Description

Combined formula of fragrant essential oil for promoting sleep
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of medicines, and in particular relates to a combined formula of fragrant essential oil for promoting sleep.
Background
Sleep is an important physiological process for maintaining the normal function and operation of each organ of the body, and is consistently considered as a resting state of the body of higher animals, particularly higher spine animals, which alternate with each other according to their own specific biological rhythms and wakefulness states. However, various interference factors inside or outside the human body easily cause sleep disorder and malfunction of the arousal mechanism. This dysbiosis can cause a series of clinical symptoms related to the sleep and wakefulness states, i.e. sleep disorders, which are mainly manifested by insufficient or excessive sleep.
The common medicines for clinically treating the sleep disorder comprise sedative hypnotics, antidepressants with hypnotic effect, traditional Chinese medicines and the like. The medicine has the effect of promoting sleep of human bodies clinically, but the medicine treatment is not preferred for patients with special sleep disorder, such as the elderly. For the elderly, the medicines for promoting sleep have more adverse reactions after being taken. The patient is very easy to have the adverse reactions of ataxia, abnormal movement, sleepwalking, respiratory depression and the like, the muscle tension of the patient is easily reduced if the patient is in a light state, the patient easily falls down, and the life of the patient is threatened if the patient is in a heavy state. For treating the sleep disorder patients, most western medicines have limited curative effect, are easy to generate drug resistance and are easy to generate adverse reactions, such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache and the like. Therefore, there is a need in the art to develop new methods for treating sleep disorders.

Note that: the standard deviation is not described here when statistical data is made.
And (4) conclusion:
in examples 1 to 14 and comparative examples 1 to 7, the sleep latency on days 1 to 4 decreased overall, and the sleep duration increased, but both fluctuated. The sleep latency and the sleep duration both stabilized by days 5-7. Therefore, the essential oil of the incense really plays a role in tranquilizing and allaying excitement. Specific analyses for examples 1-14 are as follows:
(1) in examples 1-5, the essential oil of incense of example 3 induced sleep more strongly, the whole sleep latency was the shortest, the whole sleep duration was the longest, and the latent sleep time of rats from day 1 to day 7 was shortened by 24.6%, and the average sleep duration was prolonged by 44.2%.
(2) In examples 6 to 8, the essential oil of incense of example 8 induced sleep more strongly, had the shortest overall sleep latency and the longest overall sleep duration, and the latent sleep time of rats from day 1 to day 7 was shortened by 21.9% and the average sleep duration was prolonged by 38.8%.
(3) In examples 9 to 11, the essential oil of incense of example 10 induced sleep more strongly, the whole sleep latency was the shortest, the whole sleep duration was the longest, and the latent sleep time of rats from day 1 to day 7 was shortened by 19.1%, and the average sleep duration was prolonged by 26.3%.
(4) In examples 12 to 14, the essential oil of incense of example 14 induced sleep more strongly, the whole sleep latency was the shortest, the whole sleep duration was the longest, and the latent sleep time of rats from day 1 to day 7 was shortened by 35.1%, and the average sleep duration was prolonged by 23.5%.
(5) In example 3, example 8, example 10 and example 14, the overall sleep latency and the consolidated sleep duration of example 14 fluctuated the most compared to the end of modeling, and after the 7-day experiment, the rats in the example 14 group slept better than the blank group.
Experiment three: the effect of inhaling the essential oil of the present invention on the primary sleep disorder patient was observed.
The formula of the embodiment 14 of the invention is applied to clinical experiments
The method comprises the following steps:
s1, selecting 75 testees from neurology inpatients at affiliated hospitals of medical university of Anhui, randomly dividing the testees into 5 groups, and dividing the groups into the essential oil for aromatherapy prepared by the formula in the embodiment 14 of the invention, wherein the method specifically comprises the following steps: 100% essential oil, 30% essential oil, 1% essential oil, grape seed oil and blank group;
s2, respectively inhaling the same amount of the above substances in the first 4 groups before sleep, continuously observing and recording data for one week every 10min, and performing no treatment on blank groups;
s3, adopting Polysomnography (PSG) results to discuss the curative effect of the medicine on insomnia and screen out proper concentration.
As a result: after one week of inhalation of the essential oil of the present invention, the PSG results showed that it could shorten sleep latency, prolong sleep time, improve sleep efficiency and sleep maintenance rate, increase (S3+ S4) and non-snap eye-arouse sleep percentage, lower blood pressure. Wherein, the difference between the 30 percent concentration essential oil group and the blank group has statistical significance, and the indexes are not obviously changed when the grape seed oil is absorbed.
And (4) conclusion: the essential oil can safely and effectively improve the insomnia of patients with primary insomnia by inhalation through olfactory pathway, wherein the effect of 30 percent concentration is better, and the grape seed oil has no function of improving sleep.
The above-mentioned embodiments are further described in detail for the purpose of illustrating the invention, and it should be understood that the above-mentioned embodiments are only exemplary embodiments of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention, and any modifications, equivalent substitutions, improvements and the like made within the spirit of the invention should be included in the scope of the invention.
