Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of medical pathology, relates to preservation of tissue wax masses, and particularly relates to a method and a device for preserving tissue wax masses.
Background
The tissue wax block is an important component of a pathological archive, plays an important role in the continuous diagnosis and treatment of patients, pathological teaching and scientific research, and is a material evidence with important legal significance at the same time, and the eighteenth item in the guidelines (trial) for the construction and management of pathological departments (trial) issued by the Ministry of health, 3.2009, clearly indicates that the storage life of the tissue wax block is 15 years or even longer. During this period, the tissue wax block, if improperly preserved, becomes unusable, which can have severe consequences. Therefore, how to effectively preserve tissue wax masses for long periods of time is an important task for pathologists, especially pathologists. The most important thing for storing the wax block is how to seal the wax block. The wax sealing can not only avoid the damage of wax blocks by worms, but also reduce the oxidation and slow down the loss of DNA and antigen; but simultaneously, a great deal of time is needed for wax sealing, so that a great deal of workload is increased, the problem always troubles many pathology departments, and in recent years, under the background that the specimen quantity is increased, the method of not sealing wax is adopted.
The traditional wax block sealing method is to put the wax block on a heated metal plate, or to heat tweezers with an alcohol lamp for hot coating and sealing, or to dip melted wax with a brush pen for coating and sealing, but the methods have a plurality of problems. The hot coating method causes wax block deformation due to the fact that temperature is not easy to control, tissues protrude out of the surface of the wax block after paraffin surrounding the tissues is melted at the same time, the tissues are dried and mildewed possibly, the tissues are easily burnt due to the fact that the temperature is too high, the plane of hot coating of the tweezers is not flat, and filing appearance is affected. The hot-coating with tweezers and the simple coating method have the defects that the wax film is not firmly adhered to the tissue and is easy to peel off due to the temperature difference between the wax block and the sealed and stored molten wax.
