Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of medical instruments, in particular to an external fixation bracket for phalangeal fracture.
Background
The hand is an important organ of human labor, and the requirements on functions require both mechanical stability and joint flexibility. The current common treatment scheme for phalangeal fractures includes: the external fixation of phalanges by small splints, the fixation of phalanges by crossed kirschner wires, the fixation of phalanges by miniature steel plate screws, the fixation of phalanges by single-side external supports, the fixation of phalanges by micro-ilizarov external supports, the fixation of phalanges by single-side external supports through the combination of joint crossing and kirschner wires, and the fixation of elastic intramedullary nails.
The above treatment options are basically problematic for fractures of the finger shaft, but disadvantages are evident when applied to fractures of the metaphysis of the finger. Because the phalanges are short and the metaphyseal bone fracture block is smaller and cannot accommodate a plurality of kirschner wires or steel plate screws, the scheme can not be used for metaphyseal bone fracture because the joint is fixed to cause a certain degree of joint stiffness, the joint surface is damaged through joint penetrating nails, or periosteum around the fractured end is peeled off to destroy the residual blood supply of the metaphyseal bone block. Although there is some phalangeal metacarpal external fixation support with joint (patent document No. 201721703576. X), it needs to drill holes on adjacent healthy knuckles for fixation, and there is no pressure effect on phalangeal fracture, and there is still its limitation. Therefore, a fixing instrument is urgently needed at present, which can achieve the purposes of stably fixing the fracture block and not influencing the joint movement.
