Abstract
The invention discloses a method for manufacturing a color masking veneering in an oral crown, which is characterized in that the color masking veneering is manufactured by utilizing a 3D printing technology based on a digital optical scanner and false tooth design software, the color masking veneering uses a low-transmittance ceramic material, and the color masking veneering is in place on an abutment preparation body by designing the veneering range of a digital abutment model and crystallizing after the 3D printing technology is completely positioned, so that a discolored tooth body is masked, and the full crown repair of a high-transmittance all-ceramic material is facilitated. The veneering prepared by the method expands the clinical application range of high-permeability ceramic materials such as glass ceramics and the like, enhances the strength of the restoration body, and improves the patient experience and satisfaction.

s3, sending the designed color shading veneers to a computer aided manufacturing unit, and printing the color shading veneers by a printer in a 3D mode;
s4, positioning the printed shading overlay at the corresponding position of the abutment of the solid model and fixing, and optically scanning again to obtain abutment data with the shading overlay;
s5, after the design of the abutment data full crown restoration body is completed in the oral cavity computer aided design software, the full crown manufacturing is completed by the computer aided manufacturing unit.
In step S2, after the veneering restoration is selected by the computer aided design software for the portal cavity of the digital model, the position of the veneering termination line needs to be drawn on the labial side of the abutment.
The range of the stop line is enlarged by 0.5-1mm according to the discoloration range of the abutment shown in the photograph or other data provided by the doctor, and no special range can comprise the labial side of the abutment and the near and far middle turning angles.
The veneering termination line is 1-2mm close to the labial shoulder and cannot contact the shoulder.
The solid model is a plaster model prepared in a traditional mould taking mode or a resin model printed by a digital three-dimensional model obtained by S1.

s2, guiding the digital three-dimensional model into oral cavity computer aided design software, automatically generating a color shading overlay by utilizing the oral cavity computer aided design software, and adjusting the shape of the color shading overlay to be consistent with the shape of the abutment;
s3, sending the designed color shading veneers to a computer aided manufacturing unit, and printing the color shading veneers by a printer in a 3D mode;
s4, positioning the printed shading overlay at the corresponding position of the abutment of the solid model and fixing, and optically scanning again to obtain abutment data with the shading overlay;
s5, after the design of the abutment data full crown restoration body is completed in the oral cavity computer aided design software, the full crown manufacturing is completed by the computer aided manufacturing unit.

The method for manufacturing the color-masking overlay in whole crown of oral cavity according to claim 1, wherein in step S2, after the digitalized model is introduced into the oral cavity computer aided design software to select the overlay prosthesis, the position of the overlay termination line needs to be drawn on the labial side of the abutment.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein in step S3, the color masking overlay is made of low transparency zirconia or glass ceramic.
10. The method of claim 1 wherein in step S5, said full crown is made of a highly transparent glass-ceramic.
