of the first set corresponding to the device capability identifier.
The device capabilities of display device a are: if_4k=false, if_drm=true, if_3d=true, and if_dolby_vision=false, i.e., the display device a does not support 4K, dolby view, and such a standby media can be played on the display device a as long as the standby media does not require 4K and dolby view.
I.e. display device a may support playback of media assets of the following nature:
(1)is_4k=False、is_drm=True、is_3d=True、Is_dolby_vision=False;
(2)is_4k=False、is_drm=False、is_3d=True、Is_dolby_vision=False;
(3)is_4k=False、is_drm=True、is_3d=False、Is_dolby_vision=False;
(4)is_4k=False、is_drm=False、is_3d=False、Is_dolby_vision=False。
if one or both of 4k and dolby view are required for the media asset to be selected, the media asset to be selected cannot be played on the display device a.
In some embodiments, the terminal-oriented server obtains device capability information of the display device from a device capability library according to the device capability identifier in the live channel playing request, and obtains the first set.
In some embodiments, the operation server stores the device capability requirement information of each media asset to be selected, and the terminal-oriented server may obtain the device capability requirement information of each media asset to be selected from the operation server to obtain the second set.
In some embodiments, only the media asset identifier and the media asset name of each media asset to be selected are stored in the operation server, and the terminal-oriented server can obtain the equipment capability requirement information of each media asset to be selected from the media asset library according to the media asset ID.
In some embodiments, after obtaining the device capability requirement information of each media resource to be selected and the device capability information of the display device, the terminal-oriented server may match the device capability information with the device capability requirement information, if the matching is successful, the media resource identifier is reserved, and if the matching fails, the media resource identifier is removed.
Referring to fig. 3, a flow chart of a method for screening media candidates according to some embodiments, referring to fig. 3, the method may include the following steps:
step S301: querying a first candidate media asset.
In some embodiments, the terminal-oriented server may obtain the media asset identifier of the first media asset to be selected from the channel candidate list in the live candidate data. For example, referring to table 3, the first candidate is identified as 50001001.
Step S302: the required device capabilities of the current media asset to be selected are queried.
In some embodiments, the terminal-oriented server may obtain, from the media asset library, device capability requirement information corresponding to the media asset identifier according to the media asset identifier. The device capability requirement information indicates the device capability required by the media asset to be selected.
Step S303: and judging whether the display equipment supports equipment capability required by the media resource to be selected.
In some embodiments, if the first set corresponding to the current candidate media asset is the same as the second set corresponding to the display device, the device capability required by the display device to support the candidate media asset is indicated.
In some embodiments, if the first set corresponding to the current candidate media asset is a subset of the second set corresponding to the display device, the device capability required by the display device to support the candidate media asset is indicated.
In some embodiments, if the first set corresponding to the current media asset to be selected is different from the second set corresponding to the display device, and the first set corresponding to the previous media asset to be selected is not a subset of the second set corresponding to the display device, the device capability required by the display device to not support the media asset to be selected is indicated.
Step S304: if so, adding the current media resource to be selected into the scheduling list.
In some embodiments, the display device supports the device capability required by the media asset to be selected, and may arrange a time schedule and add the media asset identifier to the time schedule, where the channel playing start time and the channel playing end time in the time schedule are obtained according to table 3.
Step S305: and judging whether the next media resource to be selected exists.
Step S306: and if the next media resource to be selected exists, processing the next media resource to be selected.
In some embodiments, if there is a next candidate media asset, the process returns to step S303 to start processing the next candidate media asset.
Step S140: and generating live channel data containing the channel identification and the screened media asset identification.
In some embodiments, after all the media assets to be selected are screened, live channel data including channel identifiers and screened media asset identifiers may be generated according to the screened media assets to be selected.
Step S150: and feeding the live channel data back to the display device.
In some embodiments, after feeding back the live channel data to the display device, the display device may begin playing the media asset of the live channel.
To further illustrate the interaction of the display device with the terminal-oriented server and the interaction of the terminal-oriented server with other servers in the above process, fig. 4 shows a schematic diagram of a play-up timing of a live channel according to some embodiments. As shown in fig. 4, if the terminal user plays a live channel on the terminal device, or the display device enters a default live channel after being started, the display device may generate a live channel play request, and send the live channel play request to the terminal-oriented server. Wherein the live channel play request may include a channel identifier and a device capability identifier of the display device, and the device capability identifier may include a model version and a software version shown in table 1.
In some embodiments, the terminal-oriented server may extract the channel identifier and the device capability identifier from the live channel play request after receiving the live channel play request. And acquiring the device capability information of the display device from a device capability library according to the device capability identifier. And acquiring a media resource pool corresponding to the channel identifier from the operation server according to the channel identifier.
In some embodiments, the results returned by the operation server are:

In some embodiments, after obtaining the media resource pool corresponding to the channel identifier, the terminal-oriented server may generate a program_list (scheduling table), where the initial scheduling table is empty, i.e., the program_list= [ ].
In some embodiments, the terminal-oriented server may extract the media asset identifier of each media asset to be selected from the media asset resource pool, then obtain the media asset information corresponding to the media asset to be selected from the media asset library, obtain the equipment capability required by the media asset to be selected according to the media asset information, compare the equipment capability required by the media asset to be selected with the equipment capability of the display equipment, if the equipment capability is consistent, confirm that the display equipment can play the media asset to be selected, if one or more parameters are inconsistent, confirm that the display equipment cannot play the media asset to be selected, filter the media asset to be selected, and continue to process the next media asset to be selected.
Therefore, each to-be-selected media asset is processed in a circulating way, and finally the to-be-selected media assets supported by the display equipment can be screened out from the media asset resource pool, and the screened to-be-selected media assets can be called target media assets.
The screening process of the to-be-selected media assets will be further described below by taking the example that the display device a supports the playing of part of the to-be-selected media assets and the display device B supports the playing of all the to-be-selected media assets.
In some embodiments, for the display device a, the terminal-oriented server performs screening processing on the media assets to be selected one by one according to the order of the channel media asset list to be selected.
