Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the protector and the wire harness according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited to this embodiment.
[ embodiment ]
One embodiment of the protector and the wire harness according to the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 1 to 10.
The symbol 1 in fig. 1 to 4 indicates a protector according to the present embodiment. In addition, reference numeral WH in fig. 1 to 4 denotes a wire harness of the present embodiment. The wire harness WH includes electric wires mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile, and includes an electric wire group Weg provided with at least an inner electric wire We1 and an outer electric wire We 2. The protector 1 is a wire protection member that protects the inner wire We1 and the outer wire We2, and the inner wire We1 is wired inside and the outer wire We2 is wired outside. The protector 1 is one of the components of the wire harness WH by assembling the inner electric wire We1 and the outer electric wire We2 inside and outside, respectively.
Here, each of the internal electric wire We1 and the external electric wire We2 may be constituted by 1 wire, or may be constituted as a wire bundle in which a plurality of wires are bundled into 1. The inner wire We1 and the outer wire We2 shown here are cylindrical in shape, regardless of whether they are formed of 1 wire or a wire bundle.
The protector 1 is molded from an insulating material such as synthetic resin. The protector 1 includes: a protector body 10 having an internal housing chamber 10b (fig. 7 and 8) that houses the internal electric wire We1 from a body opening 10a (fig. 7 and 8) and that routes the internal electric wire We 1; and an outer cover 20 that closes the main body opening 10a (fig. 1 to 9).
In the protector main body 10, an internal housing chamber 10b is formed as a structure for wiring the plurality of internal electric wires We 1. The protector main body 10 is provided with the internal housing chamber 10b for each internal electric wire We 1. In the protector body 10, a plurality of internal housing chambers 10b are arranged in parallel when viewed from the body opening 10 a.
The protector main body 10 has: a bottom wall 11 disposed opposite to the main opening 10a with a gap therebetween; and side walls 12 that are erected from the bottom wall surface 11a of the bottom wall 11 toward the main body opening 10a and are disposed facing each other with a space therebetween (fig. 7 and 8). In the protector main body 10, a space surrounded by the bottom wall 11 and the side walls 12 is used as an internal housing chamber 10 b. Thus, in the protector main body 10, a combination of the pair of side wall bodies 12 is provided so as to stand from the bottom wall surface 11a of the bottom wall body 11 for each internal housing chamber 10 b.
In the protector body 10, when the 2 internal housing chambers 10b are arranged adjacent to each other without being separated from each other, the side wall members 12 arranged between the 2 internal housing chambers 10b may be shared by the respective internal housing chambers 10 b.
The protector body 10 may have a storage chamber other than the internal storage chamber 10 b. For example, the other housing chamber is a chamber for housing and holding a connector, a chamber for housing and wiring electric wires of the connector, a chamber for merging and wiring internal electric wires We1 of the respective internal housing chambers 10b, and the like.
In the protector body 10, a relay chamber 10c that communicates the chambers of the internal housing chambers 10b with each other is formed in the middle of the internal housing chambers 10b (fig. 3, 7, and 8). The relay chamber 10c includes: a bottom wall surface 13 disposed opposite to the main body opening 10a with a gap; and side wall surfaces 14 that are provided upright from the bottom wall surface 13 toward the main body opening 10a and are disposed facing each other with a space therebetween (fig. 3 and 7 to 9). The bottom wall surface 13 is a part of the bottom wall surface 11a of the bottom wall body 11, and is connected to and continuous with the bottom wall surface 11a of each internal storage chamber 10 b. Therefore, hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, the bottom wall surface 13 is referred to as a "connecting bottom wall surface 13".
The relay room 10c has a wiring region 10d (fig. 3, 7, and 9) of the internal electric wire We1 for each internal electric wire We1, which enters from the internal storage room 10 b. The wiring regions 10d are arranged in the arrangement direction of the internal storage chambers 10b and the wiring regions 10 d.
The protector 1 includes an inner cover 30 (fig. 3 and 5 to 9) that covers the relay chamber 10c from the body opening 10a side and is covered by the outer cover 20. The inner cover 30 is in a closed position with respect to the relay chamber 10c when covering the relay chamber 10c, and is in an open position with respect to the relay chamber 10c when not covering but opening the relay chamber 10 c.
The inner cover 30 includes: a first inner cover portion 31 that covers one of the adjacent wiring regions 10d from the main body opening portion 10a side in the closed position; and a second inner cover portion 32 that is offset toward the connection bottom wall surface 13 side of the relay chamber 10c from the first inner cover portion 31 in the closed position, and that covers the other of the adjacent wiring regions 10d from the main body opening portion 10a side in the closed position (fig. 3 and 7 to 9). The inner cover 30 has a first standing wall 33 and a second standing wall 34 (fig. 7 to 9) which are erected from the second inner cover portion 32 toward the main body opening 10a in the closed position and are disposed facing each other with a space therebetween in the arrangement direction of the wiring regions 10 d. The first standing wall 33 is a connecting wall for connecting the first inner cover 31 and the second inner cover 32.
The inner cover 30 may be provided as a part of the protector body 10 integrally formed with the protector body 10, or may be formed as a member different from the protector body 10 and assembled to the protector body 10 when covering the relay chamber 10 c. A hinge portion 35 (fig. 3 and 7 to 9) for opening and closing the inner cover 30 with respect to the protector main body 10 between the closed position and the open position is provided between the protector main body 10 and the inner cover 30. The hinge portion 35 is provided at an end portion opposite to the second inner cover portion 32 in the arrangement direction of the respective wiring regions 10d in the first inner cover portion 31. The inner cover 30 shown here is provided as part of the protector body 10. This hinge portion 35 is thereby formed as a so-called living hinge.
The inner cover 30 is locked to the protector body 10 when in the closed position. Therefore, the locking mechanism 36 is provided between the protector body 10 and the inner cover 30, and when the first locking body 36a provided in the protector body 10 and the second locking body 36b provided in the inner cover 30 are in the locked state, the locking machine is lockedThe structure 36 holds the inner cover 30 in the closed position (fig. 7 to 9) with respect to the protector body 10. The locking mechanism 36 maintains the closed position by bringing the first locking body 36a and the second locking body 36b into a state capable of locking with each other when the inner cover 30 is in the closed position. For example, the claw portion 36a is provided on one of the first locking body 36a and the second locking body 36b1The other of the two is provided with a locking part 36a2The locking portion 36a when the inner cover 30 is in the closed position2 Hook claw portion 36a1(FIG. 9).
Such a locking mechanism 36 is provided at least 1 place between the protector main body 10 and the inner cover 30. Here, locking mechanisms 36 are provided on the end portion side of the second inner cover portion 32 opposite to the first inner cover portion 31 in the arrangement direction of the respective wiring regions 10d and between the first inner cover portion 31 and the second inner cover portion 32. In the locking mechanism 36 on the end portion side of the inner cover 30 shown here, the wall body provided with the side wall surface 14 is used as the first locking body 36a, and the claw portion 36a is made to be the first locking body 36a1A second flexible cantilever sheet-like locking body 36b protruding from the outer wall surface of the wall body is connected to the second vertical wall 34 on the outer wall surface side, and a claw portion 36a formed on the second locking body 36b1The peripheral edge of the insertion through hole of (2) is used as the locking part 36a2. In the locking mechanism 36 on the intermediate portion side of the inner cover 30 shown here, the partition wall 15 described later is used as the first locking body 36a, and the claw portion 36a is formed1A second flexible cantilever-shaped sheet-like locking body 36b protruding from the wall surface of the partition wall 15 and protruding from the end of the second inner cover portion 32 on the first inner cover portion 31 side to the opposite side to the first inner cover portion 31, and claw portions 36a formed on the second locking body 36b1The peripheral edge of the insertion through hole of (2) is used as the locking part 36a2
In the relay chamber 10c when the inner lid 30 is in the closed position, a partition wall 15 (fig. 3 and 7 to 9) is provided to partition between the adjacent wiring regions 10 d. The partition wall 15 is provided on at least one of the protector body 10 and the inner cover 30. The partition 15 may be connected to the side wall 12 constituting the internal storage chamber 10b, or may be provided with a gap between the side wall 12 and the partition. However, when such a gap is provided, the gap is of such a size that the adjacent inner wires We1 do not interfere with each other.
Further, the inner cover 30 and the partition wall 15 are formed with: when the inner cover 30 is in the closed position, the inner electric wire We1 is inhibited from moving to the adjacent wiring region 10 d. For example, the partition wall 15 shown here is provided standing from the connecting bottom wall surface 13 in the relay chamber 10c of the protector body 10 toward the body opening 10 a. Therefore, the inner cover 30 and the partition wall 15 shown here are formed so that a gap having a size equal to or larger than the outer diameter of the inner electric wire We1 does not occur between the inner cover 30 and the partition wall 15 in the closed position. As described above, the partition wall 15 serves as the first locking body 36a of the locking mechanism 36.
The protector body 10 may be formed of 1 component, or may be formed of a plurality of components assembled with each other. When the protector main body 10 is configured by a plurality of components, the relay chamber 10c is provided in the connection portion by, for example, 2 components to be connected.
In the protector main body 10 shown here, 2 internal housing chambers 10b are provided. In the protector body 10, one side of the 2 internal housing chambers 10b with respect to the relay chamber 10c is arranged in parallel with a space therebetween when viewed from the body opening 10a side, and the other side of the 2 internal housing chambers 10b with respect to the relay chamber 10c is arranged in parallel with a space therebetween when viewed from the body opening 10a side (fig. 8). The relay chamber 10c is provided with 1 wiring region 10d corresponding to each of the 2 internal storage chambers 10 b. In addition, the inner covers 30 shown here each have 1 first inner cover portion 31 and a second inner cover portion 32.
The outer cover 20 is assembled to the protector body 10, thereby closing the inner housing chamber 10b of the protector body 10 from the body opening 10a side and covering the inner cover 30.
The outer cover 20 has a lid body 21, and the lid body 21 closes the inner housing chamber 10b from the main body opening portion 10a side (fig. 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10). The outer cover 20 may be provided with 1 cover body 21 for each internal storage chamber 10b, or may be provided with 1 cover body 21 for closing all internal storage chambers 10b from the main body opening portion 10a side. The outer cover 20 may be provided with 1 lid 21 for closing the plurality of internal storage chambers 10b from the main body opening 10a side. In this case, the outer cover 20 is provided with at least 1 cover 21 for closing a combination of the plurality of internal storage chambers 10b, and may be provided with at least 1 cover 21 for closing 1 internal storage chamber 10 b.
The outer cover 20 further includes side wall bodies 22 (fig. 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10) that are respectively erected from the lid body 21 and are disposed to face each other with a space therebetween.
The outer cover 20 shown here closes one side of the 2 inner storage chambers 10b with respect to the relay chamber 10c, and has a combination of a lid 21 and respective sidewall bodies 22 for each inner storage chamber 10 b. In the combination of the lid 21 and the side walls 22, the side walls 12 are housed in the inner space, thereby closing the inner housing chamber 10b formed by the side walls 12 from the main opening 10a side. For convenience of explanation, a combination of one cover 21 and each sidewall 22 is referred to as a first outer cover 20A, and a combination of the other cover 21 and each sidewall 22 is referred to as a second outer cover 20B (fig. 1 to 6, 9, and 10). In the outer cover 20, the first outer cover 20A and the second outer cover 20B are arranged in parallel with a space therebetween.
The first outer cover 20A closes one of the adjacent inner storage chambers 10b with a space therebetween when viewed from the body opening 10A, and covers one wiring region 10d into which the internal electric wire We1 of the one inner storage chamber 10b enters together with the first inner cover 31. The first outer cover 20A shown here houses the first inner cover portion 31 and the first standing wall 33 of the inner cover 30 in the space inside the lid body 21 and each sidewall 22. The first outer cover 20A covers a wiring region 10d of the relay chamber 10c with the first inner cover portion 31 and the first standing wall 33 interposed therebetween.
On the other hand, the second outer cover 20B closes the other of the adjacent inner storage chambers 10B with a gap when viewed from the main body opening 10 a. The second outer cover 20B shown here also accommodates the second standing wall 34 of the inner cover 30 and the locking mechanism 36 on the end portion side in the space inside the lid body 21 and each side wall body 22. The second outer cover 20B covers the other wiring region 10d of the relay chamber 10c with the second standing wall 34 interposed therebetween.
The outer cover 20 has a connecting body 23 (fig. 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10) between the first outer cover 20A and the second outer cover 20B to connect them. The connecting body 23 connects the side wall bodies 22 disposed facing each other between the first outer cover 20A and the second outer cover 20B. The connecting body 23 covers the second inner cover 32 together with the other wiring region 10d into which the internal electric wire We1 of the other internal housing chamber 10b enters. The connecting member 23 shown here is formed in a flat plate shape. Specifically, the connecting body 23 covers the other wiring region 10d of the relay chamber 10c with the second inner cover portion 32 of the inner cover 30 interposed therebetween. The connecting body 23 is offset toward the second inner cover 32 side from the wire insertion port 50a of the external housing chamber 50 so as to form a bottom wall surface 51 of the external housing chamber 50, which will be described later. Thus, the connecting body 23 is provided adjacent to the second inner cover portion 32 by partially connecting the end portions of the side wall bodies 22 on the side in the direction in which the connecting body stands from the cover body 21 to each other.
On the other hand, the outer cover 20 shown here has 1 "combination of the lid 21 and each sidewall 22" to close the other side of the 2 internal storage chambers 10b with respect to the relay chamber 10c and to close the 2 internal storage chambers 10b collectively. In the combination of the lid body 21 and the side wall bodies 22, the 2 outermost side wall bodies 12 forming the 2 internal storage chambers 10b are stored in the space inside thereof, thereby closing the 2 internal storage chambers 10b from the main body opening portion 10a side. For convenience of description, the combination of the cover 21 and the side walls 22 is referred to as a third outer cover 20C (fig. 1, 2, 4 to 6, 9, and 10).
The outer cover 20 may be formed of 1 component, or may be formed of a plurality of components assembled with each other.
The protector 1 includes a lock mechanism 40 between the protector main body 10 and the outer cover 20, and the assembled state of the protector main body 10 and the outer cover 20 is maintained by the lock mechanism 40 (fig. 1 and 2). The lock mechanism 40 includes: a first locking body 41 provided in the protector body 10; and a second locking body 42 (fig. 5 and 6) provided in the outer cover 20. The lock mechanism 40 maintains the assembled state by bringing the first locking body 41 and the second locking body 42 into a state capable of locking with each other when the protector body 10 and the outer cover 20 are in the assembled state. For example, the first locking body 41 and the second locking body 42 have a pawl portion on one of them, and have a locking portion on the other of them for hooking the pawl portion when the protector body 10 and the outer cover 20 are assembled. The protector 1 includes such lock mechanisms 40 at a plurality of locations.
In the protector 1, an outer wall surface (hereinafter referred to as "protector outer wall surface") 1w (fig. 1, 2, 5, and 6) is formed by the outer wall surfaces 10w and 20w of the protector body 10 and the outer cover 20 in an assembled state. In the protector 1 shown here, a part of the bottom wall surface 11a of the protector body 10 between the internal housing chambers 10b and the like also becomes the outer wall surface 10w of the protector body 10. The protector body 10 shown here is provided with a standing wall 16, and the standing wall 16 is disposed between a first outer cover 20A and a second outer cover 20B of the outer covers 20 in an assembled state, standing from between the respective inner housing chambers 10B of the bottom wall surface 11a (fig. 1 and 5 to 8). The standing wall 16 extends in the wiring direction of the internal electric wires We1 in each internal housing room 10B, and is disposed facing the outer wall surface 22a of each side wall 22 disposed facing between the first outer cover 20A and the second outer cover 20B. Thus, in the protector 1, the wall surface of the standing wall 16 also serves as the outer wall surface 10w of the protector body 10. In the protector 1 shown here, the connecting body 23 of the outer cover 20 partially covers the connecting bottom wall surface 13 of the relay chamber 10c from above the second inner cover portion 32. Thus, in the coupling body 23, the wall surface 23a on the lid body 21 side opposite to the second inner cover portion 32 becomes the outer wall surface 20w of the outer cover 20.
The protector 1 has the external electric wire We2 routed along the protector outer wall surface 1 w. Therefore, the protector outer wall surface 1w is provided with the external housing chamber 50, and the external housing chamber 50 houses and routes the external electric wire We2 from the electric wire insertion port 50a (fig. 1 to 3, 5, 6, and 9).
An external housing chamber 50 is formed in the protector outer wall surface 1w as a structure in which at least 1 external electric wire We2 is wired. In the protector outer wall surface 1w, when a plurality of external wires We2 are wired, the external storage room 50 is provided for each external wire We 2.
The external housing chamber 50 includes: a bottom wall surface 51 disposed opposite to the wire insertion port 50a with a space; and side wall surfaces 52 that are provided upright from the bottom wall surface 51 toward the wire insertion port 50a and are arranged to face each other with a space therebetween (fig. 3, 5, 6, and 9). That is, the external storage chamber 50 is a space surrounded by the bottom wall surface 51 and the side wall surfaces 52. In the external housing chamber 50, the external electric wire We2 is routed along the wire insertion port 50a, the bottom wall surface 51, and the side wall surfaces 52. The external housing room 50 shown here is provided with 1 in each of the 2 internal housing rooms 10B (i.e., between the first external cover 20A and the second external cover 20B) on the side opposite to the relay room 10c, among the internal housing rooms 10B, and the external electric wires We2 are wired in substantially the same direction as the wiring direction of each of the internal electric wires We 1. The external housing chamber 50 has a wire outlet 50b, and the wire outlet 50b draws out an external wire We2 (fig. 5 and 6) wired in the external housing chamber 50 to the outside.
The bottom wall surface 51 is formed by at least one of the outer wall surfaces 10w, 20w of the protector body 10 and the outer cover 20, respectively. The bottom wall surface 51 shown here is formed by a portion of the bottom wall surface 11a of the protector body 10 between the respective internal storage chambers 10B (between the first outer cover 20A and the second outer cover 20B) and serving as the protector outer wall surface 1w, and a wall surface 23a on the lid body 21 side in the coupling body 23 of the outer cover 20 (fig. 5 and 6). Thereby, the inner cover 30 in the closed position is disposed between the relay chamber 10c and the outer housing chamber 50.
Each side wall surface 52 is formed by at least one of the outer wall surfaces 10w, 20w of the protector body 10 and the outer cover 20, respectively. One side wall surface 52 shown here is formed by the outer wall surface 22a of the side wall body 22 of the first outer cover 20A disposed opposite to the second outer cover 20B. The standing wall 16 of the protector body 10 and the side wall body 22 of the second outer cover 20B are used for the other side wall surface 52 shown here. The other side wall surface 52 is formed by a wall surface 16a of the standing wall 16 disposed to face the first outer cover 20A and an outer wall surface 22a of the side wall body 22 of the second outer cover 20B disposed to face the first outer cover 20A (fig. 5 and 6). Here, a portion of the outer wall surface 22a of the side wall body 22 of the second outer cover 20B, which is connected to the wall surface 23a of the coupling body 23 on the lid body 21 side, is used as a part of the other side wall surface 52.
Here, the external housing room 50 includes a wire holding portion 53 (fig. 1, 2, and 4 to 8) that holds the external wire We2 therein. The wire holding portion 53 includes: a pair of cantilevered pieces 53a that are erected from the bottom wall surface 11a of the protector body 10 and are arranged facing each other in the facing direction of the internal housing chambers 10 b; and a pair of locking piece portions 53b that project from the free ends of the respective piece portions 53a toward the other piece portion 53a and are disposed facing each other with a space therebetween (fig. 5 to 8). The external electric wire We2 is inserted between the respective locking piece portions 53b and 53 a. In the wire holding portion 53, the relative movement of the external wire We2 in the facing direction with respect to the protector outer wall surface 1w is restricted by the respective piece portions 53a, and the relative movement of the external wire We2 in the direction opposite to the insertion direction with respect to the protector outer wall surface 1w is restricted by the respective locking piece portions 53 b.
The wire holding portion 53 is provided in 2 places in the external housing chamber 50 (fig. 1, 2, and 4). The combination of the one "piece portion 53a and the locking piece portion" 53B in the one wire holding portion 53 is arranged between the wall surface 16a of the standing wall 16 constituting the other side wall surface 52 and the outer wall surface 22a of the side wall body 22 of the second outer cover 20B (fig. 5 and 6). In the external housing chamber 50 shown here, the other wire holding portion 53 is arranged on the side opposite to the wire drawing port 50b side with respect to the one wire holding portion 53.
The protector outer wall surface 1w shown here is provided with a wire locking portion 60, and the wire locking portion 60 locks relative movement of the external wire We2 drawn out from the wire drawing port 50b to the outside of the external storage compartment 50 toward the wire insertion port 50a (fig. 1, 2, and 4). The wire locking portion 60 has a passage 60a like a through hole in a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and an external wire We2 drawn out from the wire drawing port 50b is inserted through the passage 60 a.
In the protector 1 of the present embodiment, the internal wires We1 are routed while being stored in the respective internal storage chambers 10b, and then the internal cover 30 in the open position is moved to the closed position and locked to the protector body 10 by the locking mechanism 36. In this protector 1, at this time, the wiring path of each internal electric wire We1 in the relay chamber 10c is restricted. That is, in the protector 1 of the present embodiment, the respective internal electric wires We1 can stay in the respective wiring areas 10d by the partition wall 15 of the relay chamber 10c and the inner cover 30. Accordingly, even in the protector 1, the internal electric wires We1 routed in the respective internal storage chambers 10b around the relay chamber 10c can be kept in their positions.
Therefore, in the protector 1, even if the internal electric wires are not fixed to the protector body by fixing members such as jigs and clips as in the conventional case, the respective internal electric wires We1 can stay on the wiring path. This protector 1 can thereby reduce the work time required for wiring the internal electric wire We1 and reduce the number of components. In the protector 1, after the inner cover 30 is moved to the closed position, the operator or the like can assemble the outer cover 20 to the protector body 10 without paying attention to the floating of the respective inner wires We1 from the inner housing chamber 10b or the like. Then, in the protector 1, the external electric wire We2 is wired while being stored in the external storage room 50. As described above, the protector 1 of the present embodiment can improve the assembling workability compared to the conventional one, and can achieve a cost reduction corresponding thereto. In the protector 1 of the present embodiment, the partition wall 15 of the relay chamber 10c and the inner cover 30 can restrict the wiring paths of the internal electric wires We1 and the external electric wires We2, and the internal electric wires We1 and the external electric wires We2 having different wiring paths can be collected. The wire harness WH of the present embodiment is provided with such a protector 1, and thus the effects obtained by the protector 1 can be obtained similarly.
