Based on the dimming lamp of the embodiment, the invention also provides a dimming method, the dimming lamp is arranged at the top end of the plant along the horizontal direction, the plurality of lamp strips 2 are arranged along the same horizontal plane, and the light homogenizing surface is adjusted to uniformly irradiate the light receiving surface of the plant; when the growth height of the plant is increased, the relative positions of the plurality of light bars 2 in the horizontal direction are adjusted along the length direction of the track 11, so that the light homogenizing surface moves vertically upwards and uniformly irradiates the light receiving surface of the plant again.
According to the dimming method, the height of the light homogenizing surface is changed and adjusted under the condition that the height of the lamp is not changed by moving the relative position of the lamp strip 2 on the lamp, so that the problem of uneven growth of plants caused by different light receiving in the growth process is solved, the flexible adjustment and the continuous adjustment of the light homogenizing effect of the lamp along with the growth height of the plants are realized, and the light homogenizing effect is good.
