RELATED APPLICATIONS
The present application is a divisional application of the chinese patent application entitled "adapter for mounting a retaining member of a door handle or a window handle" having an application date of 2018, 5 and 18, and an application number of 201880036808.1.
Technical Field
The invention relates to an adapter for mounting a retaining element, which adapter can be fixed in a form-fitting manner in a receptacle opening of a window frame, a door leaf or the like of a door or window handle, and to an arrangement of a door or window handle in a receptacle opening of a window frame, a door leaf or the like.
Background
An arrangement of the type in question is known, for example, from DE 202015101329U 1. In this case, the handle neck of the door or window handle is fixed to a holding element which is in turn fixed to a door frame, door leaf or the like formed as a hollow profile.
The holding member includes: a base body and a receiving body rotatably mounted on the base body, having a bearing opening for receiving and mounting a polygon fixed in and protruding from a handle grip of a door or window handle; and also at least one clamping element which is movable radially outwards on the base body of the holding element.
This makes it possible to push the holding element from the visible side of the window or door frame into the receptacle opening and subsequently to extend the clamping element radially with respect to the base body of the holding element into the cavity on the inner side of the frame profile facing away from the visible side, thus securing the holding element from being pulled axially out of the receptacle opening in the window frame, door leaf or the like.
It has proven to be problematic in such an arrangement that the fastening of a door or window handle using such a retaining element is only suitable for door or window frames formed as hollow profiles.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to provide an adapter with which it is possible to fasten a door or window handle in a solid profile, and an arrangement of a door or window handle in a receptacle opening of a window frame, door frame or the like.
This object is achieved by an adapter and an arrangement having the following features:
an adapter for mounting a retaining element, which adapter can be fixed in a form-fitting manner in a receptacle opening of a window frame or leaf of a door handle or window handle, comprising: a jacket; a base extending from an inner surface of the jacket, having a polygonal receptacle and at least two apertures; said collet including at least one aperture for receiving a gripping element radially movable out of a base body of said retaining element; and
arrangement of a door or window handle in a receptacle opening of a window frame or door leaf, wherein a handle neck of the door or window handle is fixed on a holding element, wherein the holding element comprises: a base body; a receiving body pivotally mounted in the base body having a bearing opening for receiving and mounting a polygon fixed in and extending from a handle neck of the door or window handle; and at least one clamping element which can be moved radially out of the base body of the holding element,
-according to the aforementioned adapter, being fixed in said receptacle opening, housing said retaining element,
-wherein the at least one clamping element is movable out of a mounting position in which the clamping element is inserted into a bore of a jacket surface of the base body into an operative position in which the clamping element projects radially outward from the bore of the jacket surface of the base body into the bore of the jacket of the adapter.
An adapter for mounting a retaining element according to the invention, which can be fixed in a form-fitting manner in a receptacle opening of a window frame, a door leaf or the like of a door or window handle, comprises: a jacket; a base extending from an inner surface of the jacket, having a polygonal receptacle and at least two apertures.
The collet includes at least one aperture for receiving a clamping element radially displaceable out of the base body of the retaining element.
By means of such an adapter, it is possible in a simple manner to extend the clamping element, which is radially displaceable out of the base body of the holding element, into the bore of the adapter, so that the holding element can be axially fixed after passage through the opening of the receptacle adapted to receive the adapter in a window frame, door leaf or the like.
In the arrangement according to the invention of a door or window handle in the receptacle opening of a window frame, door leaf or the like, the handle neck of the door or window handle is fixed to the holding element.
The holding member includes: a base body; a receiving body pivotally mounted in the base body, having a bearing opening for receiving and mounting a polygon fixed in and protruding from a handle neck of a door or window handle; and at least one clamping element which can be moved radially out of the base body of the holding element.
The above-mentioned adapter, which accommodates the holding element, is fixed in the receptacle opening. In this case, the at least one clamping element of the holding element can be moved out of a mounting position, in which the clamping element is inserted into the bore of the jacket surface of the base body, into an operating position, in which the clamping element projects radially outward from the bore of the jacket surface of the base body into the bore of the jacket of the adapter.
In this case, the arrangement according to the invention of the door or window handle is characterized by a simple mounting and fixing option of the door or window handle in the receptacle opening of a window frame, door leaf or the like made of solid material.
According to an advantageous embodiment variant of the adapter according to the invention, the jacket comprises two such holes, which are formed on opposite sides of the jacket, which achieves a uniform loading of the jacket when a traction force is applied in the longitudinal direction of the polygon.
According to another advantageous embodiment variant, the collet comprises at least one recess for accommodating a projection for rotationally locking the holding element in the adapter, projecting radially outwards from the base body of the holding element.
The jacket is preferably designed as a cylindrical jacket.
According to another embodiment variant, the base of the jacket is formed as a star with arms in which holes are arranged, which arms extend radially from the polygonal receptacle to the jacket.
According to another embodiment variant, the base of the jacket is formed in a circular shape with pins extending from the rear side of the base facing away from the holding element.
This enables, in particular, a rotational locking of the adapter relative to the undulating contact surface of the receptacle opening.
According to a preferred embodiment variant of the arrangement according to the invention, a protrusion is formed on the outer surface of the polygon to limit the insertion depth of the polygon in a window frame, door leaf or the like.
In this case, the projection presses against the housing wall of the door or window handle of the lock unit, which is inserted facing the polygon, in the mounted state of the door or window handle.
This makes the mounting of the door handle, in particular of the polygon, extremely simple.

Detailed Description
In the following description of the drawings, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc. relate only to illustrations and positions chosen by way of example in the respective drawings of an adapter, a retaining element, a door or window handle, a collet, a base body, a clamping element, etc. These terms should not be construed as limiting, i.e., these references may vary due to various operating positions or mirror symmetric designs, etc.
In fig. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a part of a door or window frame, wherein a door or window handle 2 having a handle neck 21 is fixed by means of a holding element 5, which handle neck 21 has a gripping portion 22.
In this case, the holding element 5 is preferably designed as in DE 202015101329U 1 of the applicant, the functional description of which is expressly referred to here.
As can also be gathered from fig. 1, the door or window frame 1 comprises a receptacle opening 8 for receiving the adapter 3.
A first embodiment variant of such an adapter is shown in fig. 4. A second embodiment variant of such an adapter is shown in fig. 5a and 5 b. Both variants have the following features: the adapter 3 comprises a cylindrical jacket 31 and a base 36 extending from the inner surface of the jacket.
Other shapes of the jacket design are also conceivable, for example polygonal. In this case the base is provided with a polygonal receptacle 34 and at least two holes 33.
In this case, the holes 33 are intended to receive screws 9 for fixing the adapter 3 to the window or door frame 1. The polygonal receptacle 34 arranged centrally in this case serves to guide through a polygon 4 formed as a quadrangular bar, which extends from a cavity inside the handle neck 22 through the retaining element 5 into the gear arrangement or locking unit 11 in the window or door frame 1.
A cover disc 6 is provided to cover the holding element 5 from the visible side of the door or window frame 1. The door or window handle 2 is fastened to the holding element 5 by means of a fastening screw 7, which fastening screw 7 extends through a receptacle 23 in the side of the handle neck 2 into a receptacle 53 in a receptacle body 52 of the holding element 5, in which receptacle body 52 a polygon 4 is accommodated.
As shown in fig. 1, 4, 5a and 5b, the collet 31 comprises two holes 32 for accommodating clamping elements 54, the clamping elements 54 being radially movable out of the base body 51 of the holding element 5 and being in particular pivotably held on the base body 51.
It is also conceivable to provide only one such clamping element 54 on the holding element 5 and thus only one such hole 32 in the jacket 31 of the adapter 3.
The hole 32 is here formed as a through hole. It is also conceivable to keep the jacket outer surface of the jacket 31 closed and thus to form the aperture 32 as a pocket aperture.
In this case, the holes 32 are preferably formed on the opposite jacket surface inner sides of the jacket 31.
In order to rotationally fix the holding element 5 relative to the adapter 3, two recesses 35 are preferably introduced in the jacket inner surface of the jacket 31, said two recesses 35 being intended to receive projections projecting radially outwards from the base body 51 of the holding element 5.
As further shown in fig. 4, the base 36 of this embodiment variant of the adapter 3 is formed in a star shape. In this case, the arms in which the holes 33 are arranged extend radially from the polygonal receptacle 34 towards the jacket 31.
In addition to the four-armed star configuration of the base 36 shown here, it is also conceivable to provide, for example, only two, three or more than four such arms.
In the embodiment variant shown in fig. 5a and 5b, the base 36 is formed as a circular plate with a corresponding hole 33 and a centrally arranged polygonal receptacle 34. The pin 37 is preferably arranged (in particular formed) extending perpendicularly with respect to the plane of the base on the rear side of the base 36 facing away from the holding element 5.
The adapter 3 is preferably designed as an injection-molded part.
To mount the door handle or window sash 2 on the door or window sash 1, the adapter 3 is first inserted into the receptacle opening 8 of the door or window sash 1 and the adapter 3 is fixed by means of the screw 9.
With an additional twist-lock of the variant of embodiment of the adapter 3 shown in fig. 4, the receptacle opening 8 comprises, with respect to the door leaf or sash 1, a corrugated contact surface 82, which corrugated contact surface 82 is formed according to the star-shaped structure of the base 36 of the adapter, so that the bottom 36 is fixed in the receptacle opening 8 in a form-fitting manner in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the polygon 4, wherein the polygon 4 pivots when the door handle 2 is actuated.
For an additional twist-lock of the embodiment variant of the adapter 3 shown in fig. 5a and 5b with respect to the door leaf or window sash 1, in which the polygon 4 pivots when the door handle 2 is actuated, a corresponding recess for receiving the pin 37 is provided in the receptacle opening 8, so that the base 36 is also fixed in the receptacle opening 8 in a form-fitting manner in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the polygon 4.
Subsequently, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the polygon 4 is inserted into the door or window frame 1 through the polygon receptacle 34 of the adapter and upward into the locking unit 10.
In order to prevent the polygon 4 from advancing and extending beyond the target position, according to the preferred embodiment variant shown in fig. 6 to 8, a protrusion 44 for limiting the insertion depth of the polygon is formed on the outer surface of the polygon.
In this case, the projections can be introduced, for example, by deformation of the outer edge of the body 41 of the polygon 4, in particular in the form of material displacement, the cross section of the body of the polygon preferably being formed as a square.
In this case, the projection 44 is pressed against the housing wall of the lock unit 11 toward the door handle or window handle 2 in the mounted state of the door handle or window handle 2, and the polygon 4 is inserted into the lock unit 11.
In this case, the polygon 4 is preferably provided as a hollow profile with a longitudinal bore 45 with an internal thread, into which longitudinal bore 45 the locking screw 43 can be inserted. A longitudinal groove 42 extending in the longitudinal extension direction of the polygon is preferably introduced on the end of the polygon 4 inserted into the locking unit 11.
The end of the polygon 4 provided with the longitudinal slot 42 is slightly flared by inserting the screw 43 into the cavity 45 of the polygon 4, so that the polygon 4 is held in the locking unit 11 in a clamping manner.
Subsequently, the holding member 5 is placed on the polygon 4.
The cover disk 6 is then pushed onto the handle neck 22 of the door or window handle 2, and finally the door or window handle 2 is placed by means of the handle neck 22 on the receptacle body 52 and the door or window handle 2 is fixed using the locking screw 7, the receptacle body 52 being mounted pivotably in the base body 51 of the holding element 5.

Claims (12)

1. An adapter (3) for mounting a retaining element (5), the adapter (3) being fixable in a form-fitting manner in a receptacle opening (8) of a window frame (1) or a door leaf of a door handle or window handle (2), the adapter (3) comprising: a jacket (31); -a base (36), said base (36) extending from the inner surface of the jacket (31), having a polygonal receptacle (34) and at least two holes (33), characterized in that the jacket (31) comprises at least one hole (32) for housing a clamping element (54) which can be radially moved out of the base body (51) of the holding element (5).
2. The adapter (3) according to claim 1, characterized in that the jacket (31) comprises two holes (32) formed on opposite sides.
3. The adapter (3) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the jacket (31) comprises at least one groove (35) for receiving a protrusion protruding radially outwards from a base body (51) of the retaining element (5).
