FIG. 3 is a block diagram of a logic decision according to an embodiment of the present invention. It should be understood by those skilled in the art that the illustration in fig. 3 is merely provided to facilitate understanding of the operational logic of the present invention, and the detailed technical contents of the present application should be subject to the detailed technical solutions of the foregoing detailed description. Moreover, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that fig. 3 does not show all the determination logics, for example, fig. 3 does not show an operation logic of "system information indicates to the mobile terminal to ignore indication of repetition level carried in paging information", and those skilled in the art can fully understand all the logic operations in the present application according to the disclosure of other parts of the present application and the exemplary logic block diagram of fig. 3, and applicant does not repeat the description.
In the age of 5G communication, due to the popularization of femto base stations, the transmission power of the base stations is generally small, the coverage area is limited, therefore, in order to implement the Coverage Enhancement (CE) technology, a series of solutions are proposed in the prior art, and 3GPP proposal R1-156934 in the prior art proposes to implement the coverage enhancement technology by repeating paging messages (for a schematic diagram, see the reference figure 1), the main starting point of this technique is that a plurality of Paging Occasions (PO) are designed in one paging cycle (paging cycle), for a configuration with a low number of repetitions (e.g., the level 1 configuration of this reference), the handset need only monitor the paging message in the first time period in each PO, for a configuration with a high number of repetitions (e.g. the level 3 configuration of this reference), the handset needs to monitor all time periods of each PO to obtain all paging messages or repetitions of paging messages. However, the related art has a problem in that the UE does not know the repetition level of the paging message, and thus cannot efficiently receive the paging message. For example, if the UE does not know the repetition level of the paging message, the UE may attempt all the possibilities in an exhaustive manner based on the possibilities of all the repetition levels, thereby achieving blind decoding of the paging message, but this approach is inefficient and mobile terminals consume too much power. This is not possible if it is desired to signal the UE (whether RRC signaling, MAC CE or PDCCH control messages) using signaling, because when the base station pages the handset, the handset may be in a deep sleep or dormant state, at which time the handset is not in RRC connection with the base station, the MAC layer connection is also broken, at which time the handset may not detect the PDCCH channel and only monitor the paging messages, in which case the aforementioned signaling cannot be established. If the repetition level of the paging information is configured only by using the system information, the flexibility of the configuration is not enough, if the terminal suddenly moves to a position far away from the base station, the low coverage enhancement level may not meet the communication requirement, and updating the system information in real time to meet the requirement of one mobile terminal will simultaneously cause the influence on other mobile terminals. In view of the foregoing problems in the prior art, the present application provides a corresponding solution.
