Detailed Description
For the purposes of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present disclosure more apparent, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present disclosure, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be made by one of ordinary skill in the art without inventive effort, based on the embodiments in this disclosure are intended to be within the scope of this disclosure.
With the development of internet technology, users can acquire multimedia contents including video contents and audio contents on different types of application platforms.
The application platform is generally embedded or integrated with a player or a playing component in advance so as to respond to a media playing request triggered by a user on the application platform, thereby realizing a media playing function.
However, as the types of application platforms gradually diversify, the application platforms also gradually have different playing requirements for players or playing components.
Furthermore, when different types of application platforms can be application platforms with different service forms, the player or the playing component has different requirements on the preloading function, the network speed matching function and the resource selecting function.
For example, in some short video pushing application platforms, short video multimedia content is pushed to a user based on a preset recommendation algorithm, and the user can obtain short video content that the user wants to play and watch on the application platform through different operations such as sliding clicking; in such a play scenario, the preloading function and the network speed matching function are particularly important for such an application platform.
For another example, on some application platforms of long video, the user may play multimedia content such as tv dramas, movies, etc. that the user wants to watch by searching or clicking; in such a playback scenario, both the resource selection function and the preloading function are important.
In addition, even the same type of application platform, when the application platform faces different markets or people in different areas, the functions of the player or the playing component required by the application platform are different;
For example, for the same short video application platform, due to the different preferences of people in different geographic areas, the platform will generally provide different versions of applications for different geographic areas, so as to meet the playing requirements of people in different geographic areas on short videos. Because of the different network construction of different geographic areas, the functional parameters of the network speed matching function adopted by the short video application platforms of different geographic areas have regional differences.
Based on the foregoing, it is difficult for the existing player or playing component embedded or integrated on the application platform to meet the personalized requirements of the application platform when the application platform presents multiple service forms or service requirements. The existing embedded player or play execution component cannot meet and adapt to the service requirements and service scenes of different application platforms.
Based on this problem, the inventors have found that the structure of the player or the playing component can be reconstructed so that it can meet the playing requirements of different application platforms. A middle layer with an interface and a component layer of a functional component for realizing the playing function of different application platforms can be arranged in the media playing device, and when playing, a playing request triggered by a user on the application platform is acquired through the interface of the middle layer; determining a functional component corresponding to the application platform in a component layer; the component layer comprises functional components for realizing playing functions of different application platforms; and scheduling the functional component in the application platform to play the media to be played in the play request through the middle platform layer.
In the above scheme of the disclosure, since the component layer includes different application platform functional components, the media playing device can realize the support of the media playing function thereof for the playing request of the user under any application platform, so as to meet the playing requirement of the user.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a network architecture according to the present disclosure, where the network architecture shown in fig. 1 may specifically include a user terminal 1 and a server 2.
The user terminal 1 may be a hardware device capable of installing or carrying an application platform 100, such as a user mobile phone, a desktop computer, an intelligent home device, a tablet computer, etc., where the application platform 100 includes, but is not limited to, an application platform for playing video media, such as a short video application platform, a long video application platform, etc.; the application platform 100 may also include a music application platform, a news application platform, and the like, which need to selectively play the multimedia content.
The media playing device (not shown) mentioned in the present disclosure may be integrated in the application platform 100 of the user equipment 1, or may be integrated in the user equipment 1 independently.
The server 2 may be a separate server or a server cluster disposed in the cloud, which may be used to provide corresponding multimedia resources for the application 100 in the user terminal 1, so that the user terminal 1 plays the multimedia resources.
The present disclosure provides a media playing method carried in a media playing device of a user terminal 1 shown in fig. 1, where the user terminal 1 can be connected to a server 2 through a network, and when an application platform 100 of the terminal 1 triggers playing of multimedia provided by the server 2, the media playing device in the user terminal 1 is invoked to play the multimedia.
Based on the foregoing network architecture, in a first aspect, referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flow chart of a media playing method according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, a media playing method provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure includes:
Step 201, obtaining a play request triggered by a user on an application platform through an interface of a middle platform layer.
Step 202, determining a functional component corresponding to the application platform in a component layer; the component layer comprises functional components for realizing playing functions of different application platforms.
And 203, scheduling the functional component to play the media to be played in the play request in the application platform through the middle platform layer.
The execution main body of the media playing method provided in this example is a media playing device, and as described above, the media playing device may be directly integrated in a user terminal and invoked by an application platform; the media playing device can also be integrated in an application platform of the user terminal and used in cooperation with the main body function of the application platform.
It should be noted that, when the application platform is a platform for playing media, such as the foregoing short video application platform, long video application platform, music application platform, and live broadcast application platform, the media playing device may be integrated in the application platform itself, so as to be directly used when the application platform executes its playing media function.
For example, fig. 3 is an interaction schematic diagram of a media playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and as shown in fig. 3, an application platform 100 of a user terminal 1 is a short video type application platform, and a media playing device is to be a component of the application platform to be integrated in a platform architecture. When the application platform obtains the short video media pushed to the user by the server 2, the media playing device is directly used to execute the media playing method provided in the embodiment, so as to realize playing and displaying of the short video media on the interface of the application platform.
When the main function of the application platform is not playing media, such as the news application platform or the game application platform, the media playing device can be integrated on the user terminal to assist the application platform to play multimedia.
For example, fig. 4 is an interaction schematic diagram of another media playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and as shown in fig. 4, an application platform 100' of a user terminal 1 is a news type application platform, and a media playing device is integrated on the user terminal 1 and used with the application platform. When the application platform 100' needs to play multimedia under the triggering operation of the user, the application platform 100' receives the media to be played issued by the server 2, and meanwhile, invokes the media playing device integrated on the user terminal 1, so that the media playing device plays the media to be played by adopting the media playing method described in the embodiment, and the playing result, that is, the media playing interface, is displayed at the corresponding interface position of the application platform 101 '.
Whether the media playing device and the application platform are integrated in the same architecture or are independent of the application platform, the media playing device receives a playing request triggered by a user through the application platform.
The play request specifically refers to a request generated when the user triggers an operation for playing media on the application platform, where the operation includes a sliding operation, a clicking operation, a pressing operation, and the like, and in this embodiment, in order to enable the media playing method to quickly call a function component, the play request should include relevant information of the application platform, such as a type identifier of the application platform.
After the user triggers the play request to the application platform, the media play device provided in this embodiment monitors through the interface of the platform layer to obtain the play request.
Then, the media playing device selects the functional components corresponding to the application platform in the playing request from the functional components of the playing functions of different application platforms in the component layer, and controls each functional component to be matched for use by utilizing the middle layer, so that the playing and displaying of the media to be played on the application platform are realized.
Unlike existing players or playback components, in order to make the media playback apparatus in this embodiment more flexibly adaptable to different application platforms or different application scenarios, the media playback apparatus in this embodiment adopts a two-layer architecture: middle stage layer and assembly layer.
In order to be combined with each application platform or application scene, the middle platform layer in the media playing device provides an external interface function, and through the interface, the application platform can send information related to platform playing requirement configuration or application scene requirement configuration to the media playing device so that the middle platform layer can call a functional component corresponding to the requirement configuration to realize the functional requirement of the application platform.
Specifically, fig. 5 is a schematic architecture diagram of a media playing device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and as shown in fig. 5, a middle layer in the media playing device has an interface 1011 with an external interface function and a collaboration module 1012 with a scheduling collaboration function. The interface 1011 is an interaction interface for performing data interaction or information interaction with the application platform, and the media playing device can obtain the playing request through the interface of the middle layer. The collaboration module 1012 refers to a module that invokes a module of a functional component in the component layer to satisfy a play request according to a collaboration mechanism pre-packaged therein according to the play request.
In practical application, each functional component in the component layer is generally identified by the type of the application platform to distinguish, so that the collaboration module 1012 can find the corresponding functional component and implement component scheduling.
As for the component layers, as shown in fig. 5, functional components for implementing the playing functions of different application platforms are included in the component layers of the media playing device.
For each functional component, a configuration file or a configuration program of a different application platform capable of realizing the function of the component is included, and the configuration file or the configuration program of the different application platform can be represented by a file name or a program name, for example, "tt_layer" is used for representing the functional component corresponding to the application platform, and "exo_layer" is used for representing the functional component corresponding to the application platform.
In other words, when the middle layer needs to schedule components based on the scene of the "tt" application platform, the functional components including the "tt_layer" can be found, so that the functional components provide support for the media playing of the "tt" application platform.
In addition, in the component layer of the embodiment, in order to be convenient to meet different playing scene requirements, splitting processing is performed on different synchronous programs related in the media playing process, so that the different synchronous programs can be independently operated or combined to operate under the scheduling of the middle layer.
And aiming at the split functional components, under the control of the middle platform layer, the media playing device can realize the response to the playing requests from different application platforms and the playing processing of the media to be played.
For example, a select file component 1021 may be included in the component layer; the file selection component 1012 mainly selects a proper data source according to a specified rule under the condition that a plurality of data sources exist for media to be played, so that the playing experience of a user is improved. Wherein the different data sources include, but are not limited to, data sources of different video rates.
Correspondingly, in the media playing method, the middle layer of the media playing device can control the gear selecting component to determine at least one playing resource package from a plurality of candidate resource packages with different resource configurations of the media to be played according to the playing request so as to play the media to be played.
For another example, a speed measurement component 1022 may be included in the component layer; the method mainly can utilize a speed measurement algorithm to carry out instantaneous test on the network speed in the current scene, so as to obtain the network speed related information of the scene.
Correspondingly, in the media playing method, the media playing device can control the speed measuring component to test the data transmission speed through the middle layer so as to play the media to be played based on the current data transmission speed.
For another example, the component layer may include a preloading component 1023, which performs preloading processing mainly for at least one play resource packet in the resource list corresponding to the media to be played, so that the media to be played can fully utilize the free time to preload the resource packet to be played later in the playing process.
Correspondingly, in the media playing method, the middle layer of the media playing device performs preloading processing on at least one playing resource package of the media to be played by controlling the preloading component so as to play the media to be played based on the preloading processing result.
For another example, a play execution component 1024 may be included in the component layer, which is mainly used to support the play processing of the media, so as to implement play of the media. Among them, the play processing includes, but is not limited to, video rendering processing, play control status callback processing, and the like.
Correspondingly, in the media playing method, the middle layer of the media playing device executes the playing processing of the media to be played by controlling the playing execution component.
Through the architecture and the playing method, aiming at the playing request of a user under any application platform, the media playing device can realize the support of the media playing function and meet the playing requirement of the user.
Because the middle platform layer and the component layer are relatively independent, the operation and maintenance of the media playing device can be respectively carried out, so that the application platform can customize the functional components of the media playing device based on the requirement of the platform on playing functions, and the playing service requirement of the application platform on different service scenes is met.
Meanwhile, when the application platform has more playing demands, corresponding functional components in the media playing device are updated correspondingly.
In an alternative embodiment, the present embodiment provides a pluggable component update manner to support updating a portion of components in a media playback device.
Fig. 6 is a flowchart of another media playing method according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
Step 601, obtaining a plug-in component issued by a server through an interface of a middle platform layer; the plug-in component is used for updating the target function component of the target application platform;
step 602, updating a target function component of a target application platform in the component layer according to the plug-in component.
In particular, in use, the original media playback device may be pre-deployed or integrated on a user terminal or application platform. When a certain functional component of a certain application platform needs to be updated, the functional component is dynamically issued from a server to a user terminal or the application platform in a plug-in component mode, and replaces the original functional component in the media playing device. The scheduling among the functional components is realized through the middle layer, and the updating of the independent functional components is not perceived by other functional components, so that the bag body data volume of the components required to be updated when the independent functional components are updated is smaller, and the operation and maintenance management is convenient.
According to the media playing method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, a playing request triggered by a user on an application platform is obtained through an interface of a middle platform layer; determining a functional component corresponding to the application platform in a component layer; the component layer comprises functional components for realizing playing functions of different application platforms; and scheduling the functional component in the application platform to play the media to be played in the play request through the middle platform layer. Because the component layer comprises different application platform functional components, aiming at the playing request of a user under any application platform, the media playing device can realize the support of the media playing function thereof and meet the playing requirement of the user.
In a second aspect, corresponding to the media playing method of the above embodiment, fig. 7 is a block diagram of a media playing device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. For ease of illustration, only portions relevant to embodiments of the present disclosure are shown.
