Description

Modified metal sulfonate antirust additive
Technical Field
The invention relates to a modified metal sulfonate antirust additive, belonging to the field of chemical industry.
Background
The oil soluble metal sulfonate is the most common antirust additive in China, the salt forming product of the oil soluble metal sulfonate is generally alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, such as barium, calcium, magnesium, zinc and the like, and the single agent antirust performance of the metal sulfonate is not very excellent, especially in a salt spray test. If the antirust oil is directly compounded with oil-soluble carboxylic acid, such as dodecenylsuccinic acid and the like, the acid value of the oil-soluble carboxylic acid is generally high, the acid value of the whole antirust oil system is higher, the stability of an oil base is not facilitated, the surface of a workpiece is discolored to generate yellow spots, the addition amount is generally low, and the antirust performance improving effect is limited.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the defects, the invention provides a modified metal sulfonate antirust additive, and the technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows:
a modified metal sulfonate rust inhibiting additive comprising an oil soluble metal sulfonate, a carboxylic acid or a carboxylic acid ester; the preparation method comprises the steps of mixing the oil-soluble sulfonic acid with carboxylic acid or carboxylic ester, and then saponifying with alkali metal hydroxide or alkaline earth metal hydroxide or zinc salt.
Wherein the mass ratio of the oil-soluble sulfonic acid to the carboxylic acid or the carboxylic ester is 4-6: 1.
Wherein, the dosage of the alkali metal hydroxide or the alkaline earth metal hydroxide or the zinc salt is calculated according to the acid value of the oil-soluble sulfonic acid and the carboxylic acid or the carboxylic ester, and if the final product needs to have the base value, the required base value is also calculated.
Further, the oil-soluble metal sulfonate is an alkyl aromatic sulfonate, preferably a heavy alkylbenzene sulfonate or dinonyl naphthalene sulfonate.
Further, the metal portion of the oil-soluble metal sulfonate is an alkali or alkaline earth metal or zinc salt, preferably barium or calcium or magnesium or zinc.
Further, the carboxylic acid or carboxylic acid ester is alkenyl succinic acid or alkenyl succinic acid half ester, preferably dodecenyl succinic acid.
Further, the oil-soluble sulfonic acid is an alkyl aromatic sulfonic acid, preferably a heavy alkyl benzene sulfonic acid or dinonyl naphthalene sulfonic acid.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that: the invention is prepared by mixing oil-soluble sulfonic acid and oil-soluble carboxylic acid or carboxylic ester and saponifying with alkali metal hydroxide or alkaline earth metal hydroxide or zinc salt. The antirust additive disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the metal content is increased, the antirust performance is obviously improved, and particularly, the salt spray test result is greatly improved; compared with the same type of products in the market, the antirust additive provided by the invention has the advantages that the acid value is obviously reduced, the antirust additive is not easy to corrode, and the antirust additive has good stability; meanwhile, the antirust additive also has good oil solubility and can be well compatible with common base oil.
Detailed Description
The technical solution of the present invention is further described below with reference to examples.
Example (b):
200g of heavy alkylbenzene sulfonic acid with the acid value of 121MgKOH/g, 60g of dodecenylsuccinic acid with the acid value of 265MgKOH/g, 240g of 15# white oil and 120g of barium hydroxide (octahydrate) are added into a 1000ML three-neck flask with a stirring and heating sleeve, the materials are stirred and heated to 80 ℃, 20g of hydrogen peroxide is slowly added for decolorization, after stirring for half an hour, the temperature is raised to evaporate water to 150 ℃ to obtain 548g of material, and the material is filtered to obtain 520g of product.
Through detection, the product has the following appearance: reddish brown transparent viscous liquid, acid value: 0.58MgKOH/g, base number: 0.89MgKOH/g, barium content: 8.75%, chroma: (dilution) 3.0, viscosity: (100 ℃ C.) 87mm2/s。
Comparative example 1: the detection shows that the product appearance of the neutral barium dinonyl naphthalene sulfonate product produced by Anhui Chengtai chemical technology limited company is as follows: reddish brown transparent viscous liquid, acid value: 0.52MgKOH/g, base number: 0.67MgKOH/g, barium content: 6.65%, chroma: (dilution) 3.0, viscosity: (100 ℃ C.) 83.2mm2/s。
Comparative example 2: XX 705A product from a company is commercially available, and the appearance of the product is detected to be: reddish brown transparent viscous liquid, acid value: 19MgKOH/g, base number: none, barium content: 7.9%, chroma: (dilution) 3.0, viscosity: (100 ℃ C.) 68mm2/s。
The performance of the examples compared to comparative examples 1, 2 is as follows:
Figure BDA0003183525170000031
as can be seen from the comparison of the data in the table, compared with comparative example 1, the barium content in the present example is high, and the rust time of the salt spray box test is several times longer than that in comparative example 1, which shows that the rust-proof performance of the present invention is obviously improved compared with that in comparative example 1. Compared with the comparative example 2, the salt spray box test of the embodiment has the same rust starting time as the comparative example 2, but the acid value is obviously lower than that of the comparative example 2, and meanwhile, the embodiment has no precipitation in the oil solubility test, and the comparative example 2 has precipitation, which shows that the stability and the oil solubility of the invention are obviously improved compared with the comparative example 2.
While the foregoing is directed to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
