Description

Adapter
Technical Field
The field of the invention relates to the field of vehicle devices, in particular devices for wiping motor vehicle windscreens.
Background
Vehicles generally use a wiper blade to scrape rain, snow and foreign materials attached to a windshield, thereby improving visibility of the windshield and increasing driving safety. The wiper comprises a wiper bracket assembly, a wiper arm and an adapter for connecting the wiper bracket assembly and the wiper arm.
The adapter is generally U-shaped, has two substantially parallel side walls, and is embedded inside the wiper arm connecting portion to mutually support and abut against inner end faces of the two side walls of the wiper arm connecting portion. When the windscreen wiper works, the most main matched part of the adapter and the wiper arm is the matching of the side wall and the side wall, so that the requirement on the machining precision of the outer side surface of the side wall of the adapter is high. Generally, in order to reduce the area of the outer side surfaces of the side walls to be processed, a plurality of longitudinally spaced positioning lugs are arranged on the outer side surfaces of the two side walls, so that the processing precision of the outer side end surfaces of the lugs is only required to be ensured. As disclosed in patent No. CN106809174b, the outer side surfaces of the two side walls of the adapter include protruding ribs, or as disclosed in CN107031575b, strips with small thickness are formed on the outer side surfaces of the side walls, the strips defining substantially parallel support surfaces, all of which disclose only that the abutting supporting engagement of the two side walls of the adapter with the two side walls of the wiper arm connecting portion is achieved by the protruding ribs or strips (equivalent to positioning projections), thereby reducing the machining accuracy requirements for the outer side surfaces of the two side walls of the adapter as a whole.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention mainly aims to provide an adapter which can be adapted to a wiper arm in a larger size range and has a longer service life.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an adapter for connecting a wiper blade assembly to a wiper arm, the adapter having at least two substantially parallel side walls, the adapter being inserted into an inner end of a wiper arm connecting portion, each of the side walls being adapted to abut against and fit with a side wall of the wiper arm connecting portion at a position corresponding thereto, wherein each of the side walls forms at least a first contact surface and a second contact surface, the first contact surface being a surface which abuts against an inner side end surface of the side wall of the wiper arm connecting portion first in a lateral direction, and the second contact surface being a surface which abuts against an inner side end surface of the side wall of the wiper arm connecting portion second in the lateral direction; the first contact surface is arranged in an area where the side wall can realize elastic deformation, and at least part of the second contact surface is arranged in an area where the side wall can not realize elastic deformation; and the distance W1 between the two first contact surfaces respectively arranged on the two side walls is larger than the distance between the two second contact surfaces respectively arranged on the two side walls, and the two first contact surfaces are respectively used for producing interference fit with the inner side end surfaces of the two side walls of the connecting part of the wiper arm.
"substantially parallel" is to be understood as: the two side walls enclose an angle which deviates from 0 ° by not more than 8 °, advantageously not more than 5 °, particularly advantageously not more than 2 °. It is also understood that the two side walls are substantially parallel.
"longitudinal direction" is to be understood as: corresponding to the direction of the adapter or wiper arm along the length and its extension; "lateral" is a direction perpendicular to the "longitudinal" direction, which corresponds to the direction in which the adapter or wiper arm extends along the width thereof.
Definition of windshield wiper bracket component, ordinary skilled person in the art can know that the windshield wiper bracket component has the windshield wiper support at least, windshield wiper adhesive tape and setting are used for at windshield wiper support middle part with adapter articulated pivot connection seat, this windshield wiper support can be for having the bone support or be the boneless support of constituteing by the shell fragment, or by having the mixed support that bone support and shell fragment constitute jointly, the bottom of this windshield wiper support is direct or the indirect windshield wiper adhesive tape that has set firmly, the windshield wiper support is used for transmitting the drive to apply to the reciprocal wobbling lateral force of windshield wiper adhesive tape, and ensure that the windshield wiper adhesive tape hugs closely the vehicle, general condition has the bone windshield wiper support not to have the water conservancy diversion sheath, and boneless support has the water conservancy diversion sheath, this water conservancy diversion sheath sets up the top at the windshield wiper adhesive tape.
Through the arrangement, the adapter disclosed by the invention can be adapted to the connecting part of the wiper arm with larger distance between two side walls, because the adapter is made of plastic materials, at the beginning of design, the distance W1 between two first contact surfaces is slightly larger than the connecting part of the wiper arm with larger distance between two side walls widely existing on the market (situation 1 for short), and the two first contact surfaces which are widened in advance are supported against the inner side end surfaces of the two side walls (situation 1) of the connecting part of the wiper arm, so that the adapter can be stably installed between the connecting parts of the wiper arm (situation 1); when the less windscreen wiper arm connecting portion of adaptation both sides wall interval (condition 2 for short), because first contact surface sets up and can realize elastic deformation region at the lateral wall, through the side direction extrusion of the first contact surface of windscreen wiper arm connecting portion both sides wall to its setting that corresponds, make first contact surface inwards produce elastic deformation along the lateral direction, two second contact surfaces produce transition fit with windscreen wiper arm connecting portion both sides wall respectively simultaneously, its first contact surface (as main holding surface) and second contact surface (as supplementary holding surface) all regard as leaning on the holding surface of windscreen wiper arm connecting portion both sides wall, thereby realize stable connection between them.
Further, the distance difference between the first contact surface and the second contact surface along the lateral direction is less than the maximum elastic displacement offset distance generated by the first contact surface inwards along the lateral direction due to the external force, and the maximum elastic displacement offset distance of the first contact surface is a critical value of plastic deformation of the elastic deformation area of the corresponding side wall inwards along the lateral direction due to the external force.
With the arrangement, when the wiper arm is in a working state, the wiper arm connecting part drives the adapter to reciprocate to scrape left and right, the main stress surfaces of the two side walls of the adapter can be changed alternately, namely, the side wall of the adapter, which is positioned at the opposite side to the wiping direction of the wiper arm, is the main stress surface, under the conditions that the driving arm connecting part belongs to the conditions 1 and 2, when the wiper is in a normal use state, the first contact surface of the adapter is abutted against the two side walls of the driving arm connecting part and is used as the main support surface of the driving arm connecting part to generate small elastic deformation, under the normal working condition of the wiper, the elastic deformation area of the side wall where the first contact surface is positioned can not continuously generate the inward elastic deformation along the movement direction of the driving arm, but when abnormal conditions such as severe weather and long-time high-speed wiping are required, or the rubber strip of the wiper is used for a period of time, when the lubricating coating on the surface of the adhesive tape is gradually weakened, the frictional resistance with the glass is gradually increased, so that the first contact surface is extruded by the side wall of the connecting part of the driving arm and continuously and inwards elastically deforms towards the moving direction of the driving arm until the first contact surface is propped against the second contact surface, at least part of the second contact surface is arranged in the inelastic deformation area of the side wall, so that the second contact surface basically does not elastically deform and generates small plastic deformation at most, the second contact surface can effectively support the side wall in a propping manner, the first contact surface is prevented from further inwards deviating in the lateral direction, the side wall is ensured not to generate plastic deformation in the area where the first contact surface is positioned, the first contact surface can always support the two side walls of the connecting part of the driving arm in a propping manner, and finally the adapter with the support assembly and the connecting part of the driving arm can be kept in a stable connection state in the whole service life cycle, the service life of the product is prolonged.
The side wall is a solid member and comprises at least two wall thicknesses with different thicknesses, a plurality of supporting parts are arranged on the inner side end face of the side wall at intervals, the middle of the side wall, which is basically located in the two adjacent supporting parts, is an elastic deformation area, the first positioning lug is convexly arranged on the outer side end face, located in the elastic deformation area, of the side wall, the outer side end face of the first positioning lug is used as a first contact face, the outer side end face, located in the area other than the first positioning lug, of the side wall is used as a second contact face, at least part of the second contact face is located in an overlapping area with the supporting parts, and the overlapping area of the side wall and the supporting parts is an inelastic deformation area of the side wall.
Furthermore, a second positioning bump is protruded at a position where the outer end surface of the side wall overlaps or is adjacent to the support portion, and at this time, the outer end surface of the second positioning bump serves as a second contact surface.

Therefore, these and other parties should not be taken into account either
Bit words are to be construed as limiting words.
Referring to fig. 2, the adaptor of the present invention is detachably mounted on the wiper arm connecting part 200, i.e., is embedded inside the wiper arm connecting part 200. Wherein the wiper arm connecting portion 200 is substantially U-shaped with two substantially parallel arranged side walls 2. Such as the wiper arm connection disclosed in patent No. CN103826939B, or the wiper arm connection disclosed in CN 105644513B. Since the wiper arm connecting portion is not the invention of the present invention and is the prior art, it is not described in detail.
In the following embodiments, the wiper arm connecting portion 200 shown in fig. 2 is mainly used as an example, but not limited to.
As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the adaptor 100a has at least two substantially parallel side walls 1, the outer end faces of the side walls 1 are used for abutting engagement with the inner end faces of the side walls 2 of the wiper arm connecting portion 200, the inner end faces of the two side walls 1 of the adaptor 100a are provided with protruding pivot portions 14, in this embodiment, the protruding shaft 14 is used as the pivot portion, the protruding shaft 14 and the pivot portion of the wiper frame assembly are mutually pivoted, so that the adaptor 100a can be vertically and pivotally connected to the wiper frame assembly (not shown), at the same time, at least a retaining assembly for preventing the wiper arm connecting portion 200 of the adaptor 100a is further provided on the adaptor 100a, different types of wiper arm connecting portions will make the adaptor 100a form different retaining assemblies, but this is not a protection focus of the present invention, i.e. a person skilled in the art can know that the adaptor 100a is prevented from being separated from the wiper arm connecting portion 200 by providing the necessary retaining assembly on the adaptor, the anti-separation assembly of the adapter 100a will not be described in detail. The present invention focuses on the structural design of both side walls of the adapter, i.e., by improving the design of both side walls of the adapter 100a, it is ensured that the adapter 100a can have a wider adaptability while being stably connected with the wiper arm connecting portion 200.
In the first embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 1, 3 and 4, the sidewall 1 of the adapter 100a is a solid member, and a plurality of supporting portions 11 are provided at intervals on the inner end surface thereof, and an area of the sidewall 1 where the supporting portions 11 overlap or abut is an inelastic deformation area, and an area of the sidewall 1 is an elastic deformation area substantially in the middle of two adjacent supporting portions 11. At least one first positioning bump 121 which is vertically downward and is in a long strip shape is convexly arranged on the side wall 1 in the elastic deformation area, that is, at least one first positioning bump 121 is arranged at the basic middle position of two adjacent supporting parts 11, preferably, a first positioning bump 121 is arranged at the basic middle position of each two adjacent supporting parts 11, that is, each side wall 1 at least has two first positioning bumps 121 arranged at intervals, and the first positioning bumps 121 respectively arranged on the two side walls 1 are symmetrically arranged two by two along the longitudinal direction; the understanding that the first positioning projection 121 is disposed at the substantially middle position of each two adjacent supporting parts 11 means that a plurality of first positioning projections 121 are uniformly disposed on the outer side end surface of the side wall 1 along the longitudinal length direction to seek a more uniform supporting sidewall 2, therefore, the first positioning projection 121 is not necessarily disposed at the exactly middle position of the two adjacent supporting parts 11, and may be disposed at the more adjacent position of the middle position of the two adjacent supporting parts 11 due to the limitation of the length of the adapter, and the applicability may be changed according to the actual situation. It is certainly preferable that the design is compatible with both of them, that is, the first positioning lug 121 is disposed at the middle position of the two adjacent supporting parts 11, and the first positioning lug 121 is uniformly disposed on the outer end surface of the side wall 1, and the design variants still fall into the protection scope of the present invention.
Since the outer end surface of the first positioning protrusion 121 is the first contact surface a and the outer end surface of the sidewall 1 in the region other than the first positioning protrusion 121 is the second contact surface b, the distance W1 between the outer end surfaces (the first contact surfaces a) of the first positioning protrusions 121 disposed on the two sidewalls 1 is greater than the distance W2 between the two second contact surfaces b disposed on the two sidewalls 1.
When the adaptor 100a is mounted on the wiper arm connecting portion 200, the distance between the outer end faces (first contact faces a) of the first positioning protrusions 121 respectively disposed on the two side walls 1 is the largest, and the first positioning protrusions 121 are first abutted against the inner end faces of the side walls 2, and the first positioning protrusions 121 are driven to shift inward in the lateral direction, so that whether the inner end faces of the two side walls 2 of the wiper arm connecting portion 200 abut against the second contact faces b or not is determined by the distance between the inner end faces of the two side walls 2 of the wiper arm connecting portion 200, when the distance between the inner end faces of the two side walls 2 of the wiper arm connecting portion 200 is small, the inner end faces of the side walls 2 are in transition fit with the second contact faces b, and when the distance between the inner end faces of the two side walls 2 of the wiper arm connecting portion 200 is large, the inner end faces of the side walls 2 are in slight gap fit with the second contact faces b, however, since the first positioning protrusion 121 (the first contact surface a) is located in the elastic deformation region of the sidewall 1, and the first contact surface a of the sidewall 1 can always produce interference fit with the inner side end surfaces of the two side walls 2 of the wiper arm connecting portion 200, as long as the distance between the inner side end surfaces of the two side walls 2 of the wiper arm connecting portion 200 is within the range of (W1, W2), the two side walls 2 of the wiper arm connecting portion 200 can be fixed in advance by at least the first contact surfaces a of the two side walls 1, thereby achieving stable connection between the wiper adapter 100a and the wiper arm connecting portion 200.
It can be understood that, since the first positioning protrusion 121 is disposed in the elastic deformation area of the side wall, that is, the side wall is disposed at the substantially middle position of the two adjacent supporting portions 11, when the wiper blade operates, the elastic deformation amount of the side wall 1 in the area where the first positioning protrusion 121 is located is greater than that in other areas, the area is laterally pressed by the side wall 2 for a long time, and once the pressing causes the laterally inward elastic displacement offset amount to exceed the maximum elastic displacement offset distance, the side wall area where the first positioning protrusion 121 is located is easily plastically deformed, in order to prevent this, when the first contact surface a, that is, the outer end surface of the first positioning protrusion 121 is elastically deformed inward to a certain extent, the second contact surface b can abut against the side wall 2 in common with the first contact surface a, so that the deformation amount of the side wall area where the first positioning protrusion 121 is located does not exceed the limit value of the plastic deformation, therefore, the distance difference between the first contact surface a and the second contact surface b along the lateral direction is less than the maximum elastic displacement offset distance generated by the first contact surface a inward along the lateral direction due to the external force, the maximum elastic displacement offset distance of the first contact surface a is the critical value of the elastic deformation region of the corresponding side wall inward along the lateral direction due to the external force, and the preferred value range is that the value range of the distance difference between the distance W1 between the two first contact surfaces a along the lateral direction and the distance W2 between the two second contact surfaces b along the lateral direction is equal to [0.2mm, 0.6mm ].
More preferably, the material removing portion 123 is disposed in a region of the sidewall 1 where the first contact surface a is located, specifically, a hollow portion or a groove is disposed at a position adjacent to the first positioning protrusion 121, the material removing portion 123 disclosed in this embodiment is a hollow groove disposed above the first positioning protrusion 121 and perpendicular to the first positioning protrusion 121, and by the above arrangement, the inward elastic displacement offset distance of the sidewall elastic deformation region where the first contact surface a is located can be further increased.
In the second embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 5 to 7, the basic structure of the adapter 100b disclosed in the present invention is substantially the same as that of the first embodiment, except that: the second positioning protrusion 122 is protruded at a position overlapping or adjacent to the support portion 11, and the outer end surface of the second positioning protrusion 122 is used as the second contact surface b instead of the outer end surface of the first embodiment located at the side wall region of the non-first positioning protrusion 121, so that the processing accuracy of the outer end surface of the second positioning protrusion 122 is more easily ensured because the area of the outer end surface of the second positioning protrusion 122 is much smaller than the area of the side wall region of the non-first positioning protrusion 121.
Preferably, the first positioning protrusions 121 and the second positioning protrusions 122 are alternately disposed, and each of the first positioning protrusions 121 and each of the second positioning protrusions 122 are symmetrically disposed on the two sidewalls 1, so that the stress is more balanced when the sidewalls 2 are supported.
It can be understood that, for better supporting the sidewall 2, the area of the outer side end face of the second positioning protrusion 122 is generally larger than the area of the outer side end face of the first positioning protrusion 121, and in the embodiment, the length of the second positioning protrusion 122 in the longitudinal direction is longer than the length of the first positioning protrusion 121 in the longitudinal direction, so as to reduce the elastic deformation of the sidewall region where the second positioning protrusion 122 is located by increasing the contact area (the second contact surface b) of the outer side end face of the second positioning protrusion 122. The second positioning protrusion 122 is preferably, but not limited to, an elongated structure like the first positioning protrusion 121. In order to uniformly arrange the second positioning projections 122, the second positioning projections 122 do not completely overlap the support portion 11, and therefore it is easy to understand that it is also appropriate to arrange the second positioning projections 122 at positions adjacent to the support portion 11, as long as it is satisfied that the sidewall region where the second contact surface b is located in the inelastic deformation region.
The third embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 8 and 9, the adapter 100c disclosed by the present invention has the same basic structure as the second embodiment, and the main difference is that the configuration of the side wall 1 of the adapter 100c of the present embodiment is different from the side wall 1 of the second embodiment, specifically, the adapter 100c of the present embodiment comprises an outer wall 1a and an inner wall 1b which are substantially parallel to each other along the longitudinal direction and a plurality of connecting arms 13 connecting them, so that the side wall forms a longitudinal member with a hollow inner cavity and a certain width by the outer wall 1a, the inner wall 1b and the plurality of connecting arms 13. It is of course also understood that the side wall 1 is provided with several cavities in its longitudinal direction, so that a longitudinal member with a hollow interior and a certain width is formed. The connecting arms 13 correspond to the support portions 11 of the second embodiment such that the closer to the side wall regions of the connecting arms 13, the smaller the inward resilient displacement offset distance of the side wall regions. At this time, as in the second embodiment, a first positioning protrusion 121 is protruded at a substantially central position of the outer wall 1a at the adjacent two connecting arms 13, and a second positioning protrusion 122 is protruded at a position overlapping or adjacent to the connecting arms 13 at an outer end surface of the outer wall 1 a.
A fourth embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 10 to 13, the adapter 1d disclosed in the present invention has substantially the same structure as the third embodiment, and the main difference is the arrangement orientation of the first positioning protrusion 121 and the second positioning protrusion 122 provided on the outer end surface of the side wall 1 and the change of their shapes. The two side walls 1 of the adapter are fixedly connected together by a top wall 3, and the closer the side wall area is to the connecting arm 13 or the top wall 3, the smaller the offset distance of the inward elastic displacement along the lateral direction is, and the weaker the elastic deformation capacity is. In the adapter 100d of the present embodiment, not only the first positioning protrusion 121 is protruded at the middle of the two adjacent connecting arms 13 as in the third embodiment, and the second positioning protrusion 122 is protruded at the position where the outer end surface of the outer wall 1a overlaps or abuts on the connecting arms 13, but also the first positioning protrusion 121 is disposed at the position where the side wall 1 is far from the top wall 3 and the second positioning protrusion 122 is disposed at the position where the side wall 1 is close to the top wall 3 at the rear of the side wall 1 of the adapter 100 d. It is therefore also within the scope of the invention to consider the first contact surface a and the second contact surface b not only arranged in the longitudinal direction of the side wall 1, but also in the height direction of the side wall 1, i.e. the first contact surface a is located in a side wall region (belonging to the elastically deformable region) remote from the top wall 3 and the second contact surface b is located in a side wall region (belonging to the non-elastically deformable region) adjacent to the top wall 3.
In a fifth embodiment of the present invention, not shown, the present invention also discloses an adapter made of two materials with different elastic moduli, such as an adapter made by using a 3D printer or an injection molding machine, wherein the sidewall comprises two materials with different elastic moduli, a region corresponding to the first contact surface (a) of the sidewall is made of a material with a small elastic modulus, and a region corresponding to the second contact surface (b) of the sidewall is at least partially made of a material with a large elastic modulus.
It should be understood that all of the above preferred embodiments are exemplary and not restrictive, and that various modifications and changes in the specific embodiments described above, which would occur to persons skilled in the art upon consideration of the above teachings, are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
