Description

Acid water mechanism for MMA production device
Technical Field
The invention relates to an acid water mechanism for an MMA (methyl methacrylate) production device.
Background
Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) is an important organic chemical raw material and chemical product, can be polymerized by self or copolymerized with other monomers to generate methyl methacrylate resin and plastics, such as organic glass (PMMA), methyl methacrylate-styrene-butadiene (MBS) resin and the like, can also be used for a second monomer, resin, adhesive, coating, medical functional material and the like in acrylic fiber production, and has very wide application.
Currently, methyl methacrylate production technologies adopted at home and abroad mainly include an Acetone Cyanohydrin (ACH) method, an isobutylene oxidation method and an ethylene method, ACH method technology is mainly adopted in north america and western europe, isobutene is mainly adopted in japan as a raw material, and Alpha technology of the british cellulote (Lucite) company is mainly used in the industrial production process for preparing methyl methacrylate by using ethylene as a raw material.
The Acetone Cyanohydrin (ACH) method is continuously improved and improved for a long time, has advanced technology, maturity and reliability and good product quality, is a main production method of MMA, and has the capacity accounting for more than 80 percent in the global range. The process can effectively utilize hydrocyanic acid which is a byproduct of an acrylonitrile device, and has higher MMA yield, which is an important technical advantage.
In the Acetone Cyanohydrin (ACH) method, Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) product is sent to a rectification separation device from the gas phase of an esterification kettle, kettle liquid (waste acid water) is sent to an acid water tank, and after light components are recovered by steam stripping, the residual waste acid is sent to a waste acid recovery device. In the esterification process, can produce a heavy ends (asphaltene) usually in the cauldron liquid of esterifying, along with the sour water together enters into the sour water storage tank along the pipeline, fall to the storage tank bottom, through constantly accumulating, form asphaltene precipitate layer, consequently sour water tank need regularly open the jar and carry out artifical clearance, this kind of asphaltene appears the semisolid colloidal state for black from the outward appearance, clear jar in-process, after its contact air after opening the jar, can become a surface slightly hard, the material of similar cinder.
The sour water has the acid corrosion characteristic, and consequently sour water jar generally is carbon steel lining acid-resistant brick structure, and relative steel storage tank, this kind of material is very easy to be damaged at the clear jar in-process, and because the volume of asphaltene is great, generally fifteen days to twenty days or so just need clear up once, and the frequency of clear jar is higher again, consequently, in order not to influence the normal production of device, how to set up one set can effectively switch the sour water system of being equipped with each other and just very important.
